I have been to Mexico once. When I was a kid and lived in San Diego my mother somehow thought it would be a great ideas to take us three kids (I was the oldest, in first grade I think) and go on a day trip to Tijuana. That was in the 1950s. Since then the closest I have gotten to Mexico was driving through El Paso and looking over at Juarez. I understand why people want to leave Mexico.The senorita can rest assured that I will never voluntarily trespass on the sacred soil of her beloved native land (which she seems to have deserted). As for abstaining from Mexican food, she can besa mi gringo coulo.

Just today I was required to take a lgbtqa++++ and dei course to go along with my yearly disability quiz, ethics test, sexual harassment test and I can’t remember the other 2. It was more of an indoctrination quiz on all subject matter. I tried answering them how I thought, or just being a smart ass, and the test wouldn’t advance until I picked the correct answer. 6 hours to do all 6 or 7 tests.

There was an “anonymous” comment section at the end of each test but it was attached to a test you just took while signed in under your name. Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I would have gotten phone calls from higher up than my higher ups before the week was done I imagine.
I did ask why the terms Black, Latino and Indigenous people were all capitalized, but white people were lower case letters. I may not hear anything back from them for that, but it will prove I did read at least part of the BS.
I hear ya, I have to do the same thing every couple of years or so. I need this job to retire, as meager as the pension will be.
