Police: Stockton Drug Store Employee, Suspects Exchange Gunfire
STOCKTON (CBS13) – Officers are investigating after a Stockton drug store employee and suspects fired shots at each other.
The incident happened a little before 10 a.m. Wednesday at Doug’s El Dorado Drug Store along the 2000 block of East Mariposa Road.
Stockton police say multiple suspects walked into the pharmacy, which had several people inside at the time. At some point, multiple gunshots were exchanged between the suspects and an armed employee.
The suspects were last seen running out of the store, getting into a getaway vehicle.
No one was hurt in the incident, police say.
Investigators will be reviewing surveillance footage of the incident.

Man chases, fires gun at apparent robber, Portland police say
The man tells police he pulled a gun when a masked man opened his car door, then fired two shots as he chased him down Washington Avenue.
The victim of an apparent robbery attempt outside a Portland convenience store chased the suspect and fired two shots at him before the other man got away, Portland police said Wednesday.
The incident happened in the parking lot of Anania’s Variety Store at 606 Washington Ave. just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Lt. Robert Martin said it does not appear the robbery suspect was struck by the shots fired during the chase.
Martin said the 26-year-old Portland man told police he was returning to his car after making a purchase in the store when a masked man opened the passenger door of the car. The masked man made a threatening gesture – concealing his hand inside his sweatshirt, the 26-year-old man told police.
The man who believed he was being robbed was carrying a concealed weapon and drew it. The suspect ran from the parking lot onto Washington Avenue toward Ocean Avenue. The 26-year-old chased the suspect for a short distance before firing two rounds from several feet away, Martin said.

Quite the tally, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, with none on a slab, one inconvenienced legally, and a alarming four in the wind. Knew they were out there, skulking in the shadows.

“firing two rounds from several feet away”
The Portland police are pissed that the guy fired his weapon “down a busy street”.
Or some such bullshit.
Portland is not a gun friendly zone.
Mayor Ethan Strimling hates the 2nd amendment.
A rising star for the left.
Not wise to fire at a fleeing robber but I’ll give the guy a pass considering it was Portland.
0/1/4, well not a good start but at least one off the street. Have to wait and see what they find out on surveillance as to how many involved, if you ask customers there at the time you’d probably wind up with everyone being part of the holdup. Wonder if the gun was later checked as to working or not, if D/A forgot to take safety off I’d wonder if attempted murder could be also added. What is several feet, if you have conceal carry, I’d think you could at least hit a body at 20 or less feet, unless he was still running as he was shooting. Must be time went out to range and check and see if I can improve on old rusty skills. Measly pickings at window today. Will wait instructions.
Keyshaun done fucked up. He probably didn’t even chamber a round. Lucky victim.
I’m sure he’ll be out from prison in a short amount of time so he can eventually kill someone. He should be locked up until he’s 60 so if he wants to try to murder someone again he might be hampered by a broken hip.
Some people call him Maurice. Cuz he speaks, of the pompatus of love.
Again….Shoulda, coulda, woulda, had oughta been 5/0/0. Gun control means hitting your target and keep hitting your target until it’s down.
Keyshaun….sigh
Outcast take a well deserved day off. We still won, but you deserve a break today. I’ve got to go teach a little History FIRST thing this morning and it may take most of the day.
A little edict from the King of Battle to his loyal minions. Let us make a spirited attempt to post a comment on each thread each day during this upcoming week. As in sheets, the higher the count the higher the quality. Let us show the hard working dedicated staff weenies of TAH WW HQs how much they are appreciated. Before I go, in Honor of the posted gun pr0n picture, we’ll turn to the teachings of the Sainted Brother John Moses Browning (Howitzer Be His Name) Rev. Ch 19 V 11.
That is all. See y’all again FIRST thing this afternoon/evening. hbtd/rtr/gabn
What, Wait, Hold it, AW got promoted, staff weenie, no longer a dickweed, I didn’t see it mentioned on the site, Congratulations AW, probably no pay raise just additional things to do. Day off, yeah right, just got notification of back 40 needs mowing with old push mower then staff parking lot needs swept with Vietnamese house maids broom and still have KP.
Oh forgot, need to change sign in parking space from dickweed to staff weenie for AW.
Just got another memo, help move large mahogany desk from storage on floor 5C to office on floor 3P and place in corner of office, AW they ran out of corner offices in penthouse floors and came up with office corner as a solution.
They went into a drugstore to scare someone and get some cash and he shot at them, so they ran away. But there’s video, so they’ll turn up again and get charged, right? Right?
If superior numbers don’t work – RUN AWAY!! RUN AWAY!!
Bad shoot in Portland. Florida would have the victim most likely serve some jail time. Missed Fridays comments due to putting together a Mayfair book case for one of the drama club members. Didn’t have time to take pics of one of the well pointing ops behind our buildings and missed the catch basin installation through installing the head wall. I did comment on the chiropractor story before.
Portland – expect charges, shooting at someone who is not an active threat is a legal faux pas. Does remind me of a story: used to be (maybe still is) not unknown for a bad guy to jump the fence by a highway and rob someone stuck in traffic, then run away and jump the fence and get away clean. After all, the vic is sandwiched in, right? One guy in LA happened to pick on a guy who was returning from his class at Gunsite, who was all pumped with Situational Awareness drills. Baddie snatches open the door to find driver pointing a .45 at his nose, snarling “What do YOU want?!” Story goes the robber’s response was “to be somewhere else!”
The Stockton pharmacy is in the “ghetto” side of town, everyone knows they don’t play. A few years ago some other tard boy tried to rob them for drugs and was drt.
That is a nice looking gun in the photo.
Two tone olive drab and fde.
Is it a 1911 with one of those new fangled rails?!
