Report: Inmates Driving Idaho Student Killer Bryan Kohberger ‘Crazy’ with Incessant Taunts
Amy Furr
The man convicted of brutally killing four University of Idaho students in 2022 is reportedly being harassed by fellow prison inmates.Bryan Kohberger, who is being housed at the Idaho Maximum Security Institution in Kuna, is facing taunts from other inmates who reportedly shout through the vents into his cell where he is in solitary confinement, the Daily Mail reported on Tuesday.
Chris McDonough, a retired homicide detective who is now with the Cold Case Foundation, told the outlet the noise is “driving him crazy” because it is nearly non-stop.
He said Kohberger is “extremely annoyed and frustrated” by the reported behavior and “He’s complaining to the authorities that he can’t sleep because of them.”
According to the New York Post, McDonough also said the inmates were aware he was coming to the facility.
“The inmates were apparently waiting for him. And when he got there, they are now making his life absolutely miserable,” he added.

Bryan Buttburger has many new friends. I doubt if he will make it to Halloween.
Such a gadfly, he keeps showing up in places where he is not gladly received
Mental torment by other criminals will probably make his continued existence on this earth short an miserable.
Oh well…
The subway dude is going to have a hard time fighting his agg assault charges since the entire situation from his verbally aggressive “speech” to the sammich tossing was on video. I hope he enjoys his felony record once he gets out. Clear case of FAFO.
I’m gonna have to look into that Winchester SPX. That’s sexy!!
I agree.
But I’ll stick with the Mossy 88 I have for now.
The SXP is a pretty decent shotgun. They’re made in Turkey (I call mine my “turkey gun”), but while I wouldn’t buy a Turkish Benelli clone, they’ve come a long way in modern firearms manufacturing in recent years. My Caniks are made in Turkey as well and I’ve yet to have any issues with them.
The SXP is based on the 1300 design, and comes in all sorts of sizes and colors. Bass Pro carries a lot, from the FDE version with top rail and muzzle device to 28″ hunting guns. I bought the Woodland version with an 18″ barrel. I might have put a round or two through it in the back yard but haven’t put it through its paces yet. It’s the same size as the 1200 I’ve owned and relied on for years, holds fewer shells than the 590A1, is bigger than the pistol grip 1300, and lacks the classic feel of the 1897. I own at least 15 12-gauge shotguns, but if I bought another pump, another SXP would be considered due to the price and number of variations available.
I spent a lot of time in Turkey. They are big fans of shotguns there. I have a Panzer Arms AR-12. It’s fun to play with. I need to get some mags that have more than 5 round capacity. BUT, a 10 round mag for that gun is about 12” long.
BTW, I absolutely enjoyed Turkey. However, that was pre Erdogan .
