Loomer over the line
Seems Laura Loomer, the internet influencer who has some influence over Donald Trump, is now attacking Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll by questioning the Army’s commemorative honoring of Medal of Honor awardee CPT Florent Groberg.
The young captain literally tackled a suicide bomber wearing an explosive vest. In doing so he saved the lives of most of those present, including his brigade commander, now GEN James Mingus, Vice Chief of Staff of the Army.
Groberg tackled a suicide bomber during a 2012 mission, an act credited with saving numerous lives, including Gen. James Mingus, now the vice chief of staff of the Army, who was Groberg’s brigade commander at the time. Mingus was among the troops targeted by the bomber. The bomber’s vest detonated, wounding Groberg and causing severe damage to one of his legs and a traumatic brain injury. He required 33 surgeries across three years of care at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
Army Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin Griffin, 46; Army Maj. Thomas Kennedy, 35; Air Force Maj. Walter Gray, 38, and USAID official Ragaei Abdelfattah, 43, were killed, and several others were wounded.
In another post, Loomer continued, “Why is the Army under the new Army Secretary Dan Driscoll constantly getting caught elevating and promoting people who are on the record attacking President Trump?”
Her problem with Groberg? His MoH was awarded to him by President Obama. Oh, and he’s of French birth, and once spoke at the DNC in 2016. As far as she is concerned, that is attacking Trump.

Groberg said: “I am here tonight not as a Democrat or a Republican. I’m here as a proud immigrant to this country, a proud veteran of the United States Army and proud recipient of our country’s highest military honor.”
In his speech, he also recounted the incident in which he tackled a suicide bomber and was severely injured while on a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
His response to Loomer’s dragging him to attack Driscoll:
“Thirteen years ago today is my Alive Day, the day I nearly lost my life, and four of my brothers, including three Army leaders, never came home,” Groberg wrote on X, responding to Loomer. “I’ve served under presidents from both parties and will always honor my oath to this country. Yes, I spoke for 60 seconds at the DNC when asked about service and sacrifice, not politics. For me, 8/8 isn’t about parties. It’s about the lives we lost.”
What if he is a Democrat? If he is, he’s the kind of Democrat that party desperately needs instead of the likes of Jasmine Crockett and AOC.
And her…questioning the actions of a Medal of Honor awardee? She’s upset that he was born in FRANCE? (Wonder if she has ever heard the name Lafayette?) The commemoration was of Groberg’s actions, not his politics.
Tell us, Ms. Loomer: When did you serve? Or, alternatively, how many assholes with vests made by DuPont have YOU tackled?

What hell is an “influencer”?
Never saw the term until couple years ago when it became
common in the news. First thought it had to do with
pedophiles but lately seems like everyone in hollywood,
the news media and politicians are “influencers”.
Dunno, maybe I’m on to something.
IMHO the term “influencer” means that the person is a self-centered 24K asswipe who thinks that this world revolves around them.
The title of “Influencer” has just as much impact as “Reality Television Star” and “Porn Star”. Everyone is an influencer or star these days, nobody doing the grunt work. Where are the “Reality Television Supporting Cast” and “Porn Supporting Cast”? If everyone is a Star, then no one is a Star. And as to influencers, the only person Hack Stone knows that was influenced by someone else was when Psul of The Ballsack was influenced by Phil Monkress to attack people questioning Monkress’ claims of being a YS Navy SEAL.
In other words, someone with zero marketable skills and lives off an allowance from parents or spouse.

I never got one. It I had, it would have had Biden’s signature. Seems like when I declined a promotion ceremony and ghosted out of PEO Soldier, I really ghosted out. I got my DD-214 and retirement MSM certificate, and my iPERMs (online records system) was updated with my retirement orders and some other stuff (including a last minute ARCOM) at some point.

The vast vast majority of x users with a strong military following (AngryCops, FatElectrician, et al) have EN MASSE called out Loomer and her ridiculous position. He is entitled to his beliefs/opinions, and Groberg is entitled to the utmost respect and admiration for his service and being a MOH recipient.
