Three of a kind, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, and one in the wind waiting on his pal’s plea bargain. The Jennings/Bryco .380 depicted is one of the original Saturday Night Specials, and not for the faint of heart.
“Thanks to the government’s past record, it is unfortunately very predictable that, in spite of the severe penalties mandated, tens of thousands of people will not comply at all (with Bill C-68). A new class of criminal will be created among harmless citizens whose previous lawbreaking may have resulted in nothing more than parking tickets.” — Lee Morrison, Canadian Mounted Police

Here’s to hoping the 3 of a kind catch 3 kinds of infections while they lay up at taxpayer expense. They all could have used a nice little double tap.
When I FIRST started reading the linky for the gun pr0n, it looked to me as the owner was Bruce JENNER instead of Jennings. I thought, “Hell no wonder, a sissy looking piece for a sissy looking piece.” I don’t even think it would make a good paperweight.
Heh. I was gifted one of its kin, a Davis .380. They are famous for going kaboom after 200 rounds or so; its a throw down piece, or waiting for a buy-back.
Ex GF had a JA-25. She emptied it into the
ceiling over the closet before she took off
for good. Ruined lots of clothes when it rained while
I was working out of state.
Women are capable of some pretty nasty stuff.
But I guess we all know that eventually.
That New Tribune article is very poorly written. It is hard to tell what happened. Two men? Three men? He shot “the other guy”?
*The News Tribune.
That’s what passes for “journalism” now. The quality of that piece makes me understand why my mom was so critical of my high school writing assignments.
Probably was a classmate of yours….
He’s about as smart as you are larsie boi….

“After a verbal exchange, Jonathon Hardwick, 26, of Springfield, fired one round from his Glock 40 caliber pistol, striking Jones in the chest”
Neighbors arguing over what a piece of shit
the Glock is. Didn’t say if Jones had Corona but
you can bet he died from it.
How would Jones having a Toyota cause him to die?
(hehehe)
Corona was not found at the scene, but the fridge did contain a 6-pack of Tecate’.
If you remember the Corona, you’re OLD.
I had a 81 Corona. Bronze color.
Four door manual trans. I think the
engine was a 22 R or something that
later went into the Land crusers.
Nice highway cruiser.
It got stoled.
I worked for a Toyota dealership in the early ’70s. Still saw Crowns come for service and the owner had a 200GT. Drove supposedly the first Jensen-Healey west of the Mississippi when we picked that line up – happened to be the first one at work as the truck was unloading.
I think the 22R went into cars and HiLuxes, the Land Cruiser used a Jap version of a Chevy in-line six as I remember. Could be wrong, I’ve slept since then.
Thanks for reminding me about Jennings/Bryco /Jimenez Arms. I think I’d heard about them at one time long, long ago as something to stay away from, but no details.
(and here I thought Hi-Point was a cheaply made gun. J/B/J makes H-P seem like the Rolls Royce of gun manufacturing)
The High Point looks butt ugly but most reports say they are safe and reliable. The Jennings et al ‘zinc guns’ were commonly referred to as ‘hand grenades.’
That agrees with what I’ve read about Hi-Points: homely (OK, ugly) but reliable as hell. And I believe they still come with a lifetime warranty.
, though if I remember what I’ve read correctly now it’s only for the original purchaser.(My error on the deleted part – I checked their website and it states outright that their warranties are still transferable.)The Jennings and it’s relatives? Well, having one of those is probably better than bringing a knife to a gunfight . . . .
So I don’t think it “went down” exactly as the individual thought it would, for the people in Washington State.
The young man was well read as he said eh “feared for his life” when the police asked why he shot the individual…which checks the blocks on “Self-Defense”!
In case you are interested. Mikey Weinstein is at it again. Saw this on FOX today.
Four recent videos involving chaplains Cpt. Amy Smith and Maj. Scott Ingram posted on the Facebook page of the Army’s 10th Mountain Division Sustainment Brigade at Fort Drum, N.Y., were taken down after MRFF founder and president Mikey Weinstein sent a demand letter claiming they violate the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
I once owned a High Standard 9 shot top break revolver .22 cal. It was a pretty sweet piece. Can’t remember what ever became of that one. Not even sure if High Standard is still in business.
Colt 1902 Military…with pimp grips.
I’m fairly certain it’s not what JMB (HBTN) had in mind but still that finish is damn fine. Musta been a looker brand new.
