Sheriff’s Office: Man found dead in Cocke County accused of breaking into residence

by: Hope McAlee
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Cocke County Sheriff’s Office has released more information about what led to deputies finding a man dead Saturday morning as they were responding to a possible shooting.

CCSO initially shared that deputies responded to the scene in the 300 block of Buda Road around 8:41 a.m. When they arrived, the deputies found one person deceased.

Fatal shooting at Seymour apartment complex under investigation
Saturday evening, the sheriff’s office identified the deceased as Tondre Hines, 33. Witnesses told deputies that Hines broke into a camper on Buda Road that was an occupied residence, the sheriff’s office said in a release.

The release continues to say that witnesses said Hines began fighting with individuals in the camper, and as he “started at” one of the individuals, a shot was fired at him.

Essentially a light rifle in .450/400 Nitro Express? You zero it; I found AW1 Rod’s No. 1 in 30.06 quite brutal enough. Thanks to our own Gun Bunny for the links today.

AW1 Rod

Caldwell Rock BR Ambidextrous Adjustable Bench Rest. Makes zeroing (even cannons like the .450/400 Nitro Express) quick and relatively painless.

Graybeard

The zeroing may be “relatively” painless, but the anticipation flinch I know I would have makes that thing totally useless to me.

Much like these perps that made more life choices.

Tuesday FGS…

I’ll handle my job later this week, or not. Truck overheated on the way in yesterday, so I called off. I was planning to be on the way to work time meow, but we got some ice, and the truck heater isn’t working. So, called off again.

It’s a shame… I try to be a good employee but I’m not. I know I can make more and deal with less elsewhere, or maybe I can just prove myself unemployable and file for SSDI; after all, they’re taking nearly $50 a paycheck out for OASDI anyway. Well, I think I saw that, the phone’s turned off and I’m napping soon.

I have a sneaking suspicion but decided to look up the now-deceased Tondre. I found this instead: MADtv Coach Hines Ice Cream Shop (youtube.com)

MADtv was hilarious.

Ah, the high school days. Watching it live on broadcast TV, locked in my room with a lip of cherry shoal, being an edgy teenager douchebag.

Man, to go back… (not really tho)

I never watched much MADtv back in the day and was honestly surprised when I saw Key and Peele in that sketch. I did enjoy MTV’s The State, and of course some of the cast of that show went on to star in Reno 911. Then you have the long-running and (in my opinion) shadow of its former self SNL, which in the ’90s was probably in its heyday. I had a VHS with classic clips from the ’70s and early ’80s, with the likes of John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, and Chevy Chase, but those missed the comedic mark of the early ’90s skits with Mike Myers, Chris Farley, and Rob Schneider, at least with me.

Wastes of opportunity…

These people could have let nature take its rightful course:

But now, due to the irreverent nature of my neighbors, things like this are more likely:

KoB

Tondre found himself in another camp ground. Probably much warmer for him there.

Invader found himself with some hard knox. Maybe he shoulda knoxed FIRST (ht2 ARL)

May their chains rest lightly.

Mr. Ruger, and his #1, is Number 1 with a lot of folks. No reason for 1 to be the loneliest number that there ever was. (ht2 3 dog night)

The guy in Knoxville found hisself in quite a Cocke-up.
He won’t be making that mistake again.

This isn’t a FGS (ymmv):

Found on Google maps the below photo of destruction.

Am I to believe that Space Force failed to see a ballistic missile launch in IRoI, CENTCOM failed to push that info to Israeli MoD for them to notify their assets?
Time of flight has got to be 20+ minutes, right?
More questions than answers, aka bullshit.

I don’t know about you but it’s getting a little WW3-y out there.
