Journalist, biased against Trump, complained about negative economic coverage under Biden
Margaret Sullivan, Washington Post columnist, recently penned a column complaining about the negative economy related coverage under Biden. She lamented the lack of coverage of the low unemployment numbers, and further complained that many did not see this “good news”.
This is the same Margaret Sullivan who, on February 23, 2020, and on November 8, 2020, wrote articles complaining about the lack of criticism against Trump in the media. In contrast to her complaint about ignoring the good economic numbers under Biden, she had no problems ignoring hard evidence exonerating Trump from what he was impeached for. She also ignored Donald Trump facts related to what was good news for the country.

“The unemployment rate is at an encouragingly low point. Less than 4 percent of the labor force is actively seeking work. And the latest monthly Labor Department report showed another healthy spike in the number of new jobs,” Sullivan wrote. “But if you ask regular Americans about the jobs climate, a surprising number of them seem to think the opposite is true.”
“This lack of knowledge matters. Political fortunes rise and fall in part on the health of the job market,” she added. “So whose fault is it? Is it people who can’t be bothered to pay attention to the news, let alone the world around them? … Or does the blame fall squarely on the news media for not delivering the news in a way that everyone can easily absorb?”
Sullivan cited other liberal media critics in claiming Biden had received “pretty negative” news coverage throughout his time in office, and that it revolved around the media’s “addiction to conflict” and “desire for a cohesive narrative,” despite record-high inflation and gas prices.
“The public’s lack of knowledge on jobs ought to sound an alarm bell for journalists,” Sullivan wrote. “If we’re putting information out there, truthfully and in real time, and people aren’t getting it, some significant share of the blame falls on us.”

And her statement is disengenuous anyway, because a lot of people simply stopped looking for work and are riding the welfare gravy train.
Moreover, before the pandemic put people out of work as the economy shut down, the Trump admin posted the best employment numbers in the past 20 years, especially for minorities. The Black unemployment rate was the lowest in over twelve years, including the entire 0bama regime.
In other words, the American people are just too effing stupid to realize the genius of the Biden Harris Administration. The only solution is to remove the option for Americans to choose their officials and let the Enlightened Ones bestow their benevolence upon the unwashed masses and appoint our “leaders”.

Last year this time it was $2.49 a gallon (regular unleaded was $1.79). I hit the K Roger in the little big town and bought some items that I purchase on a regular basis. Total bill was $140.00. Last year this time that same total was $98 & some change. And we won’t even talk about the natural gas bill to keep Firebase Magnolia Quarters warm.

They know that inflation is rampant and higher than they’ve seen in four decades.
They know that the government keeps printing and dumping worthless money into to the economy.
They know that the government deficit and debt continue to soar out of control.
They know that the cost of everything required in and for their day-to-day lives – including and especially food/groceries and energy/gas – has increased, and has resulted in their quality of life and personal finances decreasing.
They know that there’s an on-going, near-crisis level manufacturing and distribution/supply chain problem in America. All while their wages aren’t increasing/keeping up with inflation.

The job numbers are flawed and only part of the damn equation. How many of those ‘fully employed’ are working part time (Uber, deliveries, Avon, drug dealing, whatever) gigs to tread water? We all know that 1 job + 1 part-time or 2 part-time = 2 ‘full employed’, right?
