“…approached by two young men.” No, the carjacking victim was approached by two (2) dirtbag, parasites on society, young punks. Maybe when they both hit the Ghey Bar Hotel, they will become men among men, having manly things done to them…by other men. Man up punks, “Tiny” Tyrone likes to go in dry.
Anytime we think that the FGS well has gone completely dry, good ol’ KHOU comes thru for us. It’s not like there is more self defense stories happening there, or more crime per se, it’s more that KHOU will report on it. So many news feeds have curtailed their reporting of self defense stories, or they are buried deep into the other linked stories. Anybody else see the blurb from the AP Wire Service that AP will no longer be publishing any names, ages, or race of criminals accused of various crimes? How about the blurb from a nationwide LEO that police retirements are up 45% and recruitment is down by 60%? Another article, that was buried pretty deep was a report from Black Folks in Noo Yawk Sh*tty asking for MORE police on the subway system? 3% of the 13% are doing 80% of the crime?
Nice tack driver. Jeff LPH3 grins.

Behind a gate with armed security
One reason I always go Condition Yellow-Orange when pumping gas – even tho’ I live in a rural area, having managed to escape Harris County three+ decades ago.
Amazing some of the dangfool things that one sees at a gas station in the middle of the night.
Stoner putting air in a VW tire. All the air, ever. The tire looked like a cartoon item, about double normal size. That pump would put air into my 120psi bicycle tires. We guided him to stop and let some out.
Domestic disturbance, cra-cra-lay-day pumped fuel all over a car and driver, then whipped out a lighter. Many unprintable threats to the gas-ee. Ended better than expected. No “whoosh!”.
Gas in improvised containers. How they didn’t make the news is a question for the ages.
Working night shift can open one’s eyes to a whole new world of “special” people at oh-dark-thirty.
You gotta love a Rutger Mk III bull barrel- except when you disassemble and reassemble the pistol.
I spend 3 minutes googling “Ruger MKIII
Carjacker”. If that was a model, I wanted one.
