Dale Ryan Kubichek; phony Vietnam combat veteran

| February 26, 2014

Dale Kubichek

Craig sends us his work on Dale Kubichek who Craig met in a HAM Radio forum. Craig noticed that on his profile Dale had a couple of service medals for Vietnam and asked Craig about them. Dale’s “cousin” chimed in to the discussion and told craig that Dale had been in the brown water Navy in Vietnam and taken prisoner, but escaped. But there’s no record at the DoD’s POW/MIA Personnel Office. In fact, Dale’s service didn’t begin until he went to the Naval Training Center at Great Lakes in June, 1973. Combat operations in Vietnam ended while he was at NTC in August, 1973, according to his records;

Dale Ryan Kubichek assignments1

But, of course, without the lies, he had a perfectly honorable career;

Dale Ryan Kubichek

There are more images of his records at Scotty’s place, if you’re interested. Craig adds;

He was in the Navy during the dates claimed
He was Discharged as a Petty Officer First Class E-6
He was at NTC Great Lakes, IL and the USS Jouett CG-29
His Military Education is as follows; Basic Electricity & Electronics / Fire Control Technician (Class A) / Fire Control Technician ( Class C) / Instructor Basic
His Military Awards; National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Ribbon, Navy E Ribbon.

Now neither of the ribbons he displays on his QSL card are in his records, no MIA time in his dates of service and nothing else that would indicate any combat time at all.

I researched the USS Jouett and it had left the Vietnam Theatre a month before Dale even joined the US Navy, and was never in a combat role after that.

I also saw no Military Education for Armed Forces Police or for NIS Agent

He retired as an E6, so I don’t know how he figures anyone would believe that he was a company commander.

Another embellishing dog turd!

killerB

Freaking idiot… all those Nam vets that took the crap when they returned for years and shit birds like this guy show up after all that and claim their honor?? Screw this turd sniffer.

MSGRetired

I did the work on this one a year ago .. He is sti;ll rocking the Bullshit on his Bio Page.

http://www.qrz.com/db/N6JSX

He cousin said that the family was notified he was MIA, then he turned up all banged up and perforated. Even when sent his records they said it was secret stuff, Ya like I havent heard that one before.

Anyway this one was sitting on my desk for a long time after he told me to Fuck Off, so I figured the TAH PitBull’s would like a go at him.

His e-mail is n6jsx@yahoo.com Facebook is easy to find ..

Eden

This guy is STILL rockin’ the lies on his ham page at QRZ, over a year later!

Dale Ryan Kubichek is a FRAUD and a VALOR THIEF!

ChipNASA

Fuck Him. FUCK. THIS. GUY.

Bobo

Jonn, Navy DIs are called “company commanders” so that might be where that came from. It looks like he went to instructor school, so maybe somewhere during his USNR time he was teaching somewhere, but I don’t know if the Navy has a reserve DI cadre like the Army.

Doc Savage

This is the age of the internet…do these butt nuggets not realized they will be caught by another service member eventually??

How much of this bullshit will he claim is because he “caught the PTSD”?

Combat Historian

Vietnam vets were scorned and dumped on for many many years. Now that Vietnam vets are honored and respected, douchenuggets like this guy wants to get in on the act. You were NEVER in Vietnam, and you were NEVER a Brown Water vet was was captured, get it, kubichek?

GDContractor

I see reference to a shrine radio club on his bio. If he is a Mason, I wonder what he has been telling them?

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Time to Net it out!

I looked at this for MSGRetired.

Standard sea-going Sailor.
Boot at Glakes.
Attended B Double E and FC Class “A” school.
One small combatant ship USS Jouett (CG-29).
Short stint as Instructor.
That is all.

Never Brown Water Navy.
Never POW.
Never Company Commander.
Never US Navy Law Enforcement.
Never NIS (NCIS).

However, probably:

Does not wear pants while operating HAM radio.
Has his computer tuned to frequency “PORN.”
Is a Class A, Type 1, Mod O creap!

That is all … carry on!

Hondo

Yeah, it’s kinda hard to be a POW when you’re still in basic training when the war ends (28 Mar 1973 was the formal end of the VSM period, less Operation Frequent Wind). Ditto actually serving in that war.

Looks like just another “Vietnam Era” vet trying to cash in on the belated respect given to those who actually served in-country during the Vietnam War by misrepresenting what he really did.

Or in other words: just another despicable jackass.

MSGRetired

Just to Clarify, his cousin said the family was told he was MIA not a POW, but still Bullshit.

AW1 Tim

@8,

Square in the black, Master Chief.

This one actually pisses me off because my “Company Commander”, GM1 Howard Luper really WAS in the BWN over to Vietnam. Had I not been an airdale, I’d have liked to have served on PBR’s, etc. However, even then they were beginning that big drawdown which led to it effectively disappearing.

We never freaking learn, you know?

But this guy is really a frikkin’ jackwagon.

Hondo

MSGRetired: I’m pretty sure those declared officially MIA who were later located would also be listed on the official lists under “recovered personnel”. I could be wrong.

A Proud Infidel

I once read someone’s statement that there are at least five posers for every real and legit Vietnam Vet alive today. The Real Vets risked themselves while the posers went about their usual safe, comfy lives, some smoking pot and protesting, etc., but now that crowd wants to cash in on risks they never took, they never worked or risked anything, but they “want ALL the milk and honey they can get” for their charades, FUCK ALL POSERS!

MSGRetired

Your right Hondo, when I first heard this from his cousin I checked with Mary and he was NEVER listed as MIA. Doesn’t matter but I don’t want to give him wiggle room as never saying he was a POW which he or his cousin never said. But the MIA thing is just as bad. I can only imagine the stories this assclown told his family.

This sat in my bin on the desk for a long time after he told me to Fuck Off. Not sure why I didnt get to it but I am sure he will be changing his profile now that the TAH Kracken have been let loose…

Hondo

Proud Infidel: yeah, I can believe that.

I’ve seen somewhere figures (I’ll try to find the link and post it here) that indicate nearly 9 million people served in the US military during the Vietnam conflict (1961-1973).

Less than 3 million US military personnel actually ever served in-country during Vietnam. I often wonder how many of those “Vietnam Vets” you see everywhere are actually Vietham-Era Vets who are “rockin’ the lie”.

Ex-PH2

This is truly getting tiresome. What a piece of crap is this crap weasel.

I’m not truly awake yet, and I do have to attend to my very own SEAL Team (241), but I will check in now and then with some acerbic comments and maybe one of my more judicious ass-chewing episodes, if I can get Gunny Frank to wake up and wind up.

MustangCryppie

John, when I went to boot camp at Great Mistakes back in 1980, my CC was at least a PO1 (might have been a PO2, but can’t remember) and I know that there were E-5’s who worked as company commanders. So, it’s possible, but who knows if this chucklehead really was one.

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Yo Mustang Crippie … he was not a Company Commander!

Now you are correct … back in the day exceptional E-5’s might have been, however typically CC’s were E-6 and or E-7.

So, in review. considering he does not have the advanced instructor NEC or the CC NEC …he was not … oh …and his records don’t reflect ever being assigned to a CC billet.

But what the hell do I know?

AW1 Tim

I’m wondering if his “Missing in Action” was a case of going out on a bender and not showing up to muster for a few days. Wouldn’t surprise me.

Hondo

Addendum: here’s the link I was referring to above:

http://www.veteranshour.com/vietnam_war_statistics.htm

My memory was about 10% off. Less than 2.65 million US military personnel ever served in-country during that war.

MSGRetired
NHSparky

He never did a stint as a CC. Had he done so, he would have been required to go through the school for it and it would have been on his FOIA.

And both of my CC’s in Great Mistakes way back in 1984 both has VSM’s. On skimmer, one submariner.

MSGRetired

@22 Scotty, He is still rocking the Lies so I asked Jonn to post him up as well.

I never want to see a single one of the Phony Fucks get away with it, no matter how big or small the claim is. Its just a slap in the face to those that have served Honorably and don’t feel the need to embellish.

Twist

I was MIA once, but I was quickly found to have been on the shitter when the PSG meeting was called.

3/17 air cav

I served a year in that shithole called Vietnam. Got discharged, and did not talk about for more than 30 years. Went back to school, and got on with life.

Nothing, I mean nothing pisses me off more than a phony Vietnam vet.

Fuck this guy. The only brown water he’s been close to is the discharge of fecal matter as he sits at his Ham radio.

LIRight

@8 MCPO NYC USN Ret.

“However, probably:

PRICELESS!!

@27 3/17 air cav

Ditto and well said!

tm

@MSGRetired: So, we know he’s a military phony, but is he also making sh!t up on his HAM radio profile you linked to?

MSGRetired

@29 TM, Yes the first paragraph about the Navy lists his bullshit, then there is a Graphic top right with two Vietnam Ribbons on it which he never earned.

Jilly

Wow his QRZ page says he was an ARRL Official Observer Coordinator http://www.arrl.org/official-observer-coordinator
I wonder if he really was.
I am an ARRL life member (not that it means anything really) and will email them and ask.

tm

@30 Sorry I just realized I wasn’t clear, but I meant are his HAM radio achievements also made up?

Green Thumb

These POW guys are the worst.

Scum.

Green Thumb

I think that idiot AF chick that had her tongue in the mouth of the POW/MIA man on the flag should personally have to make out with every fake ass POW imposter.

The punishment should fir the crime.

I imagine she will learn her lesson.

Ex-PH2

Green Thumb, you’re far too nice and reserved about that.

I think she should have to have porn ass sex with everyone of them. And videoed, too.

Wesley Wilson AKA Enigma4you

OK the way I read it was SSC (Service School Command) at great lakes. Not RTC (Recruit Training Command)

It look like he may have been an instructor for FCT A School or BEE (Basic Electronics)

NHSparky

BE/E was self-paced at the time, and the “instructors” were civilians for the most part.

FT “A”, I’ll buy. But still not buying he was a CC at RTC.

Wesley Wilson AKA Enigma4you

However he may have been A CC for a school Company. I know When I was in BEE and IC A Schools our CCs were also our instructor.

Green Thumb

@35.

I am trying to expand my horizons and work on my political correctness.

Jilly

re: #31
“Our system only shows that he was one [OO Coordinator] for a time in the 90s but doesn’t indicate where.”

does not jibe with what is on his QRZ page where he lists:

ARRL LA Section OO, 1985-1989
ARRL LA Section OO Coordinator, 1987-1989

Wesley Wilson AKA Enigma4you

ex-ph2

You are now my hero

Ex-PH2

Here to serve, E4Y and GT.

TheCloser

He’s the second person in a month I’ve seen claim to be discharged as a frocked Chief Petty Officer.

Things that make you go ‘huh?’

Joe Williams

Nothing fires me up as a poser like Kuby. I came back to name calling by people that did not know me . To people I went to school with for many years turning their back on me. I never hid me service and never forgot my squadron mates who were wounded or KIA.These scum trying to bask in made up super secret duties. Kuby who were your shipmates? What was the hull numbers of the boats you were on? What sqadron number?Which base did you operate out of ?Remember the Swiftboaters, they are still here. How could be in Nam when all the US personel were out before you got out of Boot? A new green kid just out of Boot pulling secret missions, NO WAY IN HELL. Joe

A Proud Infidel

Shitbags like Dale Ryan Kubichek are the kind that I like to play a round of “Bust the Bullshitter” on when I’m face to face with them. If I think they’re a poser I’ll ask if they were ever in the A Shau Valley outside of Saigon (I read the book “Eyes of the Eagle”, firsthand stories of a 101st Div LRRP, where he wrote that that place “Was Indian Country” as well as up North) and if he says “Yes”, I’ll bust his balls right in front of God and everybody! I do the same thing with other suspected posers, ask a question that would get me smacked into next week by any real Vet, and embarrass them when they say “Yes”!

MSGRetired

I wonder if he is a Mason ?? He has the symbol along with two unearned Vietnam Ribbons on his Contact Card. Be curious if anyone in his area knows of his Masonic ties. I think he would go the way of Banks in regards to being a member…

A Proud Infidel

Well, DAMN, another slam!

Hondo

A Mason, eh? Wonder if this is his Lodge?

http://www.temperancelodge73.com/

Hondo

Oh, and it looks like Temperance Lodge #73 has a helpful “Contact Us” page, too:

http://www.temperancelodge73.com/contact_us

MSGRetired

Thanks Hondo, I actually found the e-mail address to the Master of the Lodge. So e-mail sent !

Hondo

MSGRetired: if that’s the same thing as a “Worshipful Master” (I’m not a Mason), well, that’s on the contact page too. (smile)

You know that “deer in the headlights” look some fools get when they realize they’ve royally screwed themselves and there’s no escape? I’m guessing this tool has that look on his face about now – or will soon.
