Also, Russia received zero grams of uranium from the Clinton uranium deal. I have no idea why people keep saying they did; but as soon someone posts that I know they have no idea what they are talking about. There were numerous other problems including the naked bribery of the Sec State and potential compromise of security issues related to uranium deal but the Russians never received or were ever supposed to receive any uranium. Many of the things I see posted about the deal are completely wrong, far too many to bother refuting. But the idea that we sent uranium at any time to Russia is completely nutty. Russia produces about 500 times the quantity of Uranium that the US does annually.
In fact the US IMPORTED 15,500 metric tons of uranium from Russia 1993-2013 under the megatons to megawatts program initiated by Bush senior. The purpose of the program was to prevent enriched uranium from nuclear bombs falling into the hands of bad state and non-state actors. It also provided some source material to the US power industry and provided a wealth of intelligence.
This is a shit ton of Uranium. More than all of US production in the history of Uranium mining.

I have believed the sale of uranium to Russia for years. Now I find out I was wrong. I’m man enough to admit it. I just keep in mind that Bill and Hillary were, and are, more than willing to bend over a barrel for the right price.
