Man dies after being shot while stealing car in Philadelphia: Police

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A man died after he was shot while stealing a vehicle in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood, according to police.It happened around 3:08 p.m. Friday at Frankford Avenue and Pratt Street.
Police say a 29-year-old man left his Honda running while using the ATM. That’s when the 48-year-old suspect jumped into the car and drove off.
The car owner fired one gunshot and hit the suspect in the head.
Police say the wounded man crashed the vehicle into another car at Pratt Street outside the Frankford Transportation Center.

I very much applaud the fact that there is one less car thief around. I think however the shooter is likely to face more jail time than the thief would have in that very blue state and city.
