Someone sent us their work on this fellow, Dan Stitt. He claims to be a former Navy SEAL and somehow his new wife got the idea that he served for 12 years, made the rank of Navy Captain, that he’d been wounded twice and he’d been twice a POW;
Well according to Don Shipley, Mr Stitt is not, nor has he ever been a Navy SEAL. The Navy, when asked about his service, replied “Who?”

My great uncle was a POW in WW2, and I’m acquainted with several former POWs from both the Vietnam War and Operation DESERT STORM.
Not one of them views their experience of having been held as a POW as being in any way glamorous or as something to brag about. In fact, they prefer not to even speak about it. And they’re unanimous in their statements that no one in their right mind would ever want to be captured and held as a POW.
It’s mind-boggling that so many of these poser assclowns want to falsely claim POW status.

A bit of trivia: Chances of even running into a Desert Storm POW are probably 1 million times less probable than meeting Sophia Loren at the .99 cent store in Chicago during a riot. There were only 6 total coalition POW’s.
We have extremely low numbers for the Gulf War.

When you met one of those Desert Storm POW’s, you should have went out and bought several lottery tickets.

Hey everyone you are 100% correct about him. Any vets or military want to call him out in person I get it!
I do have a problem with posts mentioning his family and kids. First he is not married to the woman at summit church and her son is not his. Second his daughter is my step daughter and lives with me and her mom. Everyone is a victim of this Psycho including my step daughter. Have at him but don’t hassle his victims. I agree there should be an active investigation and I can tell you there is more to it than just posing as a navy seal.

We’ve tries to find deeper things on Dab and have yet to find anything. Criminal records in different counties he’s lived in. I am curious to know the full story on the other things he has done. Another thing you can tell your daughter is to not take our word for it either – do her own research. There is a button at the top of the page showing how to request military records. Also, there are online databases of POWs she/you can check. He’s not on any of them.
Trust but verify. And get the docs from someone other than him.
