Man shot at after attempting to break into Anderson Co. home

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said a person was shot after attempting to break into a home.The incident happened on Don Avenue, deputies said.
The suspect reportedly walked into the house, and when the homeowners spotted them, they ran from the scene.
The homeowners shot at the suspect but did not hit them, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies stated that they now have the suspect in custody, whose identity has not been released.

LAKE WALES, Fla. (WFLA) — A shooting in Lake Wales ended with the shooter walking free and the man with a gunshot wound behind bars.“He actually had my daughter’s book bag on,” John Coles said.
It was just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday when Coles said he woke up to the sound of his dog barking.
“As I looked out of my room door from my bed, I seen a Caucasian male literally peeking down the steps,” he said.
A stranger was inside of his home.
Lake Wales police identified the man as 34-year-old Cameron McGuire.
They said he entered the home through the kitchen window.

I’ll attempt to be FIRST to comment, being as Tox hasn’t shown up yet. May and/or may not make it. Tis amazing how quickly a perp can remember pressing business elsewhere when an armed homeowner objects to them entering their home and lays down some grazing fire. I would recommend that the perp find another line of work and some range time for the citizen.
