An anonymous donor gave $130 million to the U.S. Department of War to pay troops during the Democrats’ government shutdown.
President Donald Trump on Thursday said a “friend” sent the check to the government as military members’ paychecks are on hold, Fox News reported Friday.
“He called us the other day and said, ‘I’d like to contribute any shortfall you have because of the Democrat shutdown. I’d like to contribute personally, because I love the military and I love the country,’” the president recalled.
Trump said he would not reveal the individual’s name unless he was granted permission, adding that the person did not present the gift for recognition.

Pharmasponsored VA “healthcare”. I’ve seen others who destroyed their prescriptions and picked up cannabis as a better and more effective option. So far, I’ve avoided so-called medications, for the most part. There was Lisinopril, but I stopped taking that when my blood pressure and heart rate normalized after I stopped drinking. I got put back on Nexium after an endoscopy, but the GERD doesn’t affect me like it did when I drank whiskey from sunup to sundown. The -itis’s suck, and I really feel them when I’m 40 hours into the work week on a Wednesday, but I only rarely take OTC stuff like ibuprofen. The pain reminds me I’m still here, even if I walk and move a little funny sometimes.Pharmais everywhere, though. My PCP has offered me various medications for everything from alcohol cessation to weight loss, but no thanks. I stopped drinking on my own accord and know that dropping a few pounds (I’ve gained a whopping 15 pounds in the past year) requires me to simply eat better and do more physical activities. The monthly military pay roll is much more than $130,000,000. That is only $130 for every active duty member and does not include the National Guard or Reserves.

Start paying E1’s first. Then E2’s. And so on up the paygrades.
Those are the among least expendable ranks in terms of numbers, anyway. When I was a smart ass E1/E2, I found something showing the percentage of personnel assigned to Fort Campbell by paygrade. E4s and E5s dwarfed the lowest grades. I brought that up to every SPC I knew. I also reminded them who wore the stripes as an E2.
