Bad news for Dems. With about three weeks until show time, policies adopted by the City of Milwaukee have led to numerous police agencies deciding not to support the Democratic National Convention. The Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission ordered earlier this month that the use of tear gas and pepper spray to disperse protesters be curtailed.
“This is a tumultuous time in not only the Milwaukee Police Department, but in police departments throughout the country. In order for police relations with the community to improve, we have to break with unhelpful police practices that we’ve seen in the past,” Chris Ott, the ACLU of Wisconsin’s executive director, said.
“That’s a big concern for the law enforcement community within Milwaukee and outside of Milwaukee.” Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales told WTMJ-TV.
Such a concern that more than 100 police departments planning to help protect the convention have withdrawn from those agreements.

More than 100 police agencies are pulling out of security agreements to send personnel to next month’s Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee over orders that would prevent officers from using certain crowd control measures during protests, Fox News has learned.
The police departments were part of a collective of outside agencies poised to send officers to secure the event, which will run from Aug. 17-20 and where Joe Biden is expected to be named the party’s presidential nominee. The action comes after the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission directed Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales to change department policy to restrict the use of tear gas and pepper spray.
That’s quite a statement coming from that many police agencies. Who will be left to police the Democratic Convention with this many agencies out is anyone’s guess. Maybe the hippies can help.
Because the police pullout is an entirely reasonable and rational. On a broad level, Democrats have refused to condemn the far-left mob violence directed against police and property in every blue city from New York to Minneapolis, to Portland, to Seattle.

If they stand down we will stand up. Warning: We are not restrained by the civil rights of our quarry or much interested in protecting same. If we have to take over policing a lot more crimes will carry a death sentence.

I don’t think that there would be any trouble due to it’s the demoRATS convention and I imagine that the only protesters there would be the Republican/Conservatives who just peacefully protest and clean up the area before leaving, but if antifa is there which is the new “KKK” arm of the demoRAT party, then I can see trouble brewing.
Think of Antifa and the other Marxist upset that Bernie isn’t their candidate. They dislike Biden at least as much as the traditional old-guard Republicans do Trump. Plenty of riot opportunities.
