Joseph R. “Joe” Weeks, Sr.; phony PJ

| August 30, 2014

Joseph Weeks

Scotty sends us his work on Joseph Weeks, Sr. who apparently keeps trying to edit the Wikipedia entry for United States Air Force Pararescue to give himself some cred. He wants to be known for earning a Silver Star in Nicaragua when Anastacio Somoza was deposed in 1979. Apparently, he’s only pissing off the PJ community;

Joseph Weeks Wiki

As you can see, the PJ community says that he’s never been to training for that particular specialty. In fact, the Air Force says that he spent a little over two years in uniform, in Arkansas;

Joseph Weeks FOIA

In the picture above, he’s wearing jump wings and a Silver Star and a pararescue badge, none of which appear in his thin records. He was a security dude, but I guess that wasn’t good enough for him. As far as I know, there were no Silver Stars awarded for the evacuation of our embassy in Nicaragua. I’m sure that will be part of his excuse – it’s secret, well, besides the fact that he wearing it and bragging about it. The evacuation of the US embassy happened in July 1979, he joined in March of that year, so, how many months is PJ training? Probably more than four.

So, I hope he enjoys his new-found fame.

Interesting. I was part of a 3-aircraft/crew det sent to Howard AFB in Panama when the Sandanistas started all that shit. We were flying recon missions along the cost as well as overland using our FLIR and other camera systems, as well as our radar/ESM. Good times.

Interestingly enough, our aircraft were rigged for airdropping both people and supplies, using a temporary static line installed down the tactical tube, as well as the tie-down rings on the fuselage floor.

We had guys come aboard to check things out but I am positive that everyone of them was Navy or Marine Corps. The only AF guys we saw were running the chow hall, pulling security or driving the fuel/waste trucks & crew buses. I will admit that it was a good time, though they certainly got their mileage out of us. Flew us ragged, they did.

I also remember that the 101st had guys there as well, and I believe that Jonn was one of them.

But, for the several weeks we were there, and all the briefings we attended, not once were PJ’s mentioned. SEALs, Airborne, Our guys, other nation’s aircraft, and various other groups/departments/etc, but I can honestly recall no mention of PJ’s being involved, and those briefings were pretty damned thorough.

So yeah, this guy’s a putz.

AW1 Tim

I kinda think it’s fitting that there’s a porto-john in the background, almost like he was posing with it. 🙂

GDcontractor

Yes! And further proof that shit does in fact, roll downhill.

Tracy Wilkinson

P3 guy?

I was an ordie in -69

nbcguy54

Looks like one of the Village People. Are you that’s PJ and not BJ??

nbcguy54

The word “sure” should be in there somewhere dammit… Need an edit button.

AverageNCO

“The details of the this operation are still Classified to this day.”
Well if that was the case, you would have had to sign a non-disclosure statement Joey. That statement would advise you don’t plaster stuff on Wikipedia.
That is an interesting softball uniform he is wearing. It can’t be biker attire. Each time I’ve suggested that posers like to be part of the biker community I get blasted. So he must be at some sort of slow-pitch tournament.

GDcontractor

Oh he’s a better biker alright
http://www.sonsofmalta.org/executive-board.html. I swear I think this clown got the boxed DVD set for Sons of Anarchy, watched the entire series in one weekend, and then decided to start his own MC The Sons Of Malta.

Just don’t tell The Other Whitey he’s a firefighter. Shhhh.

Jabatam

AverageNCO, I don’t remember anything you specifically said. However, I have seen many people on here making broad blanket statements about MCs and RCs being full of fakes. If you’ve made any statements like that, then yes I, and others like me, have corrected your erroneous statement(s). Not everyone wearing colors, MC or RC, are fakes. Lumping every biker into the same shit bag category because of the actions of a few is no better than anti-gunners calling all gun owners crazy right-wing nut jobs. Are there a lot of bikers guilty of stolen valor? I’m sure there are. There are probably an equal number that aren’t though, if not more

AverageNCO

I never said EVERYONE wearing colors is a fake. I have many friends who are part of the military biker community. Military biker groups provide a great outlet for fellowship and I know they do a lot of great charity work in their communities. But Jabatman it doesn’t take a much time spent on this blog to see a pattern. Phonies seem to able to prance around in their fakery for extended periods of time before they get called out. A very well respected contributor on this blog told me he will never go to Rolling Thunder again because of all the fakers he encountered while he was there. YES, I am fully aware that VFW/American Legion/AMVETS halls also have BIG problems with posers. It’s simply my unscientific opinion that posers seem to be attracted to the biker scene, and they are making you guys look bad. Biker groups need to do a better job of self-inspection.

Jabatam

I also prefaced everything I said above with “I don’t remember anything you specifically said” and “If you’ve made statements like that…”

Chill dude. If the shoe fits, then it fits. If not, the let it slide off your back

Jabatam

As far as self-inspection, I can only self-inspect my own Club. I have no authority, nor do I have any responsibility, to vet members of another Club or organization. Believe me, that drives me up the wall because I want to so bad. The only thing that is within my power is what happens in my own Club though and it is the same for every other MC, RC, or SC out there…they stay in their lane. Some care about stolen valor, some don’t though as it has nothing to do with their mission. You’re right that it does seem like every other guy busted on here is wearing colors of some kind but you’re also only seeing a small part of it though

Thunderstixx

Thing of it is that if we bikers find out about the fakery we let the puyke know that we know and get their asses out of anything that the riders are doing.
I’m independent but I also know that there are fakers everywhere in every job there is.
I have never met a truck driver, supply clerk or admin Vietnam Veteran. They were all killers and in Laos, Cambodia etc and they were all secret missions too.
I just walk away when I hear that shit or press them further to out them.
The Legion Riders and Patriot Guard Riders demand a DD-214 to stop this from happening more than it already is.

A Proud Infidel®™

I hear you on that, T-stixx. I used to be an OTR (Over the Road)Trucker, and I endured more than a few nutty-assed war stories, the most memorable coming from another driver telling me how he and his compadres were not supposed to have been allowed to come back Stateside, and how they commandeered a C130 with a loaded howitzer aimed out the back to deal with any aircraft trying to shoot them down. That critter was either as full of shit as a trainload of Christmas geese or some of the critters “internet-fried” here on TAH and other sites!!

Kinda old ET1

I like the chains he has to keep his vest closed, lose the gut fat boy.
Oh and the phoney hardware while you’re at it.

Instinct

I remember that mission. I was in middle school at the time and the Coast Guard came around and selected me to join their secret SEAL team. I didn’t have to go to boot camp or anything.

My swim buddy for that one was Cookie Monster. I swear to god I still wake up at night remembering some of the shit he did down there. He was a hard core killing machine. Just kept screaming “C is for COOKIE, MOTHER FU**ER!!” and snorting powdered sugar.

Course, it’s all classified and I can’t talk about any of it.

Mustang1LT

Got you beat. I was rolling with The Count on my secret missions. That crazy fucker…..One, one dead motherfucker! Ah, Ah, Ah! Scared the shit out of the bad guys with all the lightning. Couldn’t do recon with him because it’s kinda hard to sneak up on somebody and get a count of personnel and equipment with all the thunder and lightning. Good times though!

Instinct

Where’s the damn ‘Like’ button? 😀

John "Faker 6" Giduck

I hate phony PJs! Let me tell you my tragic fake PJ tale…

So I’m %*#$ing this girl in the ass on christmas morning a few years back. I was on a diet so after a lean breakfast of sprinkled donuts, palm oil, and an Outback Blooming Onion, we got up to open presents.

The tree was decorated as a cartridge in a bare tree although I had my medals for valor and spetsnaz berets ready to add. I quickly grabbed my present and tore open my package, well, actually it took me some time to fight through the wrapping paper.

Once open, I stood them in the soft glow of my brand new Aquaman PJs – just like the ones I wore in US Army Basic Training. They had the same embroidered seahorse and everything. I put them on and the seams split. At first I thought that it was a by product of my portly figure but then I realized that it was shoddy work.

A closer inspection revealed that the embroidery was actually just an iron-on transfer. I couldn’t believe it – THESE WERE FAKE PJs!!

Ruined my christmas and my new year. But now you know why I hate fake PJs.

sincerely

John “Faker 6” Giduck

I tightened my chinstrap but I don’t think it helped.

Mr Wolf

“BFFB” is a saying he’s trying to get associated with his group.

Big Fat Flabby Bastards. Yeah. That works.

ArmyATC

Big Fucking Fibber Bastard works also.

A Proud Infidel®™

A rather corpulent wonder-queef, he looks like he’s never met a jelly doughnut he didn’t like!!

Combat Historian

Yup, I remember it well. I was in my third week of OSUT at Benning in June ’79 when we got the call. It was a hot Georgia morning and we were practicing platoon d & c when we were summoned to a TS(SCI) briefing. Our entire OSUT training company was being deployed to Nicaragua to support the evacuation of AMCITs there. We were dropped in by chute after a quickie two-hour static line class. We then proceeded to cut a bloody swath of death and destruction from Managua to the Pacific Coast, as we moved out a busload of American nuns and fashion models to be evacuated by the Navy. Our body count of both Somozistas and Sandinistas that day must have been in the many hundreds. For out actions that day, every trainee in the company received Silver Stars, while the company officers and drill sergeants received DSCs. This all remains classified, of course, so none of this is reflected in any of the personnel or operational records; so y’all just have to take my word for it…///

GDcontractor

Checking out his FB page he is the front desk manager at the Clarion Inn. When I see something like this, it reinforces my belief that being a douchebag is its own punishment. Like that guy yesterday….we’re getting beat up for “bullying” him. Hey lady, I got news for ya….he’s a waiter, at On The Border, somewheres in fucking Iowa. The guy was a loser before we came along….as if we could turn him into a waiter with our snide well-deserved commentary. If that were true, Obama would be back working at Baskin Robbins.

Anyway, help me resist my compulsion to join the Sons of Malta MC….founded by a lying thriving hotel desk clerk with a heart of gold. I’m sure he’s a great guy.

Old Trooper

Hey, lay off the guy! He’s wearing the bling to honor PJs! Yeah, that’s it. That’s the ticket.

AverageNCO

A Tommy Flanagan reference on a stolen valor thread? Well that means I have to post this.

Club Manager

The math alone shows this is another lying sack of shit. Basic training, minimum 4 weeks if you are going to the Security Forces School across the base. Ten weeks for the school unless it changed since I graduated. Travel, leave, etc. Of course the Air Force would immediately send a Lackland trained operator on a mission of that nature. You never know when you will need someone experienced in directing traffic which is the primary thing I came away from the AP School knowing, other than multiple weapons quals.

Hayabusa

What is with these faker douchenozzles and the motorcycles? Why does every other phony seem to be riding a Harley and wearing a do-rag and vest festooned with unit patches and medals and badges? It’s gotten to where whenever I see some Harley guy with “veteran” shit all over himself, I automatically start to suspect a phony. Which is a shame, because most (?) of those guys are probably legit, but there are so many fakers they’re getting a bad name.

Mustang1LT

Phony Pararescueman and the tattoo he has says “Sons of Malta”….I dunno, stealing the valor of Knights from the Crusades just might not be the smartest thing one can do. Hey, maybe he’s got the Maltese Falcon in the saddlebag on his bike!

🙂

ArmyATC

I see this turd as more of a blue falcon.

Andy

You know I love the psychology of posers. Like people say, it(faking)is always just the tip of the iceberg. Honestly I had never even heard of this embassy evacuation until today. So what made weak Weeks her fixate on it for his fantasy? And going so far as to edit a wiki page? That has got to be a new one here at TAH. I wonder if the fantasy is that real to him?

Mustang1LT

Actually, Cheeseslayer McBlobfish tried to create a Wikipedia page for himself and there was another clown not too long ago with the name Stark or Shark or some shit like that who had some alleged female fan try to create a page for him also on Wikipedia. I’m actually thinking that this may be the new trend in posery. We are fortunate to be able to witness such douchebaggery!

Hack Stone

Isn’t Stark/Shark the clown phony SEAL from The Stunning Agency that introduced us to the Flaming Squirrel?

A Proud Infidel®™

Yup!

tm

While wikipedia does try to keep fakers from trying to alter it, they do generally keep the complete history of a page, so you can go through it all and compare versions as they existed at some point in the past.

Because you know the next excuse is, “I didn’t edit that wikipedia entry”.

Mustang1LT

The thing that gets me about guys like this is the fact that they are front and center talking about concepts such as honor and integrity. Talking a good game, but not wanting to do the heavy lifting involved in actually LIVING it.

rb325th

Once upon a time I was considering going to the Blue Crew and attempting the PJ route. Training is almost as long as he was in the service. In other words, not a damned chance he did it in 4 months. Hell I believe even the Air Force has an week Basic alone.

Green Thumb

Extra shitbag.

A Proud Infidel®™

I wonder if this corpulent clown will screech and threaten to “Lawer up” while he shits flaming squirrels?

Green Thumb

I doubt it.

I believe he will fire up his ride and head south to Florida.

There are enough posers there to start their own Poser MC.

Jabatam

Good luck starting an MC in Florida…shit ain’t happening at the moment

GDContractor

Glad this scumbucket is getting the attention he deserves BUT someone needs to do some counseling with that TV station in regards to The Silver Star medal. I find it sad and amazing that they are too fucking lazy to google it.

Green Thumb

A parolee.

Awesome.

Spectre Bill

I participated in the NEO of Nicaragua in 1979. We sat on alert at Howard for about a week and flew local missions around the Canal. The mission was “ho-hum” with no military action at all. PJs were there with us…and didn’t do anything either. After about a week, we returned to HRT without ever going in country or firing a shot. This guy is fake as fake gets…

J C

Here is a link with this guy out in public with his hardware…spreading dis-honor to them who have served!

http://www.mywabashvalley.com/story/d/story/local-officer-recieves-honor/24840/jlkpySaRLkG7KMygt6rp0Q

country life

Can I add in here this fine gentleman has a felon record, met his 20 year old wife doing porn, and I’ve heard manages his club as a dictator. He tries to blind his community by doing fundraising events (where he can’t account for funds raised and guns auctioned off), and recently was on the news for starting a community center for troubled youth. He’s quite a role model. However he leaves out the fact he has a felon record and lost most respectable members of his “club” due to his supporting of one percent bike clubs. What a pathetic low life.

C.S

And now he’s being investigated by the FBI and kalamazoo county sheriffs dept for fraud and embezzlement on top of falsifying what he did in the military.
And on a side note i’m not military…and i’d like to thank all of you guys here for your service. You are appreciated. And i’d like to give a big finger to Joe weeks for basically urinating on the graves of all those who have served our country, with his lies and scumbaggyness.

http://www.cw7michigan.com/news/features/top-stories/stories/Head-of-local-charity-under-fire-after-allegations-of-fraud-embezzlement-.shtml

Green Thumb

You just made my morning.

Weeks is a shitbag and it looks like his bullshit just caught up with him.

Hondo

Good news indeed. Thanks for posting the link.

Bobo

Nice to see the This Ain’t Hell banner on the news.

ArmyATC

Thank you, C.S. Are you the person interviewed by WWMT? He used basically the same phrase as you did, about urinating I=on veterans and their graves. If it is you, I just wanted to say thanks for helping to out this Turd Weeks. So what’s next for the club? Any chance it can survive?

nbcguy54

While I’m sure that we all appreciate it when the local news folks report when a scumbag gets busted, I will to hell that they would do some BASIC research before printing their stories:

“They included allegations that Weeks is wearing a fraudulent Silver Star, among other awards, that he didn’t earn. The Silver Star is a parachutist badge and para-rescue badge.”

NHSparky

Newsies? Research?

Surely you jest.

Big Steve

A lot of these bikers are sort of low self-esteem guys anyway. That’s why they become bikers… to be cool, tough, impress chicks, etc.
So it comes as no surprise, given their low self-esteem, and few real accomplishments, that they would try to claim all sorts of military training and exploits to further compensate for their shortcomings.
