Russ Reed
Brockton police say the alleged gunman who shot a man inside the Ocean State Job Lot in the Massachusetts city surrendered to police Monday.

The shooting happened at about noon Sunday at 105 Campanelli Industrial Drive, which is the address for the Ocean State Job Lot.

Police said emergency medical services personnel transported the victim to an area hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

According to police, the man was shot after he allegedly pulled a knife during a dispute with an employee. Officials said the shooting victim is in police custody at the hospital where he’s being treated.

Investigators identified the gunman, and he surrendered Monday morning.

Wrong victim. It’s Massachusetts so of course the thug/citizen roles are reversed.

Domestic violence, burglary suspect shot in northwest Fresno identified

He has just been identified by authorities as 57-year-old Daniel Molano.

Fresno police responded to this call shortly before 2 pm Sunday near Shaw and Polk Avenues.

They say a couple was in a fight in a car.

Officers say the driver tried to escape by running into a nearby home, where the resident shot him.

Wrong house.

Thanks again Gun Bunny.

In a lifetime among cops since, I’ve noted that investigators who piece together the aftermaths of home invasion murders tend to keep their guns on all the time after that, even when off duty in their own house, and keep them by the bed when they go to sleep. They have learned from the helplessly-murdered dead.

Another knife to a gunfight…*sigh* We simply MUST increase the production/distribution of the TAH Coffee Table Book…

Don’ run from the popo…you’ll just go to jail or end up WRT/DRT tired.

“…tend to keep their guns on all the time…” Good advice for anyone.

Would our Beloved AW1Ed be showing off one of his personal favorite Hand Cannons? Only those that have been paying attention know for sure.

Unfortunately, especially with these Soros-bought DA’s, flight equals guilt.

I didn’t have to be a Homicide or Robbery Detective to learn that the best way to deal with a home invasion is to be armed, at home. Gotta love pocket carry. Get dressed and it’s with you all day long. No further need to remember to get equipped before leaving the house either.

With what I prefer to carry, I’d have to have BIG pockets. I prefer a holster (IWB/OWB) on my belt.

I’ve been carrying a little double-action S/S 6 shot .380 for many years (since I retired in ’93). I have it loaded with Federal Premium Hydra-Shok 90 gr. JHP. Let’s face it…bullet construction and bullet placement can make a .380 look like the results from a .44 mag. I live on Long Island NY and I don’t “leave home without it!!”

Skivvy Stacker

I like to carry my S&W .38 (5 shot) in a pocket holster (Galco C229) for added safety around the trigger, and easily slips out when I draw.

Liright

I’ve had a mdl. 36 for many years but carry the above-described .380 due to its concealability. Whether on my hip or ankle, it’s not seen.
