California homeowner beats alleged intruder with baseball bat, report says
By Katherine Lam

A California homeowner took matters into his own hands last Sunday when he beat a suspected intruder with a baseball bat, a report said.

The homeowner, who was not identified, woke up when he heard the 33-year-old alleged intruder in his home in Turlock, leading to him grabbing his bat and hitting the stranger, FOX40 reported.

The alleged intruder was bloodied and bruised by the time a woman ran to a neighbor’s house to call 911.

Armed neighbor thwarts alleged package thief

By: Kyle Simchuk
SPOKANE, Wash. – A south hill man says a package thief he confronted pulled a knife on him, and that’s when the good Samaritan pulled out his concealed pistol.

John Hoffman was returning from work Wednesday when he noticed a suspicious person in his neighborhood near the 2800 block of E. 18th Avenue.

“Made eye contact with him, just to make him [think] someone’s watching. You know, thinking he’d just keep walking,” Hoffman said.

He turned his van around and saw 26-year-old Jeramy Allen reaching for a package outside his neighbor’s home. Hoffman said Allen claimed to know the people inside.

“I said ‘No, you’re going to wait right here. I’m going to call police and we’ll figure this out.'”

Hoffman said that’s when Allen started running.

We all should be, and have, neighbors like that. 0 / 3 / 0 today, a Poor Man’s Trifecta Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, with zero morts or in the wind, but three recovering or incarcerated. Not shabby at all.

Oh, the ‘firearm’ up top. Actually looks fairly well made, but a function check is needed before going out into the wild with it, and some serious thought needs to be put into the grip for the next iteration. Doubt it meet’s Hondo’s idea of fugly gun prOn, though.
*grin*

“Oh, the ‘firearm’ up top”

Looks like fabricator did well in shop class.
Unlike the previous one from Special Ed.

Sapper3307

Glock gen6

Ex-PH2

You put that together out in the woodpile, didn’t you?

J.R. Johnson

Looks like my “Buck Rogers” gun I made out of wood…which that one looks like it is also made of.

Outcast

0/3/0, Pic looks like something made during the WWII era that was made in European main land, smaller caliber but still deadly. Another trifecta, makes 3 in 5 days, 1 good and 2 ok. 4/10/1 in the 5 days, Need a little work on the left column. 1 bat, 2 knives and 2 guns, bat and guns beat knives who’d a thunk. Batter must have been swinging for the fences, perp critical, next time dummy look for hockey or baseball trophy’s, got lucky this time, hockey sticks can be worse. 49 and still doing B and E, might ought to give rehab program a try in bar city. Ditching knife was somewhat stupid as are always finger prints, next time maybe a car to getaway in might be better idea. Oh well 5 days and 11 that will show up again in the future, $3,000 kinda low bail, but then it is Washington State. 5th, Yeah I know, small pot so will pick up as you took all of the money they had at the window yesterday, hope you and Miss Thang enjoyed. Jeff still MIA, was reported seen running through woods yesterday chasing a couple of the new sales clerks, aunatural, new exercise program I guess (I have my sources, the eyes are everywhere).

I’m still here and by the way, does anyone have a pic of one of those NYC 1950’s .22 zip guns. The ones with part of a car antenna hooked up to a zippo cig. lighter and a strip of metal with a small nail through it with a rubber band wrapped around it and the lighter????

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Top story……
It’s Kalifornication. You use what’s available to you, when you don’t have access to a gun.
No picture of the perp. Damn! I can just imagine.
Since there’s no ID of the perp, makes one wonder about “protected status” race.

Outcast

Om, maybe they are taking one of his eyes out of his ear and putting it back on the front of his face and also his nose being put back between his eyes as is Kalifornication and they don’t want any yuga-ly people being photoed from there.

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Mobile story.
This one seems backwards. Usually it’s a 49 yo victim and a 19 yo perp. As Outcast said, way past time for 49yo to find a new line of work.
As for Mr 19 yo, good shootin’! Especially in a CQ stress situation.

What kind of makes me leery as to some of these rehab programs is in some cases there has been Locksmith classes offered, yep just what some B&E type, and assorted others, needs to learn.

Outcast

No wonder you have some ugly guns or did you get them from Hondo’s safe

Outcast

Used to buy something like this when I was a kid from the toy store and when you pulled the trigger it would make a whirring noise and sparks would come out the barrel, great gun as never had to reload like Cqp pistol.

For the benefit of you non-gunnutz, that is the not so lovely WWII “Liberator” single shot in .45 ACP caliber. They were designed to be dropped behind enemy lines to be used by the locals to hopefully obtain better weapons from the occupying enemy forces. They are now worth about several hundred times more than the few bucks it cost to make them.

5th/77th FA

Running late again. Had all kinds of chores to line up for the crew FIRST thing this morning. Getting all kinds of FIRST echelon and depot level maintenance done on Firebase Magnolia. Hell of a note so damn decrepit gotta pay some body else to do things I coulda, shoulda been able to do this time last year. Damn a buncha strokes.

FIRST of all, is that commifornia baseball bat registered as a potential deadly weapon? Was it a fully semi automatic bat or a single swing? Must not of been an Atlanta Braves bat cause those bats can’t hit squat. Was it black and scary with clips, a chainsaw bayonet attachment with a flip up thingie in the back?

And now we got more idiots bringing knives to gun fights. They’ll never learn.

Using a fugly gun is like sleeping with a fugly woman. You might do it, you just don’t want anybody to see it.

3 of any kind still pays off on a win place or show bet. We’ll get the winnings in a paper bag. Might get a different date later in the week. Get two paper bags just in case hers falls off.
