Caution.

The victim survived the unprovoked hatchet attack. The attacker, Mr. Veniale, had less luck with a knife against a pair of LEOs. Thanks again to Gun Bunny and Old Tanker for today’s links.

Wasp freeze or oven spray, really? I’ll take a straight-claw framing hammer and a flashlight in the 1000+ lumen class, thanks.

You would think the felons here in Ohio would remember that we have constitutional carry now. But it is Akron, so what do you expect?

Seems like the people of Kent should bring back hangings in the town square.

This is not hyperbole. I mean that literally, deliberately, without reservations, moral or legal.

These days it appears vigilante justice is a lot closer to real justice.

Hanging? Dude, I want them to bring back public crucifixion.

The positive aspect of Javeone’s demise is that he will not be a recidivist.

I have met a homeschooled young man, younger than the fellow in the NC story, who can hold his own in USPCA competitions with adults.

It sounds like the young man in NC knew the attacker and knew what he needed to do to stop him.

I hope he gets the counseling he needs to help him cope, but it is a good lesson in teaching your children/grandchildren about firearms.

The Ohio perps got filled with “O”s when they said hi with guns in their hands.

I like my Estwing framing hammer. Don’t want to use it in a self defense situation, but it would get the job done.
