Suspect shot while trying to rob Metro PCS on the Southside

Author: First Coast News
JACKSONVILLE, Fla — A man was shot inside a MetroPCS on Sunbeam Road while trying to rob the store around 5:30 p.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says.

JSO says the suspect fled after being shot, but was shortly taken to the hospital.

Police did not say whether the shooter was an employee or customer of the store. Brian Alvarenga, who works as a barber at Kut Kingz nearby, said an employee shot the gun in self defense.

“A gentleman who works at Metro PCS started banging on the glass to try to get our attention, and he said he just shot somebody who tried to rob him over there.”

At the scene on Wednesday, detectives swarmed a car. Alvarenga said the suspected attempted robber tried to run to his car after getting shot. There were blood stains on the ground in the parking lot next to a brown-colored Ford SUV.

Man shot woman who had mace and Taser because he thought he was being robbed: Police

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man is in custody after police say he told them he shot a woman, who had mace and a Taser, because he thought he was about to be robbed.

Around 10 p.m. Wednesday, the man and a different woman were sitting in a car at an apartment complex at 2500 Westridge near Kirby in southwest Houston, when he says the woman with the mace and Taser walked up to them.

Thinking the woman came up to rob him, he fired one shot, hitting her in the arm, police say.

Weakley Co. shot and killed after attempting to break into ex-girlfriend’s home

Julia Ewoldt
DRESDEN, Tenn. — After receiving a prowler call in Weakley County last night, sheriff’s deputies ended up investigating a homicide.

Investigators say a man died late Tuesday night on Pisgah Road in Dresden after he was trying to break into his ex-girlfriend’s house.

“A call came in shortly after 11 o’clock, what was believed to be a prowler call, and the deputies responding, and while they were going, the call was updated that somebody at the scene had been shot,” Captain Randall McGowan of the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department said.

Investigators say 20-year-old Anthony Perry parked his car down the road and walked to the woman’s house.

“An off-again, on-again boyfriend of the woman who lived at the house,” McGowan said. “Their relationship was off at the present time, and he was upset about it, and he was trying to get in the house to talk to her, and he broke a window out of the master bedroom.”

Today’s totals, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, stand at one in the chill chest, two enduring the tender mercies of Nurse Ratched (medication time!), and no reported leakers, dammit.

And just like the Trumpster we are still winning. 1/2/0 puts us at the payoff window.

Do believe I’d take the morgue slab over treatment from Nurse Ratched, better to go quick than to be lobotomized.

Nice hand cannon! fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfap I wheely wheely wheely like it.

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Nothing sez “I loves my woman SO much” like stalking, breaking and entering her home.

Outcast

1/2/0, well at least so far this week we don’t have many still out and about. 1. Well nurse Ratched gets the first of 2 on her table so she can use her soldering iron for 10 minutes to cauterize each wound, entry and exit (she loves to work on shot D/A’s), just never mind the screaming as she doesn’t use pain killers, has to be sure she does the job right. Yep D/A in Florida, lots of old geezers. but doesn’t matter as they all shoot there no matter what age. 2. Yep more screaming, this ought to be interesting as to outcome as who gets to be in custody. would be nice to have more details. 3. Mom’s are known to protect their youngin’s but we have learned often youngins also protect their mom. Broken window, prowling, stalking, told to leave, well now he is gone and will be no further bother. Sounds as justifiable, Tenn, hmmm, anyone got one of those mason jars with the clear liquid in it (just make sure it isn’t the same stuff D/A was drinking), we ought to have a round on this one. Well little red wagon is all shined up and ready to roll, waitin instructions. Better hurry, Mason jar is callin my name.

Actually saw a Dan Wesson with a NONinterchangeable barrel a while back. Never knew they made one.

David;
Was just going to ask if Dan Wesson still made changable barrels. One of the Brink’s shooting team members owned a Dan Wesson changable barrel .38 he bought out on Long Island NY years ago.

You can’t talk bad about the “Gentleman” that posts the FGS!

That’s mine and AnotherPat’s job! (grin)

Why would anyone walk up to a car with mace and a taser and not expect to get shot??

Docduracoat

I like the caption and link naming the gun shown.
$2,000 for a .357 revolver!
I do need a six shooter for my collection.
My wife is usually very understanding, but I am certain she would veto that price!
Any suggestions for a more reasonably priced revolver for target shooting?
I have home defense and concealed carry covered with semi autos.
