Pervert Uses Marine’s Photo on Profile Used to send his Genital Pictures to Women

Imagine, if you will, walking with your family out in the community. You could be going shopping, going out to eat, or going out to a movie. You’re on your way to the establishment when someone accosts you in the parking lot.
In front of your family, a woman you’ve never met accuses you of sending photos of your private part, at attention, to her. Surprised, and knowing for a fact that you didn’t do such a thing, you stand up for yourself. You didn’t send anybody your private parts.
In fact, you don’t know who she is, never saw her, etc. However, she counters, with conviction, that it was indeed you who sent a photo of your stiff private part to her.
Advance a couple of hours, or a couple of days, when you’re out with your wife when another woman comes up. Different from the other one; same accusation, same reaction on your part, and you give a similar response. Your wife is starting to wonder about your activities.
A member of the British Royal Marines recently had this experience. He had multiple people accost him. His life, as well as that of his wife, got more challenging.
Graeme Brandon, a 43 year old, created a fake WhatsApp profile using the photo of the Royal Marine. He used this profile to send photos of his erect member to women ranging from 27 to 45. This Marine’s unit was about to deploy, so he had to deal with this fiasco in addition to the stresses of getting family and oneself ready for deployment.

The first women came forward in January 2017 with other women also complaining about indecent images they had been receiving on their telephones.
Detectives soon determined the indecent images were the same photograph.
In April 2017, Steele Saunders also approached Dorset Police to complain that his photograph had been stolen and used on a fake WhatsApp profile being used to send explicit images.
Detectives arrested Brandon on October 4, 2017 and seized several mobile phones and computers.
However, following his release, further women continued to receive the same explicit image.
Today, in Bournemouth Crown Court Brandon was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
His victim Mr Saunders in an impact statement said: ‘The thought that people were doubting me was unbearable. (…) There have been incidents when I was out with my family that people recognised my face and started shouting things towards me.

They should have known the picture was a fake. An actual Marine’s genitals would take a panoramic view to get them all in one picture.

I would hope the ladies involved had the decency to apologize to the Marine and his family. In my estimation, he’s more of a victim in this instance than they are. Not saying it’s their fault, of course, but he was falsely accused in public, so that should be set right.

What good does this do for the perp? I’m just confused by what the perp thought he was going to get out of it.
