UPDATE: Fatal shooting earlier this week in York was self-defense, DA says

Ed Weinstock
YORK, Pa. — UPDATE: A fatal shooting in York was self-defense, according to officials with the district attorney’s office.

Authorities said Friday that the victim, Christian Gutierrez-Rosado, broke into a home on the 700 block of West Princess Street and assaulted a resident.

The resident shot Gutierrez-Rosado once in the chest, killing him, according to investigators.

Officials said Gutierrez-Rosado had previously been charged with felony strangulation against one the residents and wasn’t supposed to be at the property.

SAN ANTONIO — A homeowner shot a man suspected of breaking into his truck early Friday morning.

Police vehicles lined Hunter Hawk near Northwest Military and Huebner as officers tracked blood droplets from the suspect shot who fled the scene.

“They began to follow that blood trail that led down the block,” San Antonio Police Spokesperson Carlos Ortiz said. “At some point, though, that blood trail went dry.”

The homeowner told police he caught the burglar rummaging through his truck parked in his driveway. According to the preliminary report, when the homeowner confronted the suspect he lunged at him and the homeowner fired a single shot.

Man shot trying to force way into home charged with stalking in Anderson Co.

By: WSPA Staff
ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man, who was shot in the neck and hand while trying to force his way into a home in the county early Wednesday morning, has been charged with stalking.

The shooting happened on Capitol Way around 3:20 a.m.

Sgt. J.T. Foster, with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, said the person who was shot tried to force open the door to a home. A resident inside the home fired one or two shots, hitting him in the neck and hand.

Foster said Wednesday that he believed the person shot had been trespassed from the location.

Sunday morning brings us, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, one each: mort, mending up for trial, and in the wind. While researching the articles for today’s FGS I came across the following example of the immutable laws of unintended consequences. It’s pretty funny, too.

Gun Groups: More Than A Million High-Capacity Magazines Flooded California During Weeklong Ban Suspension

Matthew Green
More than a million high-capacity ammunition magazines flooded into California during a one-week window created when a federal judge temporarily threw out the state’s ban, gun owners’ groups estimated Thursday.

The magazines aren’t tracked. But there are plenty of anecdotal indications that the floodgates briefly opened when U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez overturned the state’s nearly 20-year-old ban in late March.

“Everything was all sold out. I basically took whatever I could get,” said Chris Puehse, who owns Foothill Ammo in Shingle Springs, east of Sacramento.

He fielded dozens of telephone calls while buyers stacked up 20 deep in his one-man store to buy the hundreds of magazines that arrived in two shipments last week. He had just six left by the time Benitez reinstated the ban last Friday.

“People loved it. It was like we were out of prison and were not treated like bastard stepchildren of the country anymore,” he said.

Puehse said that 30-round magazines for military-style rifles, handgun magazines holding 17 to 20 bullets, all selling for less than $30 each, almost immediately “disappeared.”

Much as folks comment on the stockpiling of arms and ammunition, and what this implies for the possibility of a civil war, there are more essential portents of a coming storm.

When a large proportion of folks are stockpiling food and footgear, War is imminent.

“Calling Sister Mary Grace, clean up on stories 1 % 3!” Not only is true journalism dead, but the abuse of English Lit is atrocious. “…had been trespassed from the location.” Dahell?

Have we already counted the York PA in the DRT column previously? Is this a follow up to confirm the right to self defence of home and body? Either way is a win for us.

Hopefully the blood trail ran dry ’cause feral rats drug his sorry ass into the sewers and made a buffet bar out of him.

SC: Stalking and B & E. Perp is not any good at either one. Looks like new career will be pillow biting bitch for Mr. Tiny.

A million magazines in just a few days. Wonder if the commiefornia politicos thought about how much sales tax money was made on those transaction?

“Wonder if the commiefornia politicos thought about how much sales tax money was made on those transaction?”
My presumption is when that factor is derived the limit approaches zero in their feelings-based emotional calculus as the whole operating system lacks a basis in ethos or logos.
My $0.02, but as always, I’ll keep my eyes open for more evidence, unlike them.

Those magazines are just seeking asylum. See that, POTG can be dicks too.
Have a nice day, (what’s left of) California.

1/1/1, not a box office hit, more like a wedgie. 1. Told in many ways to stay away but goes back and gets his just reward. Victim, maybe in Californica’s state of mind, reporter looks old enough to tell difference, might be editorial (Pelosi lover) last minute change, no habla English. 2. Blood trail that ends but no body, need to hit part of body that bleeds more and either goes to where suspect is hiding or if good shot where body ran out of blood. 3, neck and hand shot, maybe hand is permanent injury, neck wound not too good, missed the big Vein. Well looks like the Judge opted to resupply the gangs with much needed supply of magazines. yeah some will go south of the border or out of state but most will stay in the state for the ugly underworld Pelosi has allowed to migrate there. Californica is now a free fire zone, didn’t plan on going there anyway. Time to check equipment here for next big winnings as is coming soon. On standby here for instruction’s.

Quick correction, if it does not have a shoulder stock it is not a short barreled rifle (SBR), it is technically a handgun and is sold as such. Some have easily twisted ‘arm braces’ officially designed for people without effective use of a bracing arm. Used to be if you put that up to your shoulder it instantly became an NFA SBR but that changed a couple of years back, and it is common to see folks with AR pistols shouldering that ‘brace’ legally. AR and AK pistols are fairly common now. They are a royal pain on the range… I would rather share a range with a 12 gauge than an AK pistol. Damn things make a .44 magnum sound tame – loads of muzzle blast.

rgr769

12 gauge target loads are nothing sound-wise. We shoot them almost all day at cowboy action matches wearing only over the counter ear plugs. What I hate at the range are these A-holes who shoot high-powered bolt guns with muzzle brakes.

David

Try 12 gauge slug loads on an INDOOR range and get back to me.
