The robbery occurred at about 7:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Metro PCS store at the corner of North Main Street and East Tallmadge Avenue. The suspect pulled out a handgun took money from the cash register, then tried to break into a safe in the store, police say.

It was then the worker pulled out his own handgun, fired several shots at the suspect, then ran from the store, according to police. When officers arrived, they found the suspect wounded in the store.

A woman told a dispatcher that she shot a man who intruded into her Bellbrook home Saturday night.

In a 9-1-1 call, the woman told a dispatcher that she was sitting in her garage when the man, the father of her child, entered her home uninvited.

“He’s never been in my house. I don’t deal with him, I don’t talk with him,” the woman said.

BCSO: Suspected burglar shot, killed by man he was attacking

Jeannie Nguyen
What was supposed to be a regular trip to the ATM for an Albuquerque man and his family, turned into a deadly shooting. However, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office believes this shooting may be justified.

A spokesperson with BCSO says so far, all the evidence in this shooting is pointing to self-defense. “We received a call from somebody in the south valley that they had seen their husband fire at least one round at an individual that had assaulted him with a machete,” says Jayme Fuller.

BCSO says it happened on Saturday night when a man’s wife called 911 to tell them her husband was being attacked by another man, while he was at the Wells Fargo ATM on Bridge near Sunset. Deputies say that attacker was 31-year-old Jaime Roman.

Deputies say Roman went after the man with a machete as he was walking back to his car with his entire family in it. At that point, the man who was attacked by Roman, fired at least one shot, killing Roman.

Right now, the Sheriff’s Office says it looks like this was a case of self-defense. “There is such thing as a justifiable homicide when it comes to self-defense, especially in the state of New Mexico,” says Fuller.

Damn! So very close! Come on fatal dose of sepsis! Brother Wilted Willy needs a trifecta of DRT on the FGS. Would have been the FIRST in a long time. But then, again, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.

    (a) Wrong number dumbass, you done dialed your way into a danger zone.

    (b) “…cause and manner of death…” ‘Cause he didn’t mind his manners and she shot his ass.

    (c) Another knife to a gun fight. You really can’t fix stoopid. Well, you actually can, one well placed bullet at a time.

“Developed in the 1890s by John Moses Browning (Hbhn)……” Even a review of a weapon put out by the oldest privately owned firearms manufacturer in the world HAS to make a reference and comparison to his Most Saintlyness. And calling that Bay-rhetta a Tomcat is most apropos in that it is a weapon that could be described using a word normally used to describe a “cat” or a type of willow tree.

Speaking of feline things, not sure on the broken linky. I will have to get lost on the AR one later. Provision run to the K Roger in the little big town is screaming. ‘Bout out of treats for Kay Kitty, Smokey, Cutie Girl, and Toe’mas. The Crown of FIRST on the TAH Friday Weekend Open Thread will be left on the Mantle Piece in the den. The other Crown is on the Mantle Piece in the kitchen next to the bar.

This was the broke linky. Not sure if it has the same info as today’s AR linky, cause, well, it’s broke!
