Mid-City armed robbery leads to 1 robbery suspect shot, second suspect on the run, NOPD reports
It is unclear who the robbery suspects were attempting to rob or if the victim was the one who shot the suspect in the robbery.

NEW ORLEANS — An attempted armed robbery in Mid-City ends with one of the robbery suspects shot while a second robbery suspect is still at large.It happened in the 4700 block of Canal Street at about 1:54 a.m. Sunday.
According to an initial NOPD report, a male victim was found at the scene with a reported gunshot wound to the hand.
Detectives say the man with the gunshot wound is one of two suspects in the armed robbery attempt. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. The second suspect fled the scene when the shooting happened police say.
As of now, no arrests have been made.
It is unclear who the robbery suspects were attempting to rob or if the victim was the one who shot the suspect in the robbery.

Homeowner shoots 2 suspects breaking into vehicle in DeKalb County neighborhood, police say
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A shooting investigation is underway in a DeKalb County neighborhood.
DeKalb County police told Channel 2 Action News at 2:35 a.m. Monday, officers received reports of a person shot at a home on Leicester Way SE.
When officers arrived, they found two people who had been shot.
The identities and conditions of the shooting victims have not been released.
Police believe two people were breaking into cars when a homeowner confronted them.
One of the suspects raised a gun and pointed it at the homeowner and the homeowner shot both suspects.

$1500 for a fugly lever when I could spend less than that for a Henry Long Ranger or the Ruger M1895 in a man’s caliber…I think not. I appreciate the utility but for once, aesthetics and cost rule.
