Regarding the “Now they’re coming for William Penn…”
I read that the Department of the Interior has withdrawn its decision to remove the statue after the public backlash it received.
Expect for the statue to be removed this Friday towards the end of the day, just before the long weekend. It won’t become a news story again until a couple of weeks later.
Hopefully there’s enough citizens in the area to be able to post a rotating shift of guards (with a ready phone tree) to make sure The Gooberment DOESN’T sneak in at midnight to remove Will Penn’s statue.
