Driver fatally shoots stranger who jumped on car hood, broke window in Charlotte

A driver in north Charlotte shot a stranger who jumped on his automotive hood and broke a window, police stated. The person who was shot, 21-year-old Robert Demarcus McManus, had “punched a girl in her face” as she sat in a automotive parked in a driveway alongside the identical highway, Gibbons Hyperlink Highway, at about eight p.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police stated Saturday.

Police decided the assault on the girl was unprovoked, based on the CMPD information launch. The girl didn’t know McManus, who had simply smashed a window of an unoccupied automotive on close by Nathan Highway, police stated. McManus was jogging down Gibbons Hyperlink Highway after punching the girl when he jumped onto the hood of a passing automotive, police stated.

When the driving force stopped, McManus smashed a window of the automotive, “at which period the suspect shot him,” police stated.

The driving force “then drove down the road for about 100 yards, stopped and instantly referred to as 911,” the police assertion stated.

Employees at North Carolina cellphone store nearly beat robbery suspect to death

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have released the 911 calls after employees at a southwest Charlotte cellphone store caught and beat one of the suspects accused of robbing the business Thursday night.

WSOC reported that it happened just before 7 p.m. at United Wireless Group on Green Park Circle.

Police said two men came into the store and stole several cellphones. Employees caught one of them and nearly beat him to death.

In the 911 call, the 911 operator is heard asking if anyone was injured during the robbery.

“Um no, but we got one of the guys here,” 911 caller said.

“OK, what do you mean one of the guys here? The suspect?” operator said.

“There’s a couple people with him. I believe we’ve got on in the parking lot held down,” 911 caller said.\

Officials said when paramedics arrived, they said the suspect “was in need of immediate medical attention” and had to use CPR to revive him. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

‘I would have pulled the trigger’: Federal Way mom holds would-be intruder at gunpoint

Author: Michael Crowe
A Federal Way mom was home alone with her infant daughter when she heard someone try to open the door. When the man wouldn’t leave, she held him at gunpoint until police arrived.

Casandra Cooksey said she heard a car door slam outside her home just before midnight.

“Then I heard my screen door open, and I started panicking,” Cooksey said. “Grabbed our firearm and came peeking around the corner here. Saw a man right in this opening in the door.”

Cooksey said the unidentified man appeared to be intoxicated
and wouldn’t leave.

The right of the people… Funny how much they got right oh so long ago….

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Be careful. Being THAT intoxicated in public can have serious consequences. Fortunately for him, SHE didn’t shoot, and HE’S not dead. Bet he’ll have one serious WTF moment when wakes up in a cell with a massive hangover.

Love today’s gun pr0n. That checkering on the grip for a no-slip grip even when wet or with gloves. Hopefully it’s not so aggressive and/or pointed that it hurts bare hands.
Especially appreciate the grooves on both front AND back of the slide. Well thought out.

Looked it up: Wilson Combat EDC X9, near enough to $3000 as makes no never mind. Bull barrel, fluted, recessed and crowned.
For that price, I’ll do my admiring from afar.

Did I read that first story correctly?

Toxic Deplorable B Woodman

Didn’t clicky the linkey, but looks like a foreign news service story translated by the foreign news reporter his/her self.
No need to call Sister Mary, wouldn’t do any good.

Hondo

Yeah, you did. For starters: the the Charlotte article’s author needs to learn the difference between “automotive” and “automobile”, as well as the difference between “driver” and “driving force”.

If they’re capable of learning that difference. They may simply be a dumbass with delusions of superiority.

26Limabeans

I read some of the authors other stuff and the same words are there.
Voice to text? I would love hear the phonetics.

Drive the force.

May the force be with you.

and here i was trying to figure out what an identical highway was

Outcast

Kinda looks like the winnings at the window are pretty slim for 5th today. 1 DRT, 2 off the street, none in the wind, maybe break even at the window. There’s always tomorrow. Must be the early morning choir practice’s and church services putting a damper on outside activities but serving wine is still a stimulant.

You are correct Outcast, would have been paid off in coinage vs folding money. However, due to my innate ability to interpret and decipher story # 1, the Bookie at the window gave me a bonus bottle of Top Shelf Stuff. Having a spare Goody Powder in my wallet for his headache helped some too. That and the comforting of the assaulted 21 yo made it worthwhile.

Still, all in all, a DRT, another guest for the Gray Bar Hilton, and a hospitalized BUOT (Beat up over there) does pay out some. The one in the wind, well as we all know, we’ll see him again….soon.

Pardon me while I refuel my Zippo.

Tallywhagger

The “automotive” force story must have been written by a computer. Sheesh, Hank Johnson could have written better copy.

OTOH, generation snowflakes may have been taught to read, write and speak in such manner so as to distinguish themselves from bullying, racist, hateful-hatey-haters of previous generations. After all, no one was triggered even if a safe space was harshed.

Outcast

Huh, WTF? Charlotte #1 Have had scams from Africa that manage to write letters that do not confuse as much as this one, must be in training of proper use of English, someone check and see if they are one of those Obutwipes special people he brought to USA. Charlotte #2, Legal expert questions “imminent threat” someone get his location as there might be some folks down there in town that might want to visit him in the middle of the night to test his question of imminent threat, You might also find some good stuff in his home to take also.
#3 Oh great, drunk, breaks into home, held at gun point for cops and cops determine no crime committed and drive the would be what ever home and drop him off, Hey lady next time someone breaks into your home, put two dead center and leave him on the floor inside the house and let corner to pick up as this try was apparently just a test run for cops and the drunk. 5th don’t come to my window as there is no pay out on this mess.

OWB

Will give the writer of #1 points for at least misusing words consistently in the same manner. Some of our home grown writers don’t even do that well.

Outcast

Yep I see it every day, either misuse or more often misspelled, the one I see most is simple as is 4 letters and still misspelled, dose instead of does, it’s that new math I keep telling people.

AW1 you don’t have to look so hard for these learning experiences as my slate tablet is about wore out from writing down some of these fancy words and they also don’t sell chalk anymore. Makes me wonder if you are going to start selling wonken fagnels and cyclopedias soon on line. Going to have to go yard sales again as last wunkin faginals I bought 10 years ago only has 79 pages, A to Z.
