President Trump warns about the use of the Insurrection Act in Minneapolis
President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to give a warning to corrupt Minnesota politicians. If they do not take action to address the agitators interfering with ICE operations, Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act. This comes after a second ICE related shooting that resulted in an illegal alien getting shot in the leg.
From Fox News:
“If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The president’s warning comes after a second ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis in recent days.
An ICE agent shot an alleged illegal immigrant in the leg on Wednesday during an arrest attempt. The Department of Homeland Security claims the agent fired at the suspect because he was “fearing for his life and safety” after the individual resisted arrest and “violently assaulted the officer.”
The Insurrection Act, an 1807 law, has not been invoked since the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
The order allows the president to deploy the military to suppress rebellions and enforce federal laws. If invoked, it would grant Trump the authority to federalize the National Guard and deploy active duty forces to restore order. It would temporarily override the Posse Comitatus Act, which normally restricts the use of the military for domestic law enforcement.
The suspect in Wednesday’s shooting was reported to be in stable condition and is now in custody, while the ICE agent is allegedly in the hospital.
This comes after an incident last week in Minneapolis, where Renee Nicole Good, a U.S. citizen, was fatally shot by an ICE agent after authorities alleged she tried to ram her vehicle into federal agents during an immigration enforcement operation.

On cue the Democrats are claiming that it is ICE causing the chaos because they know that their cult will lap it up. No mother fuckers, it’s your shock troop activists riled up by your violent rhetoric that is causing the chaos. They will keep it up because they want more martyrs to their cause.

I heard that you were unhappy with 1,000 ICE agents in your city enforcing Federal Immigration Law. We have fixed the shortfall, you will now have 3,000 agents. If you are still unhappy let me know.

P.S. I saw the mayor whining on TV about having less than 600 police officers and was apologizing there weren’t enough to fight Federal Agents and prevent them from enforcing the law. IIRC, six years ago the city had 750 police officers and then treated them like garbage, defunded them and hundreds of them quit. I suggest he cut pay and resources further and then send a message that this will continue until morale improves.

Trump should not warn, he should just do it. At every turn, he projects weakness.

His warning is pretty cut and dried. This is not an Obama “sternly worded letter”. This is “If you do this, it will cause me to react in this fashion. Your move”.
Or Biden when he warned “Don’t…” (and didn’t do anything when they did.
And by the way, crime has literally plummeted in Minneapolis compared to last year and against the last three year average it is dropped much farther.

The mayor needs to send Trump a huge thank you letter for cleaning up his city.
All the criminals are out in force “protecting their neighborhoods”.
Just a guess but many of the criminals are either home after being away for years or on that long “freedom flight” to their point of origin.
It certainly isn’t because the police are doing better, they have fewer than last year and they cut their pay last May.
Criminal aliens are hiding or fleeing to other states.
