I have this on a Flash drive in my car and listen to it about once a day when I am working.
Magnificent composition.
One of my lifelong friends Fallen Marine, Adam Wolff, KIA 6-20-2014, Helmand Province Afghanistan.
Let us give thanks that such men have lived.
We beseech thee Oh Lord to take these Fallen Servants of yours into your arms and cradle them with the love and respect that they are due.
Oh Lord, watch over their surviving families and let us honor them with the love that you have for all of mankind.
Amen.

Got real dusty all of a sudden….Twice.
The heaviest load ever borne…Becoming a Gold Star Parent.
Is the battlefield cross (as in top photo) reserved for only those killed in combat, or can it be used for a currently-serving person who was killed in, say, a car accident?
Refer to Army FM 7-21.13 for answers on that, but keep in mind that the main purpose of the Battlefield Cross is to show honor and respect for the dead (by the living members of the unit) at the battle site.

Breathtaking.
Question for all of you:
Is the battlefield cross (as in top photo) reserved for only those killed in combat, or can it be used for a currently-serving person who was killed in, say, a car accident?
You meant the helmet, dog tags, rifle, boots and flags? I can’t imagine anyone finding fault with that, Eden.

I’ve combed through that reg a number of times, but it doesn’t make it clear whether it can be used for non-combat deaths. Thus my question.
