The folks at Military Phony send us their work on this fellow, John L Turek. John claims to be an Air Force pararescueman and that he was “wounded” while he was in Basic Training where he also caught the PTSD;
It’s good that he limited his service to discussions about basic training, because he that’s all the time he spent in the Air Force;
His one month of service also included those two weeks that the military is essentially “off duty” over Christmas and New Year Day – so his service was actually less than a month.

I assume that he was serving as a target. Money was tight back then and if a plastic target was unusable, the call went out for volunteers. Helluva man. Volunteered 16 times but was only hit twice.

Wow, I thought the AF basic was easier than high school jv tennis practice…he managed to get shot twice and get PTSD?
I never realized that a month at AF basic over the winter holiday season would be harder than infantry school…maybe I should have chosen the AF instead of Army 11B.
couldn’t even hack BMTS….and then claims he was a PJ….the guys delusional….probably would’ve cried like a baby, if he had a flightline AFSC,….working aircraft in rain, sleet, snow from tropical, desert to Arctic and all conditions in between and mostly at night…He’s in 1 month at xmas time,the easiest time to go thru BMTS I would think and then says to the world he is wounded in BMTS no less, what did he do slam his pecker too hard and break it and it became perpetually limp, or was it a failure to participate in all the activities to USAF standards that is BMTS ?

Twice wounded in boot camp? Maybe he fell from the top rack. Twice. Or maybe a blanket party. Twice.
Someone above references bedwetting. We actually had a guy in Navy boot camp who was a washout (see what I did there?) because he was a bedwetter. He swore he never had a problem prior to enlistment, and that it was caused by stress. The CCs actually tried to work with him. They got him some sort of plastic barrier and gave him a few weeks to get squared away, but he still peed almost every night. Guys in the bay who woke during the night would wake him and get him to the head. Yeah, he peed in the head when woken, but then peed the bed, also. He was really a good guy and we tried to help him, but to no avail. He was discharged after, oh, 3-4 weeks.
Also had two guys swapping spit the first week in boot. This was 68 so they were gone in a flash. Maybe today they would have a meritorious mast and promotion. /sarc about the mast. True about the story.
Actually, Chief, trying to read the scrambled English, it looks like he was “wounded” once in bootcamp on 6 Dec 1989 and then again on 11 Sep 2001. I can’t figure out which “wounding” produced the self diagnosed PTSD, though.
Maybe in boot camp they gave him a military grade AR-15 to shoot, once. [GASP]

This waste product has told so many lies and they are all catching up with him. He has “got” PTSD 4 times…seeing a friend shot, dog almost dying, 911 and from a “shop” accident. He also claims to have been an underwater welder here in panama city, florida working for the military, retired USAF, retired Firefighter, dog breeder, owner of a “huge” company in Florida (where he has not even become a resident)….so much bull,,,,,so little truth…one sorry sack of dog manure.
He is back in Ct.now, a caretaker of a 25 yr old disabled girl. Thank you Carl for posting about what a disgusting person he is. I made sure that her parents know, but he may have already brainwashed them. Wrote him a note letting him know I know all about him and will be watching his every move. What a piece of sh#+!!
