Department of Justice investigating voter rolls-Seeking noncitizens
Pam Bondi, Attorney General, directed the Department of Justice to probe nationwide election actions. Specifically, Bondi wants voter rolls reviewed for the purpose of identifying noncitizens on state voter rolls. A DOJ official told Fox News that clean voter rolls are important for election integrity. The official further identified some states who had not complied with proper election law regarding who is allowed to vote.
From Fox News:
Some states, like Wisconsin and Utah, shared recent election-related correspondence they had with the DOJ on state websites. New Hampshire’s Republican secretary of state rejected a request to provide the DOJ with a statewide database of voters, saying laws do not allow the state to do that.
The department sent more unusual demand letters to numerous local election offices in California, asking for extensive personal data about any noncitizens who ended up on voter registration lists.
At least one of the recipients, Orange County, resisted the request, prompting the DOJ to sue. Attorneys for the county responded that county election officials were authorized under federal law to withhold sensitive information about voters.
The flurry of activity stems from an executive order Trump signed in March tasking the attorney general with coordinating with states on election integrity, which has been a top priority for him since his 2020 election loss. Trump ordered the DOJ to review how states manage their voter registration lists, enter into information-sharing agreements with the states, aid states with prosecuting election-related crimes, and punish uncooperative states where possible.
Several Democrat-led states sued over the order, and a federal judge in Massachusetts temporarily blocked parts of it, saying “the Constitution does not grant the President any specific powers over elections.” The DOJ is appealing the ruling.
Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., blasted the DOJ’s efforts, suggesting they were designed to hinder racial minorities’ ability to vote.
“These efforts, made under the guise of combating fraud, will disproportionately endanger voters of color, low-income communities, and active-duty military personnel,” Durbin said.
Trump has frequently voiced his grievances about voter fraud, saying it is widespread and that illegal immigrants are voting, but there is scant evidence to support those claims.

Un-uh, David Becker told them this all wasn’t true and he would never tell lies.
Ahhh yes… remove those who are not qualified to vote and immediately it’s “to block minorities from voting.”
Shame on the dumbass voters who believe in that horseshit..
To the aptly named DICK Durbin: how does reviewing voter rolls keep active duty military from voting? He assumes that non-whites (and lets just use that instead instead any other terms or initials because Dems divide the world into white & non-whites) are mostly criminals and have something to hide.
I absolutely believe that people in this country have given up on free thought and believe that they are to believe what they are told to believe. The majority anyway!
There are fringes.
It’s easier to not have to THINK!
Color, race, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, etc. has NOTHING to do with it!
Take me for instance: I have raised 3 Mexican kids (one is now lesbian) a black kid, 3 white kids and have an Indian wife. I don’t care who they love as long as they are loved back. I’ll defend them and theirs just the same.
STOP voting for who you THINK that you are SUPPOSED to vote for who represents your interests the best!!
It takes thought!
It ain’t easy. It sucks. There are liars out there. Try to be smart about your future as well as that of your family.
Please tell me that it hasn’t always been this way, and that I have evolved into a curmudgeon!!!!!!!!
Please,,,,
Aww gee whiz, would they be hiding something? Let’s not forget what we saw after the 2016 election when some third-party candidate decided to have a recount of the vote in Michigan where they found barge loads of discrepancies and *whoops!*, it suddenly stopped. That and let’s not forget that the perpetually deep-blue voting locales where they have NO Voter ID laws in place, and let’s not forget Milwaukee in 1994, the D-rats were caught ferrying homeless from one precinct to another to vote, then giving them cigarettes and “40’s” as payment.
Ah, election integrity is a threat to Democrats’ chances of election success…
We’ve come a long way towards ending some of the nonsense stuff plaguing our society, when will the tide turn on this soft racism crap? I am sick to death of these White Saviors and their virtue signaling. We know why politicians do it, but the pathetic nobodies who nod along like bobble heads? I can’t wrap my head around ostensibly educated people not recognizing the racism inherent in their actions and attitudes.
Back in the day, when the TV show was on, I never found Mr. Roper funny. He was always more than a little creepy to me. That was before this Mr. Roper look-a-like looked like him…whom I’ve always found creepy as well. I don’t know what exactly it is, and I can’t quite explain the feeling every time I’ve had to be in his presence. It’s so strong, I even have visceral reaction to his face or voice on TV.
What I do know is Dick is aptly named. “Useful” to some while being (ego) stroked but leaving a mess at the end.

Sheer. Freaking. Poetry. Bravo!
thank you, I’m here all week
Very well played indeed.
Maybe Durbin needs a box of these. Seems appropriate.
my vet has these!
This country used to have a sense of humor. People weren’t offended by everything and more importantly didn’t look for a reason to be offended. I pray we get back to where I grew up in the 80s and we ALL actually got along.
(OK, maybe not ALL, but mostly! And the ones that didn’t, were the weird ones!)
And, May God Bless You Ma’am!

I don’t trust voter rolls any more than I trust any other roll.
Drivers license, passport and especially real fuckin ID which
I decline and draw the line.
My DD-214 used to be on a wallet size card back years ago.
Now I got so many cards I had to buy a bigger wallet.
The last thing I would trust is a voter roll. Geez.
Washington state is 100% vote by mail. 3 years ago a 2 bedroom home was discovered to have 15 registered voters. Majority legislature is “D”
I know of at least one instance of a non-citizen being registered to vote and I know how it happened and upon my discovery we fixed it.
My wife’s two sisters and their families immigrated to this country from the Philippines in 2023 culminating a 20+ year process. The lived with us upon arrival as they settled in. Part of the settling in process included getting Green Cards, Social Security cards, Driver’s Licenses etc. My 18-year-old nephew obtained the latter and unknown to him the DMV clerk registered him to vote. When a post card arrived at the house telling him what/what his voting loacation was. I saw it and he and I went down to the board of elections and corrected the matter. This error occurred with one out of seven family members. That 14% of a very limited sample size. My 12 year old nephew doesn’t have a license yet.
