Russia and Iran condemn US military strikes on Venezuela
Several countries condemned the U.S. attack on Venezuela. Two of the most notable condemnations came from Russia and Iran. The Russian foreign ministry argued that the justifications used for the attacks were untenable. They further accused the U.S. of acting from ideological hostility rather than businesslike pragmatism. Spoiler: Nicolás Maduro was wanted by our justice system. Iran strongly condemned the U.S. attack. Spain and the EU took a more diplomatic approach, calling for restraint.
From News 18:
Russia was among the strongest critics of the US action, calling it an act of armed aggression with no valid justification. In a statement, the Russian foreign ministry said Washington’s decision was “deeply concerning and condemnable”.
“The pretexts used to justify such actions are untenable. Ideological hostility has triumphed over businesslike pragmatism,” the statement said.
In a follow-up statement, Moscow further demanded “immediate clarification” about reports that Maduro and his wife had been forcibly removed from Venezuela.
“We are extremely alarmed by reports that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife were forcibly removed from the country as a result of today’s US aggression. We call for an immediate clarification of the situation,” the statement said.
Iran also condemned the US strikes, accusing Washington of violating Venezuela’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Iranian foreign ministry in a statement said it “strongly condemns the American military attack on Venezuela and the flagrant violation of the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.”
Colombia, which shares a long and sensitive border with Venezuela, responded by increasing security measures. President Gustavo Petro said he had ordered the deployment of military forces to the Venezuelan border following what he described as US attacks.
Petro strongly criticised Washington’s actions, calling them an assault on Latin American sovereignty. He warned that the strikes could trigger a major humanitarian crisis, particularly for countries neighbouring Venezuela that are already dealing with migration pressures.

And? Who cares?
Their “special military operation” in Ukraine entered the chat.
Russia and Iran condemn us?
Russian spokesman: “we call for immediate clarification !”
American spokesman: “okay. I’ll…speak…slower. We…captured…Maduro…and…removed…him…from…the…illegitimate…office…he…has…held. You…understand…now,…comrade?”
Maduro is an ally of Russia and China. First Assad, now Maduro, and Iran’s “castigation.” Trump is determined to get peace in Ukraine, Russian and CCP influence out of Latin America, and further frustrate the ability to flood drugs into our country. There are other reasons for this action, but Trump is playing 4D chess.
Yup. This op was tactical and strategic.
He got rid of a shitbird who just didn’t see the writing on the wall and step back from his narcoterrorism.
Second, this op will have a chilling, maybe freezing, effect on all the bad actors fucking with our country. Pay attention drug cartels (that includes you Mexico!), Russia, China, Iran, et al.
The grandmaster is winning!
Not just that, DJT GACE maduro opportunities to leave with dignity which were ignored, thus he had him snatched and made Maduro his BITCH!
The helicopter carrying him, and the other helicopters accompanying the one carrying Maduro, flew by the statue of liberty. There’s another video where he’s being perp walked down the hallway. He says, “Good night, happy new year!”
President Trump already warned others in the area. Here’s a video showing Maduro daring for someone to come get him. Trump posted it to Truth Social with the response added to it:

WAS an ally….
When will our resident socialistConservative Shtick act get on the site… Only the Shadow knows
He’s curled up sucking his thumb and whimpering right now…
Its not HIS ” thumb” hes sucking…
He’s probably at his local socialist/commie HQ wondering when they’re going to be told to and get paid to attend “Free maduro” screech-fests!
I think they’re gonna be greatly outnumbered.
Details still coming out, but it sounds like an excellent operation by Delta & CIA.
The Venezuelans certainly deserve better than Maduro – here’s to hoping this helps pave the way for a better future for them now.
Looking forward to the handoff, but things sucked in leftards’ fantasyland:

Hopefully, they can repopulate their zoos, and they can stop looking at the zoo animals as a source of protein.
I understand zebra is quite tasty, cooked low and slow with the proper marinade.
The usual suspects. My big question, the one I had after we took Afghanistan, Iraq, etc… what’s next, who fills the power vacuum, and how long are we staying?
They have a legitimately elected President, who had to be extricated to a safe location because Maduro was trying to kill her.
It should be the responsibility of her and her party to take over the government of Venezuela.
Should.
And now I read that “we will run Venezuela until”…
>sigh<
Hope 47 does it better than past tries. *cough*W*cough*
Well, Venezuela is a Western, nominally Christian country with a recent history of democracy so there’s that. Plus, very hot women. If I was still single…seeing as I “habla” I would have a leg up. 🤣
I also “habla.”
During the UNITAS deployment over a couple of decades back, I sampled some women in South America. I went after the Caucasian ones. Better than Shakira.
Yes, some of the Venezuelan girls of my childhood were quiet striking.
However, please note that Venezuelan Spanish is a very different creature from Mexican/Central American Spanish.
The speech that George Bush made on the aircraft carrier projected that Iraq was going to be a long haul. He declared major combat operations over but did not declare all combat operations over. He was talking about the invasion phase being over.
George Bush did lay out some of the challenges that would be faced, which proved prophetic, and detailed the conditions that had to be in place before we pulled out. We weren’t there to stand up a first world government. The campaign objective was for Iraq to have a representative government that could govern, manage, secure, etc., it’s territory. We accomplished that.
Obama dropped the bubble and almost had a repeat of what happened in Vietnam. To his credit, Obama took action to prevent a complete loss. Trump came in and helped Iraq stabilize things in their favor.
We actually accomplished our campaign objectives in Iraq, something that could’ve also been done for Vietnam and Afghanistan had we had better politicians managing and influencing the process and actual political will in Washington D.C.
Maduro has a lot of “lackeys” in the government, plus the questionable characters in their government jockeying for positions of influence. The Venezuelans have some unrooting to do.
From what I have read, we have already left; it was a raid, not an invasion.
Please forgive my skepticism.
Quiet understandable given history.
I made my comment before I heard that our President said we would be running things. I not only forgive your skepticism, I now share it. How Trump intends to run the country without occupying it mystifies me.
The D-Boys may have left, but…
…but the problems remain. I am not sure Trump knows how to quit while he is ahead.
It doesn’t matter who, as long as they agree to sell Vz’s oil in USD on the world market. I bet the CIA already has a nice strongman picked out.
They fixed the glitch.
Problem is solved on our end.
Their vice president took over. President Trump said something about a “second wave” that would be “more spectacular.” This appears aimed at getting the next leadership to cooperate with the United States… Talking tough in a bid that the other side would take you seriously and take action on their end that removes the need to “come back.”
I’m just hoping the vice president doesn’t become Karzai, the sequel.
She argued that Maduro was still the legitimate president.
Yeahhhhh that’s not gonna work for us.
Ah, yes. The question our strategical wizards in DC can never think of—“Now what do we do?”
Clarification. We wanted him, we went and got him. Clear?
I am surprised though. I hadn’t heard much of any “unrest” in Venezuela by the population that would normally be the trigger for something like this, if you could call anything like this “normal”.
Not surprised that our 2 most vocal opponents are upset, especially russia. I am wondering when china will pipe up since they are the main supplier of drug precursors to that country.
Indeed. Not Joe Biden’s move.
Joe Biden criticized Donald Trump’s stance on Venezuela and claimed that Trump “admired” thugs and dictators like Maduro. That post aged like he did:
“Trump talks tough on Venezuela, but admires thugs and dictators like Nicolas Maduro
“As president, I will stand with the Venezuelan people and for democracy.” – Joe Biden
They’ve condemned the raid and apparently had a delegation in the country that met with Maduro earlier on Friday.
Boo hoo.
With extra Kool-Aid and PB&J sandwiches, the Group Hug Crews are gonna go into overtime for sure!
This is how you know it was a good thing.
The memes make it even better:

And:
ROTFLMAO, loved every one of them!
Russia & Iran, or more explicitly Putin and the Ayatollahs, can go pound sand.
He can’t be happy with these developments. There has even been comments on the Russian social media space pointing to the difference between Russia’s attempt to topple Zelenskyy and Trump’s move to capture Maduro. This, in turn, is leading Russians to point out the difference between the US military and the Russian military, and by extension Putin’s competency as the commander of their military.
Let’s enable and steer the narcoboats to Iran and Russia, see how they handle the influx of drugs into their countries.
What? You mean the fishing boats with luggage on them?
The Russians would be more than happy to conscript them and then send them to Ukraine. Their justice system has been leveraged to bring up phony charges and infractions against many of their prisoners, which carry heavy penalties that includes extending their sentences.
However, if they sign a military contract, they get out of jail and get turned over to the military. These drug runners would be able to avoid jail altogether and go straight into the Russian military. They would be able to contribute to “over the water” logistics needs.
Russia and Iran can fuck themselves after sucking each others asshole.
Now THIS is a “coffee all over the keyboard” comment x 100. Well done, shipmate!
I’m watching Angry Cops live stream.
There is a silver lining for Nicolás Maduro. Remember those Sailors who have never been on a ship; who have never been underway? Maduro just clocked in more “sea time” than these sailors:
That reminds me of the comment Trump made when he landed in Vietnam for his talks with Kim Jong Un.
He couldn’t resist. He just had to say that, landing in “the Nam”, already had more time in country than Dick Blumenthal.
“Hanoi Jane” Fonda has more time in Vietnam than “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal!
And may she be buried there, alive or dead.
More time working at a McDonalds than Cholera Harris.
LMAO! Yes!
A former McDonald’s employee managed to capture a dictator.
That photo looks like sand art.
I’d say Maduro’s sand has run out.
How about a bit of keelhauling?
Just a little……
A little? Like off the Iwo Jima instead of the Ford?
President Trump posts a video of some strike footage, with “Fortunate Son” playing. Ironically, one of Russia’s objectives for their full-scale invasion of Ukraine was to capture President Zelinskyy. This on the heels of Trump warning the Iranians to not harm their protestors:
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/115832049332877712
Russia can have him, for all I care.
I’m guessing PFC Fogerty is gonna be REAL pissed when he gets word of that video. Love his music but, man, he is a raging leftist loony. 🤣
Gee, we must be doing something right!
And a part of the world is a better place starting now.
“Touchable”
the russians and the iranian regimes should be scared as this showed just how easy it would be to take out there leaders , especially Irans ayatolla, but after several years of fighting in ukraine and not winning anything but killing your own troops and other countries troops , nor korea , syria ,iran to name a few , Russia is weak , and putin knows it
They’ve pointed this out in the Russian social media space. They’ve been trying to get Zelenskyy for nearly four years while suffering catastrophic loses. The U.S. military swoops in, captures Maduro, and leaves without losing a man, in an operation that was well under an hour. The sharp contrast between the two militaries, plus nation distances for the targeted leaders, is glaringly obvious to the Russians.
From the videos I have seen, the citizens of Venezuela approve, and that’s all I need to see.
I’ve been prowling social media and have seen plenty of videos of Venezuelans cheering, IMO they’re celebrating like Cubans did when Castro croaked!
Many of them are old enough to remember Venezuela before communism. (Unlike the East Germans.)
Right or wrong-ness aside, if Nicolass Fatboyo really was propped up by those with whom we’re engaged…
It’s highly probable that they start fucking with us in not so nice ways; more drugs, critical infrastructure and mass gathering attacks, targeted assassinations, riots, our retired teacher wine aunts slicing tires of cars with Trump bumper stickers.
And if someone really gets froggy, a One Second After scenario ain’t outta the possible.
Prepare. (RIP, KoB)
Anyone with a death wish might wander by.
Once.
Another PLUS to the operation….
We may see an influx of people claiming to be part of this mission in 2-4 years.
No shit, there I was…Caracas, Venezuela. I was illuminating targets for the B-52’s on the raid from the apartment I had rented. All while this hooker was saying, “Donde está mi maldito dinero?”🤣
And, yes, I know there weren’t B-52’s involved in this operation.
The B-52 Stealth model was used. You just couldn’t see them. 😉
Proud of you President Trump. Now all Tyrants now are on notice.
Lars?
Right on cue, while many Venezuelans are celebrating, a man in a dress is calling for freeing Maduro:

My favorite.
Rapidly becoming a classic
I love it!
All that sweet, sweet oil revenue can be used to de-shithole the country instead of going into Little Nicky’s personal piggy bank
Tell that muslim faggit from Iran that we know where he lives, too.
Commissar must be angry he couldn’t get there first and hand off another suitcase of cash to help them out before our guys arrived.
Hizzoner Mamdani wasted no time beclowning himself.
NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani slams Trump capture of Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro | Fox News
The four-year train wreck has left the station- lap it up New York.
” and we left it at that”.. translation.. President Trump told him to F@*K off and worry about his city….
In NYC, the chickens have elected Colonel Sanders.
Then the room burst into laughter.
Russian and Iranian officials are scouring EBay for a crate of Pink Pussy Hats to show their displeasure.
And other news today is water is wet.
Should’ve been done a long time ago.
About right
😛😀
Iran has already had the FAFO dropped on them once. And if the protests keep going, looks like the Mullahs might have to find someplace new to hide.
I hear the Afghan Kush region is nice this time of year.
Perhaps here?
Ok, seriously…what the fuck. I don’t think I did anything different from the last time but now I got the picture linky to work. I fucking hate iPhones. I always got the picture to drop with my Samsung. Apple is the GE of the tech world. I loathe Apple.
Can we add Lars to the list?
