1 man dead after reported domestic abuse leads to shooting, woman questioned and released

Just after midnight on Friday, Oct. 3, Tulsa Police responded to an apartment complex for a reported shooting where one man was found dead.Officers arrived at the Bradford Apartments near E. 32nd St. N. and Garrison, where a woman said she shot her child’s father because he was assaulting her and threatening to kill her, according to police.
Billy Williams, 45, was found dead inside the apartment with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police note the woman showed multiple signs of domestic abuse. She was questioned and released pending further investigation.

Not an unusual situation unfortunately. Far too many men and women have been raised by either part time parents who had no clue how to raise kids or virtually nonexistent parents. There are a whole lot of folks who never had a decent relationship demonstrated for them so they have a template for one of their own.
Not many boys are raised to be gentlemen, or men in general and far too many girls are not taught to be a lady. A situation ripe for disaster in relationships.
When someone says that they’re going to kill you, believe them. And take appropriate action to defend yourself.
