Tuesday morning feel good stories

| July 21, 2015

Andy11M sends us our first story this morning, where, in Steele Creek, North Carolina, young Tarion Deshawn Henley tried to turn his life around by pistol-whipping some hapless apartment building residents in the stairwell. He struck them both on their noggins and demanded their cash. The two victims turned the tables on Tarion, took his weapon and held him until the police arrived.

Reader “Ohio” sends us link from Charleston, West Virginia where a man, determined to win the love of a good woman he had met on a dating website, beat and strangled her at gun point. I guess he was really getting into it because he laid the gun down and the woman retrieved it for him and gave it back to him one bullet at a time and the fellow was DRT.

In Dekalb County, Georgia, a homeowner asked a relative to check on his home while he was out of town. The relative encountered a squatter in the home who was only trying to turn his life around. Still waiting on details, but Terrance Medina, the relative has been charged with murder, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

In King County, Washington, a 70-year-old man defended his 65-year-old roommate when the roommate was assaulted by a gentleman who, I’m sure had just begun to turn his life around. The 70-year-old shot the gentleman at least twice and the police found him at the local hospital with his newly-acquired orifices. The officers are currently making long term arrangements for the gentleman at the expense of the taxpayers. Elderly homeowners had better shoot as many criminals as they can while they still have their guns.

Good reading over the morning Cuban Coffee.
And, why do people use those dating websites?
Sorta like going to the crazy house and expecting to find “normal” people there.

Bobo

I find the term “squatter” offensive to those who can not own their own home. From now on, I deem these poor people “undocumented tenants.”

OC

LOL, Bobo.
Ask Nicki about UTs. She finally got her house back.

I wonder if the Prosecutor charging the homeowner’s relative with murder isn’t some overzealous left-wing crusader wanting to make political hay over the situation? I’d be interested to learn more about that story. I got a kick out of the DRT story from Charleston!

Hondo

That’s entirely possible. The Atlanta metro area has far more than its fair share of libidiots and fools. I think most of those kind in GA moved to Hot ‘Lanta years ago.

“Tarion Deshawn Henley”
From the first two names alone, let me guess this idiot’s skin pigmentation. . . . And it ain’t the same as Rachel Dolezal’s birth color.

As for the senior citizen in the fourth story, good shooting, considering all the circumstances. Maybe if he had pulled that trigger JUST ONE MORE TIME, he could have saved the taxpayers a whole lot of money. Just sayin’. . . .

I’m confused, not about the dating website, but about Georgia. I thought Georgia was user-friendly.

God Bless Texas. Squatters are Trespassers here. Trespassers can be shot. I almost got one a couple of weeks ago…

GDContractor

And you can bait ’em.

nbcguy54ACTUAL

And spotlight them too.

PH2 – Like a lot of other states (Colorado, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Texas come to mind) Georgia is a largely conservative state with a couple of bastions of liberal support. I’m guessing a sweeping generalization would be that in most states the bigger cities swing left while the other parts of the state that don’t depend on Federal welfare as much swing right.

I grew up in GA, and while normally very friendly to gun rights, there is one situation that can get you burned, and that is when you enter a building and confront an intruder. If you’re already IN the building when the intruder comes in, no problem. But if you know or suspect an intruder is in the building as you approach, and you then enter and confront an intruder and kill him, yes, you can be charged with murder. The one exception is if you think someone might be in the building with the intruder and there is no time to wait for the police to help them. And this isn’t the first time this situation has occurred in GA, either.

Good to know that our left wing loon Dave Hardin will be reading this and gritting his teeth while cussing us under his breath !!!
I love great stories like these.

Damn. Reading about poor young Tarion DEE-Shawn just about broke my heart in two. 😉

LOL..DRT..the only way to do it. Fella got sued by the idiot who broke into his house. Got him five times in the back while he was running and idiot spent 5 months in the local VA HOSPITAL. Vet lost the case. He yelled I’m going so I kept shooting back at him. He missed. Happened in 1971, and we still laugh about it when the owners son retells the story.
