Yer Friday Afternoon Funny: The Phildo Shuffle
Phildo was a tool who got
A good discharge
But that did not stop him
From wantin’ to live large
At a MC bar
Told a bunch of lies ’bout bein’ a SEAL
MC bought it
And they made him a real big wheel
Next stop sunny coast, Phildo he did lie and boast, s’how he roll
He say, “All this bull oughta get it
Clients never will vet it
We’ll get the gold!”
Phildo, whoa oh, oh, oh
Spreading the BS, it’s all for show
Truth is different we all know
Phildo, whoa oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
He say, “One more lie oughta get it
More BS means more credit
We’ll get the gold!”
Phildo up an’ runnin’
Havin’ great big fun ’til the story broke
Provin’ Phildo’s stories lies
And that was all she wrote
He be shakin’ like a scared cow
Can’t cover his tracks now, all up in smoke!
Sayin’, “Oh s**t, pooch I done screwed, an’
Clients say, ‘Nothin’ doin’ –
Now go hit the road!’ “
Phildo, whoa oh, oh, oh
Spreading the BS, it’s all for show
Truth is different we all know
Phildo, whoa oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
He say, “All my lies didn’t get it
In deep s**t with the Feds and
There’s no more gold!”
With apologies to Boz Scaggs.
Category: Who knows
Nice.
Hehe
Very funny.
Is this refer to Phillip Monkress the CEO of All Points Logistics?
heh
*Does
Boz Scaggs? Wow, you’re OLD….
David: beats the alternative. (smile)
You do realize Boz Scaggs released yet another album this year – right? And is still touring?
Lots of us are old, brother. But still kicking.
Nice work, Hondo!
hey, I’m still mourning for Bo Diddley. (1952)
Surely Paul K. Wickre will find this terribly entertaining, and will laugh right along with us. And the Purple suited Heavy Drop Test Dummy, will be humming it as he “hums” his cell buddy when next he does the Dumbazz waltz and gets his orange jumpsuit. Phillip Dale Monkress sure has a troupe of the funny guys.
Who are all of the “first name” people in blue
showing up all over the place on this blog?
GT: Whom in particular? There was one Last name Smythe that hit that “anonymity” post that was new.
Their are a lot of “one names” in the column to the right on many long dead threads. Lewis, Garcia, Green, Anderson, Lopez, etc.
When I click on a subject (not there name) they disappear.
I did not know if it was a glitch, or such.
*shuffles along while doing an interpretative dance that says “fsck you Wrickre”*
#13, they’re spam and I try to delete them as fast as I see them.
Oh, ok.
So, Hondo, are you going to do something with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young? Or maybe Grateful Dead?
Ex-PH2: Dead? Hmmmmm. “Truckin’ ” that – rhymes with “Posin’ “, doesn’t it?
Might be able to come up with one along those lines. Let me take a look at that – no promises, though. We’ll see. (smile)
@6. Hey – Boz Scaggs has one of the best soul voices in music, regardless of age.
And “Silk Degrees” was one of the best soul albums of the ’70’s. It still sounds as good today as it did in 1976.
Hondo…don’t tempt me or I’ll have to invoke Rush. And I know just the song to do it.
@21 NHSparky if you want to impress me got to do it with a “One Direction” song while “twerking” like Miley Cirus … 😛
Hmm….
Truckin’, cluckin’, pluckin’, punkin’, luckin’, shmuckin’ — well, you get the drift, Hondo.
@21… “Working Man”?
@24. “Limelight” seems a little more appropriate for a poser.
@24…little after 2112 but before Moving Pictures.
@26. “Permanent Waves?”
I think ya oughta go a bit before 2112, NHSparky – you wouldn’t even have to change the title of the Rush tune I’m thinking of for most posers.
‘Course, for the Dead maybe I should focus on “Touch of Grey”. Now, what word could I find that rhymes with “Grey” that’s apropos for many posers . . . oh, yeah.
But that might be even a bit too “un-PC” even for me. (smile)
How about the album just after “Moving Pictures” – “Exit…Stage Left.” Seems fitting.
JWD, Hondo!
APL folks,
The “Phildo” is going to ride that train as long as you let him.
He will continue to steal from you and others that have earned it as long as you let him.
Think “Class Action”.
Or simply a punch in the face.
Where is Paul “of the Ballsack”?
@17.
Saw several shows before I had to clip my “one” hair and get with the times.
“The Hustle” is probably “Pee Wee Herman” Wickre’s favorite song to dance to in his spandex while he watches himself in his mirror!
