Christopher Allen Fraley; phony Special Forces and wounded soldier

| March 18, 2016

Christopher Fraley

Someone sent us their work on this fellow, Christopher Allen Fraley. A guy advertised to sell something on the internet, back in January, and this fellow, Fraley, responded to the ad. Without any prompting, Fraley started telling the seller about how he was an active duty soldier, and that he’d just been blown up in an IED detonation in Afghanistan and sent these pictures to bolster his claims (I guess that’s how he negotiates for a lower price on an item);

His ID on Twitter, is @soldier18D, I guess he’s supposed to be a Special Forces soldier just by virtue of his handle.

Fraley Twitter

In the wedding picture, he’s wearing Desert Storm service medals, a Combat Infantry Badge and a 3rd Infantry Division combat patch. A check of the Manpower Data website, he had no active duty during Desert Storm. The only thing that the National Personnel Records Center could find on him was when he enlisted in the Army Reserve in 2003;

Fraley Enlistment

He wasn’t Infantry, he was a medical supply guy, a 68J after spending a few years as a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical supply guy. I could find no active duty service for this guy. It looks like he was mobilized once, but they sent him home before he deployed a month later;

Fraley mob orders

Fraley de-mob orders

And he was discharged from the Reserves in June 2009, the same date that he was reduced in rank from Specialist (E-4) to Private (E-1) on the same set of orders;

Fraley Reduction Discharge

But, that’s just like Special Forces.

Word.

You can tell because he was to important to have bothered shaving in that ID card photo.

Must have just returned from the bush…..

IDC SARC

68J….well that’s just like being an 18D.

Tony180a

I think we have a candidate for the old “Goat Lab” LMAO

Snotcrow

Check out his HALO talk on his facebook. It is a gem.

ChipNASA

FULL Shitbag.
Never go there.

Ex-PH2

Reduced in rank? Naughty, naughty.

I don’t care what he did to get that.

A Proud Infidel®™

Busted from E4 to E1? That says heavy duty dickstepping turd burglar to me and his getting sent home before deployment makes him sound like the type that units end up being glad to get rid of. I bet it’s only a matter of time until he ends up being part of Bubba & Thor’s cellblock harem!

Green Thumb

When I look at this turd, the term “taintslappiness” pops into my mind.

I love when they wear the tab on the wrong shoulder.

Also rocking PSG rank on the ACU’s.

Just another case of everyone wants to be Infantry but no one really wants to do that whole Infantry thing first.

Maggot.

Tony180a

Come on GT, he was a combat Green Beret/Ranger before he was assigned to USASOC. Amazing how that wrong shoulder tab always trips posers up lol

HMCS(FMF) ret.

Taintickling manhole inspector, first class Fraley reporting as the duty booty General Thor!!!!

USAF Ret

Also on his left shoulder where most people wear their blood type is the only true thing on his uniform: “A POS” (A Piece of Shit)

Hondo

Hmm. Seem to remember that a free reduction to E1 comes with a General/OTH discharge. And I’m also pretty sure that a General/OTH discharge can be given to someone in the Reserve Components who simply stops showing up to drills.

Hopefully one of our frequent commenter JAGs can confirm or refute the above. I’m working for memory, which unlike one of our frequent commenters is definitely NOT infallible.

Have no idea if that’s what happened or not. But it would fit.

Hayabusa

I believe the good ol’ Baked Chicken Dinner includes an all-expenses-paid reduction in grade to E-1, as well. The fact that the discharge and reduction in grade happened on the same day is suggestive, if not conclusive.

Hack Stone

It’s a coincidence. Like when your birthday lines up with a federal holiday.

Speaking of birthdays, a shout out to everyone’s favorite software CEO and Vice President of Sales! He turns 60 today. Coincidentally, I was looking I bRhe Washington Post Archives, and they reported that on this date in 1956, the ugliest baby ever was born in the National Capital Region. On the plus side, it tested positive for lucky sperm, so he had that going for him. Which is nice.

W2

I wonder if Elaine celebrated his birthday with him? Probably not. She was probably too busy looking for “black swan” events to have a piece of cake.

Hondo

I believe you are correct (again, not positive – so any JAGs reading, please confirm/correct if you have time). However, BCDs are only possible as part of a court-martial sentence. Court-martials are exceptionally rare for USAR personnel not serving on active duty. Admin discharges are not anywhere near as rare.

MrBill

Reduction to E-1 is automatic with an OTH. A General doesn’t result in a reduction in and of itself. Not to say that someone couldn’t be reduced by a 15, for example, then discharged. Having the reduction and discharge in the same order tells me it was probably an OTH.

thebesig

I’m with Hondo on this one. When a reserve Soldier stops reporting to drill, and the unit exhausts efforts to contact that Soldier to return to drill, after missing enough drill weekends, that Soldier is processed for unsatisfactory performance discharge.

A series of actions takes place, to include “U” letters sent to the Soldier’s address after each drill missed, Notice of Separation sent when the Soldier receives enough “U” letters, etc.

When the ETS packet receives its final approval, orders are generated. Two things are entered on this ETS order. One, the Soldier is notified of his/her reduction in rank to E1 and two, the Soldier is notified that he/she has been discharged with an Other Than Honorable characterization.

This kind of discharge order, showing up for a reservist, hints at this kind of discharge characteristic as well as the circumstances leading to this specific discharge.

The unit also has the option to involuntarily transfer a Soldier in this situation into the Individual Ready Reserve, but that’s provided that the Soldier has future mobilization potential. If the scenario that Hondo is hinting it is what actually happened, then Christopher Allen Fraley stepped on his ding dong in a way that caused the unit to not see him as having any mobilization potential.

MrBill

It’s been a while since I’ve done any algebra, but in this case I’m pretty sure that (b)(6) = OTH.

Hondo

“Great minds think alike” – and apparently sometimes also do so at the same time. (smile)

(b)(6) where b=1/6, and it’s simplified to 6b. (6)(1/6) = 1, or (1/6)(6) = 1, his discharge rank.

On another note here, a way bit seriously Lol..
we had a guy that Looks just like the person on the ID card

what are the odds ????

You know what got to me on this POS? The truck pic. I found it after 20 or so minutes of searching. First, it was a USMC vehicle, not Army. Second, I have identified the Marines that were in it when it ran over an IED. None was named Chris Fraley. I know that you are shocked. I can see it in your faces. The event occurred on 16 February 2007 and the Marines inside were a sniper team. I am happy to say that all survived, with the driver the most seriously hurt.

So, Fraley here posts a pic of the blown-up vehicle along with pics of what we are to believe are pics of his injured leg, allowing viewers to conclude–w/o his ever saying so, as far as I can tell–that the Humvee was what he had been in when the IED took the truck out. I am sure that he hurt his leg. A great many people hurt themselves while water skiing and such. F him.

NECCSEABEECPO

This SHIT BAG had the nerve to get some photo of a blown Vic and then take some photos of his broken leg probably falling down some hill running from his own shadow. This ASS hat has no flipping clue at what it is to be down range go out side the wire in a convoy and wonder when your going to get hit and then boom it happens.

Was in a IED hit Nov 5, 2010 at 09:11 AM and it sucks, we were lucky we took the MRAPS that the security team is dual qualified we ran High Profile with MRAPS and low with up armored SUV’s you freaking pucker up when in them. Luckily the TEAM lead had to change up from SUV’s to MRAPS and we also got lucky it wasn’t a EFP. Anyway we got bruised and some minor damage not catastrophic like the Marines Vic. Shit bag wouldn’t even have a clue I hate these shit bag’s. Telling a story in a bar not ok but they don’t take the time to get photos and play the BS.

A Proud Infidel®™

He COULD have broken his leg while pole dancing with Dalton Coldiron at The Blue Oyster, just sayin’…

2/17 Air Cav

Anyone want to guess when Fraley asks for the SV post to be taken down for the sake of “the children?” Tell you what, Fraley. Better call the kids in for a little sit-down. It will be painful telling them the truth but not as painful as that felt by the driver of that truck.

B Woodman

And he currently resides. . . .where? (Sorry, I can’t access the link at work)

2/17 Air Cav

He’s down Louisiana way, I believe.

Tony180a

I know (GROAN). Just more waste that needs to be flushed out of a floodgate.

B Woodman

Can’t ya just feed him to the gaters in the back bayou?
“But officer, he just got. . . . . lost.”

Martinjmpr

In a Van Down By the River? Oh, no, wait that was Chris FARLEY. Never mind….

Jan

Baton Rouge Louisiana….he was at one time attached to the 79th I believe, in Mississippi. He hurt his leg sure enough, but not in service. I met him.

Jan

Correction….the 75th

Silentium Est Aureum

Better yet, tell the kiddies what they probably already know:

Daddy is an old school shitbag from way back. And judging by the look of it, hasn’t improved much.

Skyjumper

At least he had one valid patch on his uniform.

The “A POS” tab on his right shoulder above the airborne tab.

I’m guessing in this case it stands for “A PIECE OF SHIT” !!

Climb to Glory

This dude looks like a professional crank stepper. E-4 to E-1 and out the door that fast. That’s telling. By the looks of him I’m guessing drugs or inappropriate relationship with a minor. He has that windowless van look to him. Shitbag.

Skysoldier4life

How do these guys spend any time in service and still end up getting something as simple as the tabs they haven’t earned, on the wrong side of the uniform. Picture wearing that piece of shit false dog coat he has there. Tower of Power is on his right side, over his ‘combat patch’. And the blood thing. Omg. Worthy of a throat punch.

JimV

How do you go from E-4 to E-1 not receive a dishonable discharge?

A Proud Infidel®™

For an E4 to get reduced to an E1 merely requires a Field Grade Article 15. E4 and below can be reduced to E1 and E5 and E6 can be reduced one grade. My opinion is that not only did he screw the pooch, he was such a dirtbag that his CoC saw that approach as the quickest and easiest way to get rid of him.

Hondo

DD requires a court-martial, JimV. There are a number of other ways someone can go from E4 to E1 and be discharged.

A Proud Infidel®™

In one of my AD units we had a malcontent barracks lawyer who was knocked from E4 to E1 with a FG Article 15 and had quite an attitude afterward. He later talked about how the BDE CO had called him into his office and bluntly told him that any further funny business would be recognized with a BCD (He was already getting thrown out via QMP). Does a BCD require a Court Martial or can a FG Officer impose it?

MrBill

It takes a CM conviction.

3/17 Air Cav

It appears, after viewing the documents, that there was a visitation battle between him and his ex-wife. The male child claimed that he smoked weed with Chris. The child also claimed Chris and he, preformed oral sext on each other. I’m pretty sure it’s the the same Chris as it comes out of Louisiana.

You never know about the truthfulness of kids when there is a custody battle but that’s what the kid says occurred.

2/17 Air Cav

Good. That means he knows that many people know what he’s up to. I hope he stops by to say hello. I’ll be more than happy to share the source for my comment above regarding the truck pic with him. Grabbing a photo from the net does not mean that the photo is abandoned and that the real story behind the photo doesn’t exist or can’t be found. Please let us know when he calls you to demand that this SV post be removed or cries about the embarrassment this will cause others.

Prior Service

Having worn the 3rd ID patch on my left side for 8 years, and on my right side every day since 2006, I can tell you that his is rotated ninety degrees off.

ABNDVR

Fellas…

I just LOVE his “Proof Pic” with the bloody leg. I mean c’mon. The bored to hell nurse woth her smartphone? that bit of blood with a otherwise fine leg NOT even fixiated. IED in TOW ey? looks more like cutting accident while gardening at home

Fuck you

AskaMarine

If I’m not mistaken, when his Twitter page was up, he had pictures of the same injury. Forgot how he got it…it was tied in with his fishing pictures, so I thought maybe he hurt himself on his boat. Not sure if that is a nurse in the picture…could be wife? friend? relative?

Pretty low to steal pictures and claim as your own…so famaliar: the politician from Washington State, Tim Poe of America’s Got Talent and of course, Daniel-San of Coconut, Florida.

Ex-PH2

Small accident trimming his hooves.

AskaMarine

Pig, Cow, Jackass or Satan???

2/17 Air Cav

Twitter page down. He is in full retreat. Now, how does he get ahold of all of those screen shots and, of course, this thread?

Claw

This is what happens when you drink too much Brawndo and end up bateing your life away..

He looks like Corporal “Average Joe” Bauers, but thinks like Frito Pendajo.

AskaMarine

He will probably grow his hair out, pull it back in a pony-tail, put on a Red/White and Blue bandana, then get a job counseling those with issues due to being in the military.

Oh, and most likely, he will have a support group or an enabler who will embellish his or her military service as well…

As said before: What a fine example to set for children, young adults and others.

Claw

Yeah, as near as I can tell, everything is still copacetic in the Killer and his PV9 enabler lives. They are both living in hog heaven and don’t give a shit about coming clean. I check in each day at the various websites that list their lies, but except for the both of them being dumped by the *whenvetsgather* organization, nothing has changed for them.

It always saddens me quite a bit this time of the year when I think back to the events of 17 March 1972 when the young man who was my Door Gunner up at Phu Bai with me, (along with 10 other 1st CAV Troopers) were KIA when the UH-1 helicopter they were flying on exploded in mid flight and crashed into the river outside of Bien Hoa.

And when I think that the Killer, who probably never logged a flight hour in any kind of a helicopter, claimed to be doing the same job as them, I just want to kick him (and his straw grasper enabler) in the ass so hard that their eyeballs pop out.

So, am I a little bitter about the Killer’s lies? Yes, I am.

So, RIP to those 11 soldiers and condolences to their families. May their sacrifice always be remembered.

Joseph Williams

Phu bAI has bad memories for me too . I had a gunner and a Corpsman wounded bad on a possible false and ambush. Another finance clerk , this one from a 46 squadron. The pilots got nicks. So this scrum of the earth really pisses me off. For his health he should never tell

jonp

It’s been awhile since I was in. Can someone explain his camo’s to me? Why is he wearing what looks like his blood type on his left shoulder with an Airborne over a SF Command? patch without an SF Tab? and how come he is wearing his Ranger and SF on the right without an Airborne Tab over a 3rd ID patch?

Tony180a

Because he’s All FUCKED UP! That’s a USASOC patch. Posers haven’t gotten the email that Special Forces and Ranger tabs are only worn on the proper shoulder….. If they can’t figure it out I’ll never tell.

Tony180a

You are only awarded the SF tab upon graduation front the SFQC. Just being assigned to a Group, USASFC, USASOC or USSOCOM does not authorize wearing an SF tab.

Hondo

The uniform is called the ACU. It was the Army’s standard field uniform for about 10 years staring in the mid-2000s. It’s recently been replaced.

I believe some units, when deployed, prescribed the blood type patch to be worn. If I recall correctly, that wasn’t universally done. Haven’t been deployed for a number of years now, so I may be mis-remembering that.

The SF and Ranger tabs are on his right shoulder because he’s a dumbcluck.

thebesig

It’s not universally done. We have our blood type on the band that goes around the ACH, along with our last name, rank, and an alpha numeric combination consisting of the first letter of our last name and our last 4.

We’re also in the transition period from the ACU to the OCP. I’m using OCPs as a “garrison uniform”, and ACUs as a “field uniform” until we switch completely to the OCPs (end of transition period). Our TA 50/OCIE is still “ACU”.

Green Thumb

Why don’t we just upgrade his discharge and call it even.

He served, right?

Seems to be a push to help shitbags these days.

OTH or General = Shitbag.
