FOIA Requests – Cases SITREP
Just want to update everyone on the FOIA request situation.
Things were at a standstill during the government shutdown. Although they have been back to work since mid-December, they are facing a backlog. Not quite as bad as when COVID hit, but still a backlog.
We’ve been getting a few trickling back, but after apologizing for the delay, they’re mainly asking if we are still interested in the results. We reply, “Definitely.”
We are still getting steady case submissions, but few are actionable since they are word-of-mouth claims. I’m thinking that when Facebook came on the scene, it allowed people to put their best foot (or face) forward and didn’t consider the repercussions of embellishing. Things have caught up, and I think people are learning to be more careful with online claims.
There are a few uncles at a wedding, VFW tales over a beer, and barstool “juz tryin’ to get laid” folks.
We’ll keep submitting FOIA requests, and hopefully we’ll get something back worth sharing. I almost hope that people turn out to be legit.
So, we’ll go until the next government shutdown, slated for February 1, 2026.

After Jonn proved so effective at outing the phonies, and they kept getting their hindquarters handed to them on a stack of Y3K software, it seems that many of the phonies have learned to be cautious about what they post online.

2 or 3 weeks ago I made EX-PH2’s famous penne/sausage dish, portioned them out to 6 vacumme bags and stuck them in my reefer. Friends used to tell me that the penn had to be boiled in water first and I explained to them that the penne, chopped sausage and diced tomatos go into the same skillet and the diced hunts tomatoes and tomato sauce cook the penne.
My mother used to make something similar she called “Texas hash”. Throw hamburger, tomatoes, chili powder, etc. into a skillet with some uncooked rice and turn on the heat. Nowadays I am just too lazy to break out the skillet, so a large pot will do.

Dude’s ribbons are all out of order and you can’t wear the NDSM on a neck ribbon (said neck ribbon itself seems curiously absent) unless it was awarded as NDSM First Class or higher. I am calling BS on this AI-created dreck! The dog and beer are very believable but I ain’t falling for it….
