Tulsi Defends Rittenhouse
Tulsi Gabbard (D- HI)
Former U.S. Congresswoman and 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, of Hawaii, has spoken out against the trial of 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse.
Gabbard is a US Army Reserve Officer and Iraq war veteran. She served in U.S. Congress from 2013 to 2021.
In a video statement, Gabbard defended Rittenhouse, saying, “With no evidence, MSM & antifa-loving politicians immediately labeled Rittenhouse a white supremacist terrorist. It’s obvious now that he was just a foolish kid who felt he needed to protect people & the community from rioters & arsonists because the government failed to do so.”
This from a big D politician and former Bernie supporter.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard defended Kyle Rittenhouse and slammed the political left during an interview on Thursday evening over their reaction to the judge in the case.
“We remember very clearly that immediately after this incident, this tragedy occurred with Kyle Rittenhouse, the mainstream media, pro-Antifa politicians were very quick to say this kid is a white supremacist terrorist,” Gabbard told Lawrence Jones III on “Fox News Primetime.”
“The government absolutely failed to fulfill this most basic responsibility of keeping their community safe,” Gabbard continued. “Kyle Rittenhouse shouldn’t have gone and done what he did. But … you know, he’s a foolish kid who, like others in the community felt like they had no other choice but to step up and to try to do their part to keep people safe.”
One wonders why Tulsi is choosing the Rittenhouse case to decry the obvious- the far left is in control of the Democrat party and the main stream media. The cynic in me is expecting a fresh campaign for office in her near future, and the Manchin-like blue dog Democrat is her model. Well, I had the “privilege” of watching that whole riot thing take place through the benefits of online up close & live video stuff.
And my first response was that Rittenhouse was a well-meaning but dumb kid who, at 17, decided to cross the IL/WI state line and carry a gun WITHOUT AN ADULT TO ACCOMPANY HIM. That goes against Wisconsin state gun laws. Period.
2nd, the videos showed HIM being hassled and then attacked by the people he shot, so I’m still terming it self-defense, but even so, why was he NOT accompanied by an adult????????
3rd, the people he shot at went after him. He was trying to leave and even when he did find a clear path, there is a video that shows him being chased by others – AGAIN. When you run from an assailant, you trigger the prey instinct, which we all have.
This is why I view this entire business as crap that the Lefturds will grind to a powder, just to keep us from exercising our rights to own weapons IF WE CHOOSE TO DO SO.
He did not bring that AR across state lines. It was already in WI. That was conceded at the trial. Also, Kyle’s father lives in Kenosha; Kyle works there and he goes to that high school. Kyle resides with his Mother just twenty miles from Kenosha, but just across the border. You have been believing MSM lies. He wasn’t some stranger to the town like the rioters.

Judge says otherwise and dropped the gun charges.
Wis. Stat. § 948.60(2)(a). These restrictions only apply to a person under age 18 who possesses or is armed with a rifle or a shotgun if the firearm is a short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun, or if the person is not in compliance with the hunting regulations set forth in Wis. Stat. §§ 29.304 and 29.591
So yeah, dropped charges.
I watched the cucks that call themselves prosecutors admit the rifle was not a short barreled rifle and not even object to judge’s dismissal of that gun possession charge. Moreover, I watched a WI attorney lay out an analysis of that statute and why Kyle was legally entitled to carry that rifle that night. Actually, the illegal firearms carriers where the the antifastani/BLM rioters like Grosskruetz and the pedo rapist’s sidekick who fired the first shots.
It isn’t like Grosskreutz would slap his grandmother around or get away with murder.
Because the truth is this; if they were in the middle of assaulting or robbing Rittenhouse then we all know where that is going. And we are left to wonder why the prosecutor didn’t go that way. Around here I can tell you that there would be a different defendant on trial with some very similar charges.
Also, he was with several other adults out on the street who were part of his small group defending the sole remaining used car lot that had not been destroyed by the rioters.
Wrong. In the trial it was specified that that particular law refers to short barreled rifles, and his AR was not of that category. That is why that particular politically motivated charge was dropped.
The reason for the “short barreled rifle or shotgun” prohibition is because it is a violation of federal law to possess either that have barrels of less than 16 inches without their registration under the The National Firearms Act. Thus, the WI statute is merely following existing federal law.
Both those DA’s were too stupid to take five minutes to measure the barrel length, even though they have had access to the subject rifle for over fourteen months.

His home with his mother was less than 25 miles from his father’s residence in Kenosha. You want to pontificate on some more facts? Try learning some, first. Tami sucked as head of the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs (appointed by by Governor Rod Blagojevich). She attended a political campaign event for a Congressional Candidate in a state owned handicap drivable vehicle.
She was sued by 2 Veterans Homes employees after 1 was fired by her for complaining about treatment of veterans and intimidated and threatened the other employee. The AG forced a $26k settlement for the employees.
Duckworth has been a huge disappointment.
When it comes to Duckworth, I respect her Military Career and THAT’S IT.

Regarding Gabbaard, I have said this before and will again and again. Fuck her. She is up to something political, just watch. She has been attention mongering quite a bit the last few months. She was a sitting congresscreature, who quit in an insane bid for the presidency, that she must have known she had no shot for. She failed in that, and where she could have been a voice of sanity in the utterly insane mess that is the socialist democrat party, she shat that away by quitting to run for prez. Now she is just another voice in the wilderness who has no more value on anything than anyone else. Her military record is somewhat shady as well. How does a medical clerk earn a decoration for valor when they stayed in the rear? Among other odd things…

For one thing, this didn’t happen yesterday. It happened like 15 years ago. Supposedly she was an enlisted medical clerk, yet she ended up with a combat medics badge or whatever the army calls it? I understood she also got some other gongs too, but there’s very little details on it. Both she and her campaign manager have been asked about details on this, and they have consistently dodged the question. That in and of itself establishes some doubt, or she would have been screaming to the high heavens about being a war hero. but there’s no specifics of it. And when you ask those questions it’s very difficult to get answers. And you can do the same research I did.
So, “no” is the word you’re looking for.

My quick and dirty google search says her original enlistment was as a field medic, prior to OCS and commissioning in the MP Corps. I see no valor awards, unless we’re giving out MSM’s for valor now. How about a little help, Steve?

It’s my opinion that Ms. Gabbard is placing a very libertarian viewpoint on her resume. Many of her comments during her campaign for president were clearly emanating from a libertarian point of view.
If she truly believes those things she says she might very well be a face the libertarians could get behind in the next election or she could become the face of a splintered Democrat or Republican spinoff party.
She has a fairly consistent set of comments regarding the Bill of Rights protections and the importance of accountability, that sets her apart from many others on either side of the aisle these days….too many fake conservatives in favor of shit like red flag laws these days for my tastes…I think that is the appeal of Ms. Gabbard.
