‘I put a gun on his face’: Neighbor stops home invasion

By Shane Healy
Albert Manansala heard a commotion going on at a neighbor’s home in Dededo on a recent Monday morning.

He looked through a window and saw a man trying to force himself into the house.

“I grabbed my gun and I went and made sure that the front area was clear, because you don’t know how many are there. Then I ran back and I saw him and I chased him,” Manansala recalled.

Manansala then did what he prayed he would never have to do.

“I put a gun on his face and I said ‘I want to see your hands, let me see your hands, I don’t want to shoot you today,’” Manansala said.

I wonder what the first resident used to shoot the home invader with. Hit multiple times. Obviously stopped the threat until the Police were able to get there.

Glad the second incident did not require the neighbor to go through the trauma of shooting the perp. In a way he got lucky twice. The bad guy didn’t assault him and he didn’t have to fire on him.

Maybe the Philly perp shoulda came in thru the bathroom window…and protected himself with a silver spoon. Now it won’t be his thumb he’ll be sucking in wonder… BZ to the homeowner for fighting back, but get you some range time there Citizen.

Good on Manansala for manning up and doing the manly thing to protect the neighbor(hood). Looks like Eric, “The Should be Dead”, will become a guest of the neighborhood gray bar hotel…for a little while, maybe.

Cute little Bay Rhetta flipper upper you gots there Mister. Reminds me of a novelty cigarette lighter I had back yonder. Least it’s made of metal…As God and JMB (Howitzer Be His Name) intended.

Just watched last night an episode of “The First 48” where a pavement thug attempted to rob a homeless guy and shot him twice with one of those little Beretta .22 pistols. Needless to say, the guy died. Don’t let anyone tell you a little .22 pistol is not deadly.

Sgt K

That model of Beretta was the murder weapon on an episode of “Forensic Files” last night. They got the bad guy.

I have a Tomcat, nice little pistol, if a bit heavier and bulkier than the Kel-Tec P32.
