Sweet Home, Chicago

Chicago Sun-Time reports that at least two people have been killed and 47 others, including eight children, have been wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday evening.

The youngest victim is a 4-year-old boy wounded Friday on the South Side. The child was inside a home about 9 p.m. in the 6500 block of South Ellis Avenue when bullets tore through the front window, striking him twice in the head, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was in critical condition.

The incessant violence doesn’t occur in a vacuum- our own OAM sends us some telling facts.

‘More details required’: Chicago radio host blasts Foxx after retired teacher shot on Dan Ryan Expressway

By Glenn Minnis

Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx is facing growing criticism following the shooting death of a retired Evergreen Park special education teacher on Illinois’ Dan Ryan Expressway, amid reports that the two men being detained were only recently released after being implicated in another shooting.

Denise M. Huguelet, 67, was leaving a Chicago White Sox game and riding with her husband and another relative when she was struck by crossfire earlier this month in the southbound lanes near 63rd Street, according to WBBM News Radio, citing reports from Illinois State Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

“Reliable source tells me the 2 men detained in the killing of the retired Orland Park special education teacher a couple weeks ago were released because Kim Foxx’s office said the suspects were shooting at others shooting at them so it was self-defense and accidental,” Chicago Morning Answer radio host Dan Proft posted on Twitter. “More details required.”

A Daily Mail report says that in her first three years in office, Foxx and her staff have dismissed more than 25,000 felony cases, including some involving murder charges.

One would think keeping criminals off the streets would reduce crime. Foxx and Lightfoot have a different idea.

Thanks, OAM.

Just a guess, but was Soros a main contributor to her campaign?
Dig deep enough, and I’ll bet he was. If there was ever a threat to this country in need of some kinetic action, that evil old Nazi is it!

Michael_in_MI

Yep. Looks like upwards of $2mil from Soros to support Foxx.

That’s no surprise at all.

We can solve the shooting problems in Chitcongo by just passing some common sense gunz control laws. Or do something about all the RAAAAYYYCISS white boyz going around shooting up gud bois who are turning their lives around, meeting Jesus, attending Junior College, and on their way to choir practice.

The weekend shootings I get on My IPN texts from chicago start on Friday and run all night and into the morning. Am able to forward these to another cell from my cell phone but can’t forward to an email address.

What amazes me Chiraq/Shotcago pol’s are always yapping about how they need stronger gun control laws to stop the shootings, yet their DA’s constantly dismiss the the federal and state gun law violations in every plea deal and turn the gangster shooters back out on the street. Seems like every convicted felon there has a gun, has shot someone, and is not locked up.

11B-Mailclerk

-they- need stronger “gun control” to stop the “crime” of contesting their reelection, thus interfering with their power and graft.

UpNorth

Fox has dismissed 25,000 felony cases in 3 years? That comes out to almost one felony dismissed every hour, 24×7.
You got what you voted for, Chiraq, live with it, if you can.

The folks in Chicago have little say in which corruptocrat gets elected.

It’s coming. Don’t kid yourself.

If we are going to invade, liberate, and “nation build” a shithole, how about Chicago?

Anytime I come across a ban-all-guns liberal, I enjoy asking them that IF Gun Control Laws are such a panacea for crime then why isn’t Chicongo a happy little utopia?

Now we know why there is a ammo shortage.
It’s all going to Chicago.

The last Republican Mayor of Chicago

Since 1999, mayoral elections have officially been nonpartisan. A 1995 Illinois law stipulated that “candidates for mayor . . . no longer would run under party labels in Chicago.” However, Richard M. Daley, Rahm Emanuel and Lori Lightfoot are known to be Democrats. In other words, The Dems are trying to get the stink of decades of corruption/one party rule and failures off their backs.
