Code Pink loves some Ron Paul
In the event you need another reason to dislike either Ron Paul or Code Pink, Fox News reports that they’re almost in bed together these days;
“The Ron Paul people are closer and closer to our talking points with each election,” Code Pink activist Liz Hourican told FoxNews.com.
Hourican specifically was referring to Paul’s and Code Pink’s respective positions on U.S. aid to Israel — both have called for eliminating it. Code Pink, known for staging noisy disruptions at hearings and speeches where their topics of interest are being discussed, shares other common ground with Paul, like opposition to the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. But the Israel issue added a new layer.
Paul spokeswoman Rachel Mills, asked about the Code Pink comment, suggested Code Pink might be gravitating toward the congressman’s view, rather than the other way around.
Well, sure when your foreign policy stance is intellectually vacant and naive, you’re bound to find equally vacuous people on the other end of the spectrum. Can we expect Paul to start wearing pink feather boas? We already know that Medea has the proper garb to be a Paulian;
Is that really Medea, or is that Paul, before a haircut?
Where do they get those costumes? I have never seen such crap as they wear, and most of it seems to be “off the rack”, but what rack? Where?
FO, think Salvation Army, or theatrical supply.
Most telling reason why I’ll never vote for Ron Paul: “Paul spokeswoman Rachel Mills, asked about the Code Pink comment, suggested Code Pink might be gravitating toward the congressman’s view, rather than the other way around.”
The Lord Emperor Paul I hath Spoken.
This just goes to show that Ron Paul is a communist POS, as I have said here many times before.
…frankly I didn’t need another reason. Could never vote for that ass under any circumstances.
@ #1 – You should have seen her when she was a lot younger communist….No change! LOL
Nice smear job.Ron Paul opposes ALL foreign aid on Constitutional grounds not just aid to Israel.
James,
No one has to smear Ron Paul. He’s perfectly (and demonstrably) capable of doing that himself. He and code pink are made for each other.
I am convinced he’s the lost twin brother of Lyndon Larouche.
James:
You are just so typical. Any criticism of your hero is a “smear”. Ron Paul is an elected official, and we ARE ALLOWED to criticize him. Deal with it, you big baby.
All Jonn iss saying is that Ron Paul and Code Pink are looking more and more alike these days. Ron Paul represents the America-hating defeatist Right, and Code Pink represents the America-hating defeatist Left. At the end of the day, they aren’t all that dissimilar.
I love arguing with Paulbots. If I weren’t going to work right now, I’d do it all day.
Oh, and James? Another thing…
If Ron Paul opposes foreign aid on constitutional grounds, why doesn’t he oppose unconstitutional pork projects for his district on constitutional grounds? Hmmmm?
The more I see of the Ronulans, the more I am convinced that the majority of them believe the blimp will take them up to the mothership when it comes out from behind the comet…
Jonn, had you seen some of his “supporters” up here in NH, you’d be going, “Yeah? Tell me something I don’t know.”
All you need now are a few “troofers” and a few of the Stormfront crowd, and viola! Instant Ronulan crowd!
Fair and balanced, eh? This article in it’s original format was a smear piece to begin with. They are sure to quote people who are from Code Pink as it concerns foreign aid and Ron Paul. But never is there a whisper of anything that amounts to Ron Paul’s acceptance of Code Pinks endorsement, nor of what exactly they have in common other than the writers insistence that to oppose foreign aid is to place one on par with Code Pink…….and if by common ground you mean Ron Paul and Code Pink calling for an end to foreign aid to Israel, then you are certainly mistaken as I am sure Code Pink has yet to nor will they ever call for an end to foreign aid to Israel’s enemies. 3 billion a year to Israel v.s. 12 to 14 billion to Arab countries that hate Israel, you decide. Did any of you stop to think that an Israel, independen of American influence and in full control of her own sovereignty might be good for America because a more centrally located Israel can deal with various threats in the Middle East, much like it did back in the 80’s with an Iraqi nuclear plant?
Truth’s a bitch, ain’t it Ghart?
Now go play with your Stormfront buddies. Try denying that one, m’kay?
Just like clockwork, Ronpaul announces, Ronpaultards start coming out of the wood work.
And, nice job, Ben. That would appear to be an “inconvenient truth”, when it comes to Ronpaul.
[…] know; Code Pink and Veterans For Peace are coming our for Ron Paul. It was almost a year ago that we first reported Code Pink support for Ron […]
