“Wrong house, cuz!” A lot of that going around lately, folks trying to come in…uninvited!
“…all Kenosha, all the time…” Yeah and some of these article writers musta seen some different video than we did. The stooopidity of all this ranks right up there with the lack of coverage on the 300 black on black murders in Philly so far this year. Think Philly is trying to catch up with Chiraq.
More of these fugly little guns…sigh! Miss Lady Friend did say she thought it was “cute”. Pshaw! Its only redeeming quality is it does come in a .45 caliber.
(in his best Brit accent) It’s Arms…Bond Arms!
And on the gun front, a Florida congresstwunt is intro’ing a bill next week to make gun dealers responsible for bad purchases, such as straw sales, sales to people intending harm, etc. Guess every FFL needs to become a mindreader, lest their lives be ruined. Not to mention all the bad types of sales listed are already illegal.
The obvious objective is to cause people to drop their FFL’s if this is enacted.
Wonder how the kick is for the .45 ACP vs the 9mm? When I took my wife shooting for the first time, she liked my Para 1911s better than my 9mms. Especially the single stack vs the double stack since she could get her hand around it.
I took my Kimber micro to the range the other day for the first time and forgot how much 9mm kicks vs .45ACP. I can shoot my XDs all day, but I am not impressed with the Kimber. Partly because the magazines don’t come extended (I found some with extra rounds which were cheaper than the Kimber OE but they don’t add enough to get my pinky on the handle) and second because the natural point of aim seems to be low left. Maybe it is my trigger pull (finger wrap).
Anyway, I may have to look for a Roughneck in .45ACP! Nice little thang!
Mi Ranger;
To field strip my Kimber .45 ultra SC, I have to insert a small piece of piano wire to capture the recoil spring so as to remove the slide. Does your Kimber have the same spring wire retainer to perform the same function as on my Kimber???
