Carroll Bryant; phony SEAL

| January 9, 2013

Carroll seal5

Someone sends us their research on Carroll Bryant who has been pretending to be a SEAL. According to the guy who sent this stuff and did most of the investigating, Bryant has been claiming to be a SEAL for years. And now that he’s been exposed as a liar, of course, its because the Navy had to “erase” his records, to wit (if you can read it);

when my career ended, there were several security issues surrounding my service and what had happened on a specific op… i (and the govt went through great legnths to ensure i was “erased” from specop service..i at time went along with…due to my becoming disenfranchised by things we all had learned our govt was into… during our service…i have always held that i am not responsible to validate myself in any regard to any person..i know what and who i am..and you or any other person can take that at face value of the alternative(ur choice)

Don Shipley says he’s not a SEAL, along with a couple of other phony hunters. From his records, it looks like Bryant spent about six months in the Navy as an E-3. But his FOIA lacks the forms we’re accustomed to seeing. So I’m betting on Don Shipley in this one.

You would think that a SEAL would be smart enough to use proper capitalization, spelling, and grammar. I’ve had bowls of Alpha-Bits cereal that made more sense.

Chip@NASA

There is another Carroll Bryant who is an author and says enlisted into the United States army Reserves (at age 17) where he spent a year serving as a weekend warrior.
A month later, he would enlist into the active military, transferring to the United States Navy. Upon completion, Carroll chose an attempt to become a United States Navy SEAL. Only to “ring the bell” after about 4 weeks. He then was sent to an aircraft carrier in Norfolk, Virginia where he would spend the rest of his military service as a barber.”

The photo is of an apparent younger white guy. Maybe this is where this came from?

I love how the posers always state that their records are sealed/erased/redacted/whatever yet they can freely talk about everything they did on facebook and other websites.

MCPO NYC USN (Ret.)

Aside from the obvious … can’t spell, structure a sentence or impart an idea clearly … he must be a genuine SEAL. It is widely know that SEALs who lacked basic skills such as, reading, writing, basic thought and logic processing, manipulation of a spoon (or any other slightly curved object), were often used for the most challenging TOP SECRET BLACK OPS. These BLACK OPS were so secret that the Navy Personnel Command does not even acknowledge the service of such operators. They go to great legsnth to erase poeple who become disenfrenchfried. LOOK IT UP!

The PEACE sign hanging from his neck is the only proof you need. ALL SEALs display such symbols while wearing SEAL tee shirts and ball caps.

ANALYSIS: I AM SOLD … REAL DEAL

I like how it’s always a case of “My records have been hidden and destroyed because they don’t want anyone knowing that I was SPECOPS.”

Yet, the guys who say that are always telling anyone who will listen about how they were SEALS and SF and whatever and wear the hats and shirts.

You’d think that if the government really did want to silence someone, they’d dislike the person openly claiming to be something that they weren’t suppose to have ever been.

Yat Yas 1833

Amen Mustang! These rat bastages make me sick. IF you did serve, be proud of it and let it go at that. Myself? One, three year tour with Charlie co, 3rd Amtracs at Camp Pendleton. Glorious? Not even close! Fun? Yeah, we managed to have some! Honorable? To the best of my abilities, got my “Atta-boy” ribbon, Honorable Discharge Certificate and pin. Plenty good enough for me and I’m not ashamed to tell anyone the same!

Twist

@5, My best friend is SF and you would never know it. Hell, the only reason I know is it is that I’ve known him half my life. I like to send him links to the SF posers you out here just to rile him up.

Twist

@6, They make me sick too. I’m just a regular, run of the mill 11B leg that has a couple combat tours and no V devices. My proudest awards are my CIB and VUA. Yet these posers aren’t proud of their actual service and have to make themselves out to be the second comming of Audie Murphy. One of the falsely claimed awards that piss me off is the PH. Maybe we should force the posers to go to Walter Reed to ask all the service members there how glad they are to have recieved their PHs.

SFC Holland

MCPO, I lost it at disinfrenchfried. That was a great one! Thanks for the laugh. Now I am off to last minute EO/SHARP training that I got hey you’d for. Go Army!

JP

Maybe he ate his records.

NHSparky

At first I thought this guy was Creekmur, but there are so many of them it’s hard to keep count.

Another one for the “Secret BUD/S Class 1” at Fort Coronado. Jeez.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

“i have always held that i am not responsible to validate myself in any regard to any person”

Spoken like a true liar….he’s so full of sh1t he’s convinced himself his lies are true….hopefully the smiling lady with him in the photo figures out he’s a full of sh1t turd before she loses everything she possesses to a fraud.

A lot of these guys seem to be pretty good at telling stories, too bad they don’t use that talent to write a nice piece of fiction and live honestly off telling tales.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

@8 Or, we could shoot them in the leg with a large caliber rifle. Or, expose them to some hot, high speed shrapnel….then during their rehab they can perhaps begin to understand a little of what it takes to actually live the f$cking lies they have been telling.

HMCS(FMF) Ret

These assclowns always seem to start off with being picked because they were seen as being “special”…. then the stories about being “in the shit”… squad/platoon/company/battalion/regiment being wiped out, and being one of 2-3 survivors (or even being the only one, to make it out. Then the claim about being a POW/MIA and escaping to freedom after 1 to 300 days evading the “bad guys” (surviving off the land and eating tofu Grape Nuts) until the make it back to base. They claim that their records are classified/ redacted/destroyed in “THE FIRE” or kept in the upper left corner of the President’s desk drawer (you know, so he can personally call them for their next “mission”). They have so many awards and letters of commendation from various governments that they just can’t tell you about, because they are CLASSIFIED.

And of course, the never ending claims about their “skill sets”… master of all weapons know to man, every self-defense skill (including the deadly “five fingers of death”) and is “licensed to kill” or “the XXX deadliest man alive”. But now, in the twilight of their lives, they have seen the light and are trying to make amends with the “pain” that they have inflicted on others and that is “seared” into their brains… of holding their best friend/SGT/ Squad Leader in their arms and remembering their final words… wanting to make peace with the world… write books about love, puppies and kittens… be a humanitarian.

About the only thing they don’t mention is that during their “top secret training program” at Area 51 that they were given an alien anal probe and taught mind control/thought projection techniques to kill their enemies.

This is why I visit this site everyday… to see the douchebaggery that is out there taking respect away from the kids that are in military hospitals around the world who have been wounded in battle… and those that are escorted home for the final time wrapped in the flag of our country – the real heroes.

rb325th

Utter BS… even if a Special Operator was on a classified mission and was injured, there is a process by which the VA can confirm their claims. What I am saying as we all know, this is bull shit. No ones MOS or even Service for that matter is “classified” or “sanitized”. Even if an operation was Clssified, somewhere it is written down and filed away. What a tool bag, maybe it works on the uneducated and super gullible….

Twist

It’s always “classified” for these clowns. Hell, I’ve been on some classified operations in my time. Funny how my name still appears on AKO.

NHSparky

Twist–same here. Interim TS clearances and all that happy horseshit. Whoda thunk a silly nuke bubblehead like me would rate that kind of “secret squirrel” shit?

kp32

I didn’t know Magic Johnson was a SEAL.

Green Thumb

Creekmur’s turd twin.

Loser.

I think the closest this guy came to being a SEAL was when he told Forrest Gump his dream to become a shrimp boat captain.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Walrus maybe, SEAL not so much….

USMCE8Ret

He wears the Peace symbol because of this talent he learned at Area 51, during his BUD/S extension training after Coronado:

MCPO NYC USN (Ret.)

I just noticed in photo # 2.

Looks like he is sporting a gold tuffus or he is missing one.

When questioned about his teeth, Bryant responded, “of my ogriginal 32 adutl toofusses, eyes got 19 ogrinals, too are falsified, won is 10 carrott gowld, and the rest I keeps on a chain”.

Hondo

“i have always held that i am not responsible to validate myself in any regard to any person”

Let me translate the above Bryant-speak:

“I got no proof because it never happened. You know that, I know that, and anyone with half a brain can figure that out. But I’ve been lying my ass off so long I’ll be damned if I’m gonna come clean now.”

rb325th

for someone so “disenfranchised” (I am thinking he really meant disillusioned) with his service, who went to such great lengths to wipe out any trace of it (apparently in full cooperation with the Navy of course…)
So why in the world would he talk about it? I mean you go to that much trouble to make your record go away, but then run around telling everyone and anyone who will listen what a f’ing hero you are?
Sure thing Carroll….

NHSparky

@24 Hondo–or he got that line from his Learning Annex course on Public Speaking taught by Don King.

Flagwaver

You know some people actually can’t talk about what they’ve done. But, that doesn’t stop it from being in records. I’ve seen a file when I was helping an admin clerk go through PMP packets that had a page with redacted black lines in it. Yeah, the guy was a Ranger and was active duty before he went into the Guard. That’s what the government does to ensure stuff stays hush-hush. It doesn’t deny your existence and burn your history. That is not what a bureaucracy is about… it’s about accumulating so many papers you could kill a man with the weight.

NHSparky

Flag–or we sign Page 13’s (Navy’s version of admin record) saying that for this date to this date, you don’t talk about anything you did or anywhere you went, lest you spend many years in federal PMITA prison.

Frankly, I never saw the big deal. We went out, we did shit, we sometimes got pretty ribbons and lots of VIPs coming down to visit us, and our officers flew to Pearl or DC to brief people.

Meh.

O-4E

In the words of Rudy from Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids:

“Fat Albert…your like a school in summer…no class”

Green Thumb

@30.

Looks like he bisexual and trying to pick up some ass.

Trying to rhyme.

What a loser.

Ex-PH2

Walrus — No.

SEAL — No.

Beached whale — most likely.

Ex-PH2

Unless, of course, he’s an elephant seal.

Now that, I would believe.

sailbeach

Having served in Navy Special Forces, I was not a SEAL, but had parallel training under the Joint Military Tactical Operations Directorate, which to this date does not exist to the eyes or the regular Navy or even many in the regular service. Its all on the “Need to Know,” yet there is a trail to all of us, if you look at the right place, but F.O.I.A., will not help you in this case. These people are often covered under the Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982 (Pub.L. 97-200, 50 U.S.C. §§ 421–426), which I fall under, so anything is possible. In addition to many nondisclosure agreements! Yet you never advertise and this message never came from me! He who speaks loudly probably never served in that capacity. “Loose Lips Sink Ships!”

NHSparky

Aw shit…someone just went full retard.

Steve Tobe

I lived down the road from Carroll Bryant back in the 70’s and 80’s as a teen.Huber Heights Ohio..He was a male stripper at a club before he went into the Navy.He is full of it.Looks like he “SEALED” his own fate.

Steve Tobe

Maybe he became a stripper after the Navy? Not sure.

Steve Tobe

As a Persian Gulf War Vet, I find these posers as despicable.

Hondo

Damn, not another Chippendale SEAL . . . .

Smart Exwife

Unfortunately I was oh so briefly married to this person and I am the one that bought the SEAL shirts and caps because I didn’t know him well enough to realize it was undeserved. My apologies and my gratitude to the men and women that really do gladly dedicate their lives to preserving our freedom.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

@39 Seems like you were victimized by a slick liar m’lady….you would not be the first, and I fear you will not be the last. Glad to hear you are now the smart ex wife. Best of luck to you moving forward.

Green Thumb

A maggotty dude indeed…

33rd comment down “I served in Navy Special Forces”
Calling you out on that one. No such thing.

Steve

Data my friend and I amassed before we made the claim of poser; What I post below is neither slanderous or lies. Nothing below is not factual and very easy to confirm. I ask FB to not delete this post because it is mereIy correcting a lie being told by Carroll Bryant with contact names, emails and/or phone numbers when allowed. Carroll has stolen the good valor of men that have actually earned the right to call themselves SEALS. A few weeks ago (after the theater shootings) I posted a link about a 71 year old man defending himself against two armed thugs. I got into a heated discussion with Bob Gustin about guns (he against them and me for them). During the discussion Carroll chimed in with his opinion. Carroll went out of his way to use “buzz” words i.e. warfare, assessment, concealment. It was rather a painful read. When I corrected Carroll, Bob chimed in “how could I question Carroll the SEAL”…… I have always known Carroll wasn’t ever a SEAL as does he. If he was pretending to be Special Forces (Green Beret), I would have addressed it sooner, for I HAVE earned the right to wear a Green Beret and walk among the best warriors on earth. I am humbled that I can call them brothers…….. But when others start helping Carroll perpetrate his lie, although unknowing, I feel it needs to be addressed. It’s not even close to being right that Carroll steals the honor of the men that have giving more than possible to earn the right to wear the Trident. I post this as proof that Carroll Bryant is NOT and NEVER has been a SEAL. He NEVER even attempted BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL) Training. This post is long but needs to be read. Carroll has lied about his SEAL qualification and needs to be called on it. When he claims SEAL he is lying, when his wife allows him to wear his SEAL hats and claim SEAL, she is helping him perpetrate the lie. Please read below in its entirety. “When tired,… Read more »

Ignorance of United States laws, can cost you financially and criminally, there is nothing funny about that or the impact on your family and friends. Under the new laws, access to records of members without permission of the member directly or his survivors is against the laws of the United States. This not true for members before 1976, those records are part of the National Archives. Anything past 1976, those records are held by MILPERS and are not subject to F.O.I.A. disclosure under the law. WE ARE INVESTIGATING ANY MEMBER ACTIVE OR NOT WHO HAVE BEEN VIOLATING PRIVACY ACT OF FELLOW ACTIVE MEMBERS OR VETERANS UNDER THE PREMISE OF ESPIONAGE AGAINST THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA; UNDER THE COUNTER-TERRORISM CODIFIED LAWS. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER NOTICES.
