Rahn sentenced
I know you remember phony Ranger sergeant major Richard Rahn who injected himself into veteran events in Minnesota last year. Apparently, according to a link that Chip sent us, the courts have sentenced him to five years in prison, not on the stolen valor charges, but on weapons charges, since he was a felon in possession of a firearm;
Richard Arthur Rahn was convicted Tuesday of two felony charges of possessing weapons after being convicted of a crime of violence. According to the criminal complaint on the charges, an investigation regarding allegations of Rahn impersonating a highly decorated, non-commissioned military officer led to investigation on the gun charges.
The fact that he had weapons in his possession was discovered during the investigation of his phony finery. That’s all I’m asking for – sure it would be nice if he’d been convicted for stolen valor, but more importantly, the crimes that he was also committing were discovered because of his play-acting. If prosecutors everywhere could take a lesson away from this case, I’d like that lesson to be that valor thieves are almost always guilty of something else. Investigations of stolen valor will undoubtedly turn up something else that would get a criminal off of the street.
Anyone want to argue that Minnesota is not safer tonight because Rahn is in prison? The only reason that he was busted is because he became an internet sensation in his uniform, and he pissed off a bunch of vets.

Too bad the stolen valor couldn’t have been used as something to exacerbate the charges for this floating turd.
Hear, hear!
Splash. Out.
One down; many more to go.
Word.
No argument from me about it, but since this is a conviction for a weapons charge, every time he does something stupid (assuming he gets out of jail), it will just continue to pile up on him.
He’ll probably pick another branch of the service next time, although frankly, I just can’t envision him in 13s and jumper.
He’d almost certainly be wearing khakis if he chose to falsely claim prior Navy service, Ex-PH2 – he’d claim at least CPO. Here he claimed to be a Ranger SGM before he got busted.
Deara Dick (can I call you ‘Dick’?),
Have fun making new friends and learning to share.
Try to hold out for the king size Snickers, not the fun size.

Every veteran

NICE! Mebbys Jonn could attach the mug shot to the top of the article.
Holy crap he looks older with hair. He’ll have to promote himself to flag rank by the time he gets out.
From the Movie “The Other Guys” I hope you like the taste of prison food…..and penis!
Ummm…what’s wrong with the taste of penis? It reminds me of the taste of the house dressing at the gay bar.
sincerely
John “Faker 6” Giduck
Nice fake uniform there; hope he enjoys the all-too-real assreaming he’s about to receive…
The prisoner jumpsuit suits him better than his fake ASU.
Toss that salad, Dick!
With jelly or syrup?
With croutons…Dick like him some CROUTONS!!!
“Willmar police then found that Rahn did have felony convictions in Florida and Washington.”
And at least one of them was for a crime of violence. At a certain age, bad actors throw in the towel. Rahm is an exception. At the tender age of 54, he has two new felony convictions. I really can’t much blame the guy for playing dress-up. His actual life accomplishments seem to be all criminal.

He’s going to have to explain away another gap in his resume. Maybe he could claim, “Command Inmate Major” for that time period served.
After he gets out of prison, he could claim to “serve” recently.
Hoping that his time instead of being “Served” it will be “Receiving”
Julio, Bubba, and Thor have a new friend coming!
