From Black Hawk to bombshell

Retired US Army Aviator Jana Tobias

KoB sends in the latest from a fan favorite, the Pin-ups for Vets Calendar. Among this year’s twelve lovely ladies is retired Army Black Hawk pilot Jana Tobias. Fox News has a bit about her;

Jana Tobias was eager to suit up in a completely different way.

The veteran, who served in the Army as a Black Hawk pilot, is one of 12 women who swapped their uniforms and combat boots for ‘40s style dresses and high heels, for the 16th annual Pin-Ups for Vets 2022 calendar. The award-winning nonprofit, founded in 2006 by California resident Gina Elise, raises funding to support hospitalized and deployed troops.

“I try to follow as many veteran organizations as possible,” Tobias told Fox News. “I came across Pin-Ups for Vets on Facebook and I was just intrigued. I’ve always loved the 1940s, not because of the clothes, but really the nose art. I’m in aviation, so that has always fascinated me. It was also a time when our country was going through hardship and war. And yet, we as Americans did whatever was possible to motivate and uplift our troops, so they can keep going. I felt like I could contribute.”

The 44-year-old’s journey is one made fit for the silver screen. As a child, she was enamored with G.I. Joe and the 1984 action film “Red Dawn,” about how a group of teenagers band together to defend their country from invading Soviet forces.

“I grew up with four brothers,” she chuckled. “My father always treated me like one of the boys. He didn’t treat me special because I was a girl. He taught me everything, including fishing, camping, hiking – whatever else my brothers were doing. We also wrestled. I felt like I could do anything that my brothers could do. My father also served at the National Guard so service was essential in my family.”

Here’s a quick video of the former pilot;

And here’s the release announcement for 2022 calendar;

So go get yours. It’s for charity.

I’m afraid that the topic is NSFW – Not Safe for Wife to see me looking at.

LMAO at that Graybeard.
My sister doesn’t want to buy one for her 70+ years old husband because he would be lusting over the girls. Fer Christ Sakes folks, they are mimicking WW-II Nose Art, not some Pole Smoking Stripper.

We used to hang a Snap-On Tools calendar in the HT Shop. Then some jackass in my division decided he wanted the girls for himself and cut out all their pictures. The Chief was not too happy since it was his calendar.

I have been supporting Pin Ups For Vets since 2014. Their date pages have large blocks for each day, allowing me to use them for upcoming appointments, entering pertinent information, etc. A Diary as it were. I buy on for myself, plus more for others, either friends or just to have Gina Elise send to the troops that are “downrange”. PUFV offers much more than just calendars. I have bought decals, posters, mugs and more.

2 of the Pin Ups for Vets appeared
at our Homeless Veterans campaign in November 2019.

Megan is still with Pin Ups. (Same photo from 2019)
They were great, and their presence led to
additional bucket drop street donations.

Afterwards, Pin Ups for Vets owner/founder donated $5,000
for rehab unit equipment at our local VA hospital.

A lot of Classy Chassis here! Some real nice vehicles, too. Give me a mature, real woman anyday. Soft with curves, class and beauty, that ain’t dressed like she’s going to Wally World…or “clubbing”. Damn an anorexic, bubble gum popping airhead. Would be nice if she cooks too. Making a sammich is a form of cooking, right?
