Houston Father Shoots Son in Leg After Alleged Threats During Family Dispute
By Elliott Greene
On Tuesday night, a Houston father reportedly shot his adult son in the leg after the son became belligerent and threatened him. KHOU reports that the altercation took place at a home on Arbor Street and, according to the Houston Police Department, the son was drinking heavily and has a history of violence, including an incident where he broke his father’s arm last year. The situation got worse when the son threatened his father, saying, “I’m going to put you under,” which the father understood as a death threat.
Witnesses attested to the son breaking a mirror and advancing towards the family’s dog before targeting his father.
The father, in his early 70s, initially fired a warning shot with his pistol but, was forced to shoot his son in the leg when the latter continued his aggressive approach, according to FOX 26 Houston.

Instant asshole, just add alcohol. Thanks, Gun Bunny.
The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws.

Dad shot the son in the leg in self defense?
Guess who’s being written out of ol’ dad’s will?
A real “Family Affair”, Tox? Sly was unavailable for comment but I’m sure that his cousin, Hack, will be along before the day is out. Now…did the gud boi take a mirror to a gunfight? Maybe he shoulda used it to take a good long look at himself before threatening the doggo…and dear old dad? Most appropos the article came from “Hoodline”…after all…it is Houston.
We, The People, made one (1) page of laws for grubermint. Too bad they don’t want to follow them.
God Bless Mr. Stoner.
Escort duty/provision run today, Girls and Boys. May and/or may not be around for the dropping of the TAH Friday Weekend Open Thread. The competition could be…well…Open. May the odds be ever in your favor.
I’ve known some good fathers whose children went really bad. That stinkin’ “Free Will” and sin nature are still in play.
I feel for the father(s) who have to shoot their own children. Time to practice some tough love, prosecute to the full extent of the law, and let the kid hit rock bottom. He may or may not change his ways, but he has to make that choice.
Mr. Stoner done good with his design.
I think it would be difficult to shoot one’s son. Some kids turn out bad, even with good parenting. Some people are just A-holes and there’s no fixing that. Really a difficult position to be in when you have to shoot your kid. Better than killing him and feeling bad the rest of your life. Hopefully the kid will realize that he’s got problems and decide to change. Before the old man has to put him down next time.
