Weeble woman can’t stop the lies
We’ve talked about Tina “Lightfoot” Kersten before. Guardian of Valor busted her for her lies a year ago, and we followed suit. San Antonio local news exposed her for her lies, but she never learns. Chip sent us an article in the local rag, The Picayune (see page 8) in which she caught the PTSD in Desert Storm and cured it with peddling (or is it pedaling?) her fat ass all over town;

She had been off of active duty for two years before Desert Storm happened, so she must’ve caught the PTSD from being left out of the war, or watching it on CNN.

I guess that without the lies, she’s nothing, which is not our fault. I’ve emailed the author of the article and he said that although he had heard that a local woman had been caught lying about her military service, he didn’t realize that it was Bigfoot, or Lightfoot, or whoever. But he plans on confronting her. I think she’s just upset because she didn’t do better in the tournament.
Category: Phony soldiers
weeble wobbles’ at it again; color me “SHOCKED”; with these posers, it’s a pathology…
Ok. We need a ruling; can she be entered in the next tourney, since she is at it, again?
I would say that she is eligible for the next tourny since this is a new lie.
I feel her pain. I too caught the PTSD while watching the Gulf War on CNN while I was in high school. So I was well aware of it before I actually deployed to Iraq in 2005.
@2, @3 – I think she’s definitely in.
I still think we need a tourney dedicated to gullible, non-fact checking reporters.
Old Trooper… I second that request… I believe if you offend again you should be eligible for a second or even third appearance in the tourney. However, like this case in particular, in must be a completely new offense.
Old Trooper, Hellboy: TSO runs the tourney, so his call will be definitive. But as I understand it – yeah, she should be eligible. This is different stolen valor misconduct in a different year, compounded by her being a repeat offender.
@6, I like that idea. These ass-clowns wouldn’t be getting so much attention if the reporters would do their homework first.
Tina “Lightfoot-Lance Armstrong” Kersten.
She went from being a 212 pound lying sack of shit to a 150 pound lying sack of shit.
Look on the bright side, USMCE8Ret. That’s a 41.3% lightening of her LSoS “footprint”! (smile)
@6 We could vote on the poser and the reporter who didn’t fact check as a pair where appropriate…especially when the reporter becomes aware of the fraud and their first response is to defend their stupidity….
@10: Yeah, but the feces are in a more concentrated form…
How bout this y’all- an award for the most ‘egregious’ support of Stolen Valor?
Something to recognize those idiots who do not fact check, or recognize their errors, or do something so stupid in allowing these SVI (Stolen Valor Idiots) to perpetuate?
@14: psul wickre would win that in a heartbeat…
If you’re going to put her up for SV again, and she wins, just make sure the reporter who wrote this current story gets the results of the voting.
@6:
I think that’s a great idea. but instead of a contest, maybe it should be some sort of rating system –
1) 1st time SV offender or repeat SV offender (so a basic web search would have revealed the fraud to the reporter/interviewer),
2) Audience base of the media outlet (a full-time reporter in LA should probably be held to higher journalistic standard than a part-time reporter in Lost Springs, Wyoming (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Springs,_Wyoming), and
3) Number of comments the revelation of the fraud has generated here at TAH.
Just some more ideas, but it would be great to see a sidebar on the main page here at TAH with the media organizations (maybe not any reporter’s names, since the editors have final responsibility) listed as such, and linked to the actual SV posting. It might make them think twice about their throwing this junk out there to the public.
Or maybe not.
They’ve got a name for people like you Tina. That name is called “recidivism.”
Repeat Offender!!
Not a pretty name, is it?
What, she’s not sporting “her” Silver Star this time?
Maybe she read the new SV Act that says she’d go to the slam if she wore/claimed it.
Hey! If you can catch the PTSD from watching CNN CONUS, what does one get from watching CNN International from within the zone??
This one is a very special piece of work. And gives idiots a bad name.
The author just emailed that he wants to do an interview with me on her background. I guess he’s pretty mad about it. I wish they’d get mad before they write these articles.
@21: Jonn, when interviewed by this guy, I hope you emphasize to him how his profession has empowered and enabled these posers to lay out their bullshit due to the Fourth Estate’s lack of due diligence in double-checking facts, and its overall lack of any knowledge about the military in general…
It turns out Daniel is a Navy veteran.
Oh, my, Jonn! That is an interesting turn of events!!
@23: As a navy vet, Daniel Clifton the journalist should have known better…
@23 Ohhhh he is going to rage then, I’d say pics of never happened but video would be even more hilarious, tell him to make sure to catch her in a corner as in the previous tries she just weaseled her way out by walking fast and not talking.
@23,
Oh SNAP….I’m *certain* that he won’t make the same mistake again.
He said he’s a Navy Veteran?

Did you ask for a copy of *his* DD214??
Tina Lightfoot: When I returned home from three military I lost all self esteem and respect for myself and others. One morning I woke up and told myself… NO MORE!!! I didn’t like who I had become and wanted more…I wanted to be healthy mind, body, and soul..I needed so desperately to have a family care for me like my fellow soldiers… Mad Dawg fitness is where I found that love and understanding…. to make me strive for the best and to not ever settle.
From: http://www.maddawgfit.com/blog/
If you look at the original article there is someone in the picture wearing a “Biggest Loser Challenge” T-shirt…..seems like they won the challenge and found the biggest loser….
@28: Too bad Mad Dawg Fitness couldn’t cure weeble wobble of her lyingitis…
I was pulling for her to come through better in the Last tourney. She’s like a turd that won’t flush.
I am surprised WWP is not all over her cooch.
Burnet TX isn’t THAT big, and her lies almost closed down the VFW Post due to Cdr George Banks duplicity in her SV claims. It was all over the news, not sure how the reporter missed it.
Jeez…AGAIN!?
@12. Poser and the Dumbass Reporter Who Didn’t Fact Check. Sort of like SV mixed doubles?
Jonn, i look forward to that article, kick this squids ass for not fact checking!
guys, yall should stop hating on the weeble, no one chooses to catch the PTSD, it chooses you. while the weeble was in a low risk category for PTSD exposure, there is no fail proof method of preventing its spread. clearly she caught a viral strain that is capable of survivng in extremely hostile areas (such as state side peaceful small towns).
I remember the commercial jingle for them when I was a kid in the early 70’s “Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down!”. That seems to ring true for that critter, she just can’t quit lying for attention!
@18, Eggs, you hit the nail squarely on the head, she’s a fine example of recidivism!! Maybe the SV Tournament needs to branch out into categories, Repeat Offenders, Biggest Liar Douchebag, Biggest Idiot, Biggest Repeat Windbag,… And then the Tourney for Grand Champion!!
She says she wasn’t a person anyone would want to be around.
Wasn’t?
@36 – she’s kind of shaped like a Weeble, too, as I remember them.
On the FOIA scan, under the rank/grade, what does PAT-R (N1) mean/stand for? Apologies if this question was asked before.
@38, Mr Bill, yes, indeed!!
NOTE: the author is also the EDITOR.
#shouldaknownbetter
#factchecking
@39
I’m wondering that too, The Fonz. I’ve never seen that nomenclature in a FOIA before. Maybe it has something to do with a Reserve component?
@42 Matt,
I’m just a former Army guy and I can barely count up to four. Maybe, she made up her own rank when she was booted out….
Do these SV imposters have an actual diagnosable mental illness? Like why do these individuals keep coming back out repeatedly after being exposed? Do they like having their names come up under Google searches for the lairs that they are are?
“Pathological liar” used to be considered a mental defect. Not so sure these days. Seems to have become “normal,” based on the numbers of them we see in the news each day.
Oh, and YES, I agree she deserves a second run at the brass (cock)ring that is the Tourney. But to be a serious contender, she needs to steal some more resources donayed to or reserved for real disabled vets, or lie to some super-sick kids (while stalking their mom), or sue some SV exposing vets, or out some active duty operators. Or hire a psychotic sock puppet. Right now she’s pretty weak sauce.
They have an inferiority complex and probably lack self esteem
Okay this is sexist but as a woman, these stories piss me off even more when the individual in question is a woman. She needs an extra B-slap.
She appears to have lost some weight. She does look better.
That is no excuse for her asshattery.
@ 49
That’s like saying my asshole looks better after I wipe. Still doesn’t look good.
