A septuagenarian shot into a home? I’m thinking there was either some alcohol involved or gramps was into a serious problem with dementia. I am glad no one inside the home was hurt. Good shooting on the part of the home owner.
Nothing gooderer than a twofer DRT on dumbasses that did the FA…and they FO. Unless, of course, one scores a twofer on the Vaunted (EARNED NEVER AWARDED) TAH Friday Weekend Open Thread FIRST. And no, Slow Joe, it is impossible to cheat. Not even the admin (thebesig) knows the exact time the Thread will drop. He can program the time to the minute, but not to the second. And THAT time is guarded more closely than CoCola or KFC’s Secret Recipes.
If the politicians start showing too much interest in my politics…it may get…interesting.
Ah yes, Colonel Colt’s Navy Revolver in a .36 caliber, giving a SALUTE to the Texas Navy. Such a fine example of Colt’s work that Messrs Griswold and Gunnison patterned their Brass Framed Griswold Revolver on the design. Accurate as all hell and fun to shoot. Full disclosure…they don’t float or swim, so don’t make the mistake I made and take a Navy Revolver for a boat ride.
Not as purty as the later 1860 Army Colt, nor as the 1858/1862 Remington, but there sure a lot of 1851s around.
But…but.., it was Sam’s first born after the Patterson. And it was very successful. It was likely the most commonly carried sidearm by officers. I like its shorter grip frame than the 1860 Army.
