Scotty sends his research on one Jerimaiah Snyder who claims to be a Ranger on several forums.
He even promises that he won’t fire on American citizens as a soldier, which is nice of him since he hasn’t been a soldier since his 10-month National Guard career ended in 2005.

Hondo, I just looked at his service dates, and to get an early discharge back in ’05, one had to be a really prized specimen of a dirtbag!!

@4, Hondo, I bet he just stopped showing up to drill and they just discharged him and sent him to the IRR. It’s been 14 years since I was in the reserves but I think it takes as few as two skipped drills with no explanation/contact and they can boot you.

Para 6-16 Lapel buttons for service
d. Army Lapel Button. The Army Lapel Button is a gratuitous issue item made up of a minute man in gold color on a red enamel disk surrounded by 16-pointed gold rays with an outside diameter of 9/16-inch.
(1) Eligibility requirements are as follows:
(a) Soldiers transitioning with an honorable characterization of service (those being transferred to another component for completion of a military service obligation, and those receiving an Honorable Discharge Certificate).
(b) Non-adverse separation provision.
(c) Minimum 9 months continuous service—a break is 24 hours or more.
(d) Active Federal service on or after 1 April 1984; or, service in a Ready Reserve unit organized to serve as a unit (National Guard unit or Army Reserve troop program unit) on or after 1 July 1986.
(e) Retroactive issuance is not authorized.
(f) No Soldier separating from the Service is to be awarded more than one Army Lapel Button.
(2) Issuance requirements are as follows:
(a) All eligible Soldiers will receive the Army Lapel Button.
(b) Awarded by unit commander or representative, captain, or above.
(c) At troop formations or other suitable ceremonies.
(3) Orders will not be published.
(4) Original issue, for eligible Soldiers who were not awarded the Army Lapel Button, or replacement of Army Lapel Button will be replaced according to paragraph 1–47.
Para 1-47 will tell you how to direct your request appropriate to your situation

An Army lapel button is the same thing as a Navy lapel button, but without a ship on it.

It’s possible this guy got dropped because of non-participation. But given that he got booted in 2005 when most units weren’t exactly trying to get rid of folks, I’d guess there might be a different reason.
Dunno for sure, but non-participation doesn’t seem to fit.

I don’t think that he was a medical at the mob station. From the 2-1, it looks like they moved him right to the read det before they went to the mob station, which is also indicative of a problem. It has been a while since I deployed with a unit, but, as I recall, anyone who got hit with a medical issue while at the mob station stayed at the mob station until they went to an MRB.
This person has a gun enthusiest page on Youtube and likes to post on multitudes of gun forums but mainly on AR15.net under the user ID MrBlueAgian (purposely spelled wrong). His actual name spelling is Jerimiah Snyder it’s misspelled on here so if you do a google search with the correct spellin of his name or his mrblueagian name, you will get LOADS of results. Check Scotty’s page you’ll see a lot more of his BS. Please spead the word about this asshat. From personal experience I can say he is a self-rightious story teller and one hell of a liar. I would like to see him come on here and tell “his side”.
