A few more Biden actions

| August 28, 2023

It’s been a busy week for Biden-admin-watchers… here are a few of the more egregious items:

First up, a Federal Judge in Texas rejected Governor Abbott’s claim that the infamous orange river balls are needed to stop an “invasion”, essentially saying that describing the immigration influx as an invasion is “politics”.

“This is a United States district court. It’s not Congress. It’s not the president,” Senior U.S. Judge David Alan Ezra told lawyers for the state of Texas and the U.S. Justice Department during a hearing Tuesday, ahead of an upcoming trial. The Justice Department sued the state after Republican Gov. Greg Abbott refused to remove the buoys. “I am not here to engage in any type … of political comment in this decision.”  Yahoo News

Y’all do realize this buoy-barrier is 1000 feet long? That’s roughly 1/10,000 of the border… oh, and Texas remains defiant.

And not that we are shocked – after all, we know that anything to do with the environment gives those folks wood – they have already weighed in on stoves and water heaters – next up, ceiling fans.  One of Biden’s environmental flunkies said new regulations are a’comin’, which will SAVE YOU MONEY! Turns out to be about $4 a year in electric cost, and you know they will make fan prices skyrocket… but you’ll use less electric!  Permit me to smile.

This proposed rule would decrease the maximum estimated energy consumption permissible for large diameter and belt driven ceiling fans,” committee Republicans wrote. “This rule would require numerous small business fan manufacturers to redesign their products and may put between 10 and 30 percent of small business ceiling fan manufacturers out of business. The Hill

Oh, and they guesstimate the manufacturers will need to spend around $87 million to retool to comply. The annual electric savings is supposed to be a bit under $290 million – wait for it, there are about 330 million of us. So maybe a few bucks a household. If that.

And while we are on the subject of regulatory over-reach:

President Biden’s alcohol czar says Americans may be told by officials to have no more than two beers a week.

Director of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) George Koob told the Daily Mail on Thursday that the U.S. may follow Canada’s footsteps on alcohol guidelines.

Currently, American guidelines recommend men limit themselves to two drinks per day while women should only have one drink. The American recommendations are up for review in 2025.

Canada’s guidelines recommend only having two drinks per week.  The Hill

Last but not least, the DOJ seems to have set its eye on Elon Musk.  Space-X is telling refugees that they only want to “hire American”.

SpaceX has come under fire from the DoJ regarding claims of deliberately excluding refugees and people granted asylum from getting jobs at the company

Musk claims the move would have caught SpaceX in international arms trafficking violations  Forbes

Getting investigated by the United States Department of Justice for trying to hire legal Americans only. If that doesn’t put it all in a nutshell…

Sometimes I wonder, who is really running the gruberment behind the curtains…
Who is the puppet master?

By the kind of stupid shit they focus on, I wouldn’t be surprised if a recent college graduate with zero life experience is making all the decisions.

KoB

Who is the puppet master?” 0bl0wme and s0r0s.

The march to “…fundamentally change the face of Amerika” continues.

Prepare….the fourth box…it will be needed…soon!

Don’t forget Biden also unloaded the truth on the Inflation Reduction Act as well.

Odie

And the greatest election fraud apparatus in the history of America.

I may have paraphrased some, but that was the general statement.

My response on the two beer/week thing:

Home Despot has 5 gallon buckets pretty cheap, and hardware to add a mug handle.

Question:

Does this mean What’s Its Name can only drink one Bud Lite a day versus two?

Dylan Mulvaney Mocks Bud Light Controversy While Criticizing ‘Transphobia And Hate’ At Awards Speech”

https://www.foxnews.com/media/dylan-mulvaney-mocks-bud-light-controversy-criticizing-transphobia-hate-awards-speech

“Dylan Mulvaney bemoaned the “extreme amount of transphobia and hate” against the transgender community while speaking at an awards show for online content creators on Sunday.”

“My life has been changed for the better,” Mulvaney said at the Streamys. “But on the flipside, there’s also been an extreme amount of transphobia and hate, and I know that my community is feeling it, and I know that even our allies are feeling it.”

Haven’t drank a Bud Light since January. I had the ones I bought for my son’s birthday in a bag on the floor and my lab, code name Bark Obama, ended up peeing on them before this happened. He hoped for change and it happened.

After the Mulvaney BS, I bought some Miller Lite. Not being much of a beer drinker these days, I had a couple, then their own shenanigans ensued, so they’re still in the man cave fridge waiting for target practice or throwing them in the fire. Speaking of which, if you can burn but not shoot, expired cans of beer are…entertaining…to throw in a fire. They eventually explode, random gushing out boiling hot beer and sounding like a gunshot, so I’ll sometimes place a few and then tell friends I dropped a couple rounds in there, so they need to stand back.

And Beer….🍺

Guys, don’t make a mountain out of a mole hill. Switch to Whiskey and you can drink as much as you want. Buy the Military Special at the Class VI and you will save MONEY over even PBR. If you drink it straight, less bathroom breaks. Mix it with some lemon sours and fewer kidney stones. It has a higher concentration of anti-oxidants than red wine.

Lawrence Brooks drank a glass a day and lived to 112.

Alcohol is useful to disinfect wounds.

Keep enough alcohol in your bloodstream and your wounds are self cleaning.

Less to lug around, really.

Immigration status and citizenship wasn’t added as a protected class until December 2022, right before the last Congress fled Washington. Of all the stupid things they did that was a top ten. Chinese can now sue to get jobs working in the defense industry.

We tried something like this around this time 100 years ago, as I recall from my reading it didn’t work out so well then.

Prohibition really never works out whether alcohol or drugs when the appetite for both in this nation exceeds available supplies.

It’s why the drug market is so successful and the attempts to curb it so useless…

Americans enjoy self-medication, to the point where it’s very lucrative for gangs and cartels to risk their lives to supply Americans with the means to self-medicate…

Hate_me

There were few periods in American history more enjoyable for the general public than when Prohibition made the average citizen a criminal.

11B-Mailclerk

Why is anyone now surprised the public votes for criminals?

You really want to save energy on ceiling fans? Here’s a simple tip: Turn them off when you ain’t in the room. Now fuck off, Joe.

26Limabeans

When I bought my place I replaced every one of them with an
overhead lamp fixture and real 100 watt incandecsent bulbs.
Screw global warming. We are not all in this together. I’m here.
You’re there. Get off my lawn.
And now that they outlawed light bulbs I’m sitting on a goldmine
of 40, 60, 100, 150 and yes even some 300 watt 240V ones.

Wanna cool off? Screw the ceiling fans. Install a thru the wall
A/C unit and not one of those magic heat pump things that look
like shit and will be gone in a few years just like those small
backyard windmills you don’t see anymore.

Odie

Worked with a guy for about 12 yes before he retired, and he had a geo thermal set up. He was always replacing some part of it about every 2 or 3 years.

Costco has 28 packs of Sam Adams Oktoberfest right now. I bought two as a patriotic statement. Now fuck off, Joe.

Guess these mom and pop gas/oil companies weren’t paying their 10% to the “Big Guy”…or giving his spawn a job. FJB

The business is big down here, and if you want to work long and hard you can make really good money. A few months back I overheard a guy (guessing early-30s) talking to a buddy he ran into at the grocery store. He told his friend he was making $65/hr. I’m not sure if he was in the gas or oil industry, but that’s over $130k/year at 40 hours and around $200k if he gets 60 hours a week with overtime.

Anyway, I digress from the big picture, so back on topic: FJB!

Odie

Repeal the 16th amendment, or put limitations on it.

No wonder the flat tax is so opposed.
