California man shot after calling cops ‘pigs’, charging them with steel bar
Video shows Adam Barcenas approaching Oxnard Police Department officers

By Andrea Vacchiano | Fox News
A California man was shot and killed Sunday after calling police officers “pigs” and running towards them with a steel bar.

Bodycam footage allegedly shows Adam Barcenas, 60, charging toward officers in Oxnard, California with a five-foot steel bar Sunday at 6 a.m.

Oxnard police officers were conducting a DUI investigation when Barcenas – who was not involved – confronted them.

Barcenas can be heard calling the officers “pigs” and yelling “I hate you” in the video.

Video shows ‘Good Samaritan’ helping NYPD take down armed suspect

Chris Pandolfo
A civilian helped stop an armed suspect Thursday, who was fleeing from police officers in New York City.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office Southern District of New York, the suspect, Jason Fleming, was arrested on March 16 after he brandished loaded firearms in broad daylight after a dispute in a bodega in Chelsea.

The suspect was arrested after a civilian, who saw him fleeing police officers with a revolver in his hand, stepped in his way and pushed him into a nearby fence. The civilian then held onto the suspect until NYPD officers were able to place him under arrest, video shows.

“As alleged, the defendant illegally brandished two loaded firearms in broad daylight on a Manhattan street, one of which was a carbine rifle, frightening numerous New Yorkers, including a child,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said. “Thanks to our law enforcement partners and the heroic efforts of a Good Samaritan, the defendant was apprehended before he could hurt anyone, and his weapons are now off the streets.”

Congrats on getting those weapons off the streets Attorney Damian Williams. Can you say the same about the thug?

Thanks for the links, Gun Bunny.

Looks like we need to add another page to the loose leaf, three ring binder “Things to NOT Bring to a Gun Fight”.
I wonder what his BEEF was with the PIGs?

Excuse me for a minute while I get my eyes back to their normal position, after that massive eye-roll.

Probably out on no bond while we speak.

Love the Marlin lever guns. Smooth as silk.
Took a Moose with my .444 a few years back.
There was some talk about not using pointy bullets in the tube
magazine but I never read anything about a real mishap.
I used Hornady 265gr Leverevolution and an empty mag anyway.
Didn’t need a second shot and my partner was backing me up.
Still. easy move to just drop another round in the open breech.
Hope to win another permit this year and do it all over again.

I had one in 45-70. Heavy loads are close to a shoulder fired howitzer. Tamer loads are very manageable in that beautiful rifle. I miss it a lot.

Only rifle I ever bought back is an 1895 .45-70. Wonderful rifle. Started a 40 year love affair with .45-70s

The video is heart warming and made me feel good on this otherwise blah and un-spring-like Monday morning.

I love how he walks off right after the subject is in custody. Meh, it’s just another Monday. That is how a MAN rolls.

“Steel” yourself for what’s coming nut job. Suicide by cop? Mission accomplished!

BZ citizen on blocking the open field run. Now let’s hope that the citizen is not charged with assault by Mr. Flemming.

Benito, meet lamp post.

Loved my Marlin 336. I grieve for my loss, still, today.

The gentleman with the steel pole was looking to commit suicide.
His wish was granted.
That same guy was convicted of elder abuse in 2019, and served 3 years of a 6 year sentence…he got out on what; good behavior? THAT didn’t last long.
